Thank you for the awesome review 4UAD, glad you were impressed with the gun. So the slide locking issue, which only happens on the vice, was due to the strong recoil. It all starts with the airsoft magazine spring, and that spring is what activates the slide stop. Since airsoft magazine springs are nowhere near as strong as the real 1911 magazine spring, we need the slide stop to be a lot more sensitive (easier to push up to activate when mag is empty)🤔 Now. Because this is such a hard kicking pistol, when on your hands, our arms actually act as a shock absorber no matter how hard we hold the pistol, hence the slide stop doesn't activate until the mag is empty. However, when it is locked on a vice, the force got no where to go BUT to the hop unit (which is connected to the slide stop) when the slide cycles. Hence the slide stop would jump up from the sheer recoil while on the vice, which is quite cool to see since we do not think a lot of pistols manage to do that!🤣
Unless im mistaken the silver steel co2 version Quad are reviewing is 1400 usd. RWA preinstall a recoil buffer that prevents slide lock back that you can remove to get the slide lock back feature.
I've shot both GHK and this 1911, and can say that the 1911 shoots harder than the GHK Glock with a steel slide. Gotta keep in mind that the GHK is on a plastic polymer frame so it allows it to feel heavier kicking than it autchally is. This agent 2 1911 is full steel, even the lower. So you would think it would even out the recoil but nope. Thing is a beast and recoils soo hard. Even started to hurt the webbing on my hand after shooting it for 3 mags 😅.
@@Duke_Airsoft I have another full steel 1911 developed by the same manufacturer with a non-steel blowback unit. It felt softer than the upgraded co2 ghk. But after I upgraded the 1911 with a volante stratos blowback unit it gives a comparable kick. I was wondering if the new thing uses a standard spec blowback unit and a standard spec nozzle. If this is the case then the heavy kick is an outcome of the slide weight, and the concentrated recoiling force enabled by the tight fitting machining.
Excellent video. I just got the black finish steel model today. Will removing the one buffer cause any damage or excessive wear . The slide doesn’t lock back with that buffer in it.

Mate we can't own real Glocks in the UK, or any real pistol for that matter. If I wanted something as real as possible (since I could never own the real thing), then this would be a good option.
After watching the video, I can say that I like the gun. That sight screw is a pretty unfortunate oversight but everything else is awesome. If only it could take an RMR. You guys should check out the ASG P-09 CO2 version too, it's another awesome CO2 pistol. The P-09OR can take an optic but that's also just like an afterthought, I don't understand why airsoft didn't catch up to the pistol optics, it would be more accessories to sell, so come on manufacturers!
@@user-fs8ju1gi1r I wouldn't put an RDS on an M1911A1 either but this is a modern stylized gun with litening cuts and forward serrations an fiber optic sights, the classic feeling is already gone.
@@sogerc1 for 1911 single stack put red dot on it is a little went out side of slide (or M9A3, the slide top is not flate enough), when in this kind i feel put red dot on it is weird. but for 2011 like double stack i think put rmr on it is match (the footprint of rmr and slide top wide is same or slide is bigger i think) and by the way if it's also can use marui soght parts on it i think is easy to buy a sight to rmr converter, but many kit like NOVA or other doesnt use same spec on the sight, so need more info on it.
@@Nebulosa-Cat Yeah, I have those adapters on two glocks, a USP9 and the P-09OR - which is also basically just an adapter put on in the factory. But those sit high and they don't have this integrated look. My only pistol replica that supports a red dot without an adapter is the TM FNX-45, it's the replica I trained with to use the RDS and only after that I bought the adapters for the glocks and the USP9, but not as cool as the FNX-45. So I made this deal with myself that as far as modern pistols go I'll only get one which is red dot compatible without an adapter. This was years ago and still not a lot of options unfortunately.

If you drop a $ 10.000 GBB pistol on a shelf, there will be an idiot that will buy it. It is just an OEM model rebranded and made of steel. I saw that model in many places like APS, KJW, Rossi (brazilian brand lauched a pistol called Redwings - it looks like the same base) And hey... steel is not a precious metal alloy... ok? OK? Its easily made and cheap. Just heavy and harder. You dont need a "full steel" pistol that performs like any other aluminum/zamak model paying 10x more unless you want to give your cash to another dude. Airsoft world is already full of scams and shitty brands. We don't need a "premium" version of another scam. 1200 dollars for a display ornament? Ok. It is your cash. But is dumb.

well, hard steel is much harder then 7075 to cnc, so it mean it cost more time to made it. and acually this pistol is not that expensive, for those kit made from NOVA (mainly aluminum kit ) or Mafiso (mainly steel) , they also cost same if you build one ( i mean 1911, if glock or p320 the price is differ), marui 1911 cost 150~200usd, those trigger, safty, barrel, spring guid... etc almost each part cost 30~50 usd for NOVA, and the slide and grip kit usually cost 400 usd above, when it total plus up its around 1000~1200 usd ( doesnt include the cost if you need someone put them together) my 1911 is hand build form new marui plastic pistol and full Guarder parts (aluminum slide and grip, other is full metal) still cost around 450 ~ 550usd in taiwan (Guarder is taiwan brand and make mid class marui parts, so it cheaper then nova) full steel at most time will have lower performs then aluminum or zamak, the reason everyone love it is because the real gun is make like that, we want a real fire arm clone not a cheap zamak toy. not every country can own real fire arm unless you are a lucky boy born in usa, if not the airsoft gun is the most close thing you can have -- japan even only plastic pistol only. we hate zamak because it suck and not durable, we love 6061 and 7075 because they durable and performance is good, we love steel to because it is closest to real gun and it is legal so we can have it and have fun when play airsoft.
