- The Isla del encantado-Island of Enchantment is known for its rich culture, food and salsa music! Check out our latest video on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico featuring native Puerto Rican and Public Affairs intern Natasha Gisela! #PR #PuertoRico

Muchas cosas equivocadas:
I miss my home I want to go back to Puerto Rico
Interesting that when she mentions the diferent cultures that influenced the food in Puerto Rico the producers forgot to include the African and the Aboriginal Taino, may be they never had Gandinga con cassava. Nevertheless I give it a thumb up.
Arquimides Morales she's a crackpot the Dutch the British the French were never in Puerto Rico they got their ass kicked by the Spaniards check out the battle between my Spanish ancestors against the British Empire in 1791
@@wolfthegreatalpha4732 i think she means people from those places moved to the island
Arquimides Morales yeah very plain and euro-Anglo-US angled view of PR
Thanks, I used it with my 1st graders for Hispanic month.
Im sorry you used this video on them first graders as there are a lot of misinformation on this video.
That wasn't "arroz con habichuelas". That was arroz con gandules.
Word! She sometimes called Borinquen?!? It’s ALWAYS been known as Borinquen. We are the land of The Brave and Valiant lord!
I LOVE crash boat beach, I scraped my shin on coral while snorkeling there though.
Ailex Mercer there's NO coral there LOL 😁 you mean the cement pillars or some rocks or something
Good for you
Muy Bonita!! :)
lol my spanish teacher showed us this. cool video!
Isla del encantado-Island
Aguadilla is I believe where dad dad grew up.
I can't believe you mentioned Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Rita Moreno - but not Jose Feliciano!
Your extremely gorgeous 😍
A que le doy!! Arroz con Abichuela is Rice with beens.
who else had this for Spanish class
People , please understand that Puerto Rico was not discovered , it was invaded by Cristobal Colon . There were people already living there which were the Tainos and were enslaved killed and rob of their gold and life with their families .
Some facts are incorrect . NO es la Isla del Encantado , ni Borincuen... Lo correcto es, isla del encanto y Borinquen. Also, pigeon peas is NOT arroz con habichuelas is arroz con gandules and the genre of the Salsa is from Cuba NOT from PR. La Bomba y la Plena are from PR.
Jennifer lopez 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
statehood 2021 :)
+Random History (United States) Statehood is the dumbest economic decision ever.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day for reading my completely unnecessarily long username - PR for statehood.
Doris Perez Puerto Rico for independence.
NO THANK YOU. WHY SETTLE FOR A STATE WHEN I CAN HAVE MY OWN COUNTRY
@@OfficialFireDragon do you have a better solution ?????
sadly it also a us commonwealth since 1952' not a us territory which is way less than a commonwealth and as for the 2' us citizenship's that made far too many us citizens , we never asked for the dubious distinction and again
" Hell No to the 51'st "
As a Cuban/Dominican I will have to say that Salsa did *NOT* originate in Puerto Rico it originated in Cubs
Cuba*
joey M ok then, la bachata nacio en PR. eso es as musica campesina de PR y los dominicanos lo saben
Jose Caraballo get your head out your ass.Bachata originated in the rural areas of D.R
Same thing with Salsa it originated from Cuba in Santiago de Cuba
@@joeymedina5659 HES MAKIN A POINT FELLA!!! CUBA WAS STARTIN THE MUSIC BUT IT DID NOT MAKE IT. At the 1930s 40s and 50s Salsa was famous by Son and Mambo which was basically the first step of the salsa music genre but then we came along and we made it better and give it some more flavor to it and since a LOT of us imigrated to New York,we then made the genre famous as fuck
@@joey_dabuddy4279 I know that, but don't claim it as your own.plus Puerto Ricans do Salsa better
Love from 🇨🇺❤🇩🇴❤🇵🇷
She know nothing about Puerto Rico...Sad.
Arroz con que?!!! Eso no son abichuelas...son gandules! Que te pasa Nena?
