    I am so so happy, because me not being able to say any words right with ‘r’ in it gave me severe social anxiety, so bad that I had to be homeschooled because I couldn’t stand talking to people. I used to dodge words that had an r in it, resulting in me sounding strange and foreign. This helps SO much and I know it’s old but THANK YOU!

    Hi Rachel!
    I want to ask you a simple question: Do you have the guts to do a video on how to pronounce the word there. I´ve got some problems with it in american english pronuciation. I can do it perfectly in a british accent and I figured: wouldn´t it keep the theme of this video if you made a video on how to make the r sound smooth in the word there?

    hi Rachel, l have a question what difference between get away & get out??

    • @rachelsenglish
      @rachelsenglish  9 років тому +8

      +sebastian alegria Get away can be used to talk about move away from something (used with 'from'): you (get away from me!), or an object (get away from the furnace, it's about to explode!). Get out means to remove yourself from a space: get out of the house, get out of your room, get out of the car.
