I watched this exact set live in Manchester, I was sat in the front row. Amazing performance. Knowing that this recording was taken in Liverpool, you have to tip your hat. Coogan made the right decision.
Just genius. Coogan has a right set of pins! And John Thompson as Bernard Righton, brilliant. Love Duncan Thickett. Genius. His Man Who Thinks He’s It show is excellent as well, saw it twice in 1998.
Two of just of the funniest lines from the Paul Calf diaries was when Spirros tells him, Paul, your Pauline in bed is like a big drill, a big Black an Decker, GRRRRRR, she wants to do it again an again, hahaha... Or you can't buy class, hey Paul where did you get your headlights from, halfords ! hahaha....
@@fredzep01 I was trying to agree. It's one of those lost in speech to text kind of things. I considered myself a fan of standup and had never seen these acts. Here in America we don't travel much farther than Ontario for foreign entertainment.... this is gold. New comedians are not filling shoes fast enough
