This band honors and respects its past in ways that other bands dont. They command huge respect for the people they are for the road they have walked. A band like no other
I saw Skynyrd in 1977 in Asbury Park and I won't make comparisons because it's not fair. I'm Just glad that people still dig it, the music has stood the test of time. One of the Great Bands !
I love when people say it's not the original but can't name the actual ORIGINAL band...or johnny don't sound like Ronnie...who knows what Ronnie would sound like after 30 or 40 more years of singing.. might sound exactly like johnny does now
No this isn't the original, but the original isn't an option anymore. Everyone on that stage would prefer Ronnie, Allen, Steve, Billy and Leon to be there, but that's obvious impossible. Also, to call this a tribute band is a slap in the face to Gary Rossington in my opinion. Be glad they're still making enjoyable music. I know I am.
I'm so tired of people talking about the original and most people dont know who the fuckin original are...please say Atticus Pyle or Steve Gaines...even Leon...there have been over 30 members of this band and they are still rockin... I'll give you Ronnie and Gary but there have been so many others just enjoy the music
@@danshaffer9549 Plus the lead singer is Johnny Ronnie’s little brother. He’s very talented in his own right. And you have Ricky Medlocke who helped record many of the songs of the first album. The leader of Blackfoot.
I loved the idea of using Ronnies vocals on the studio version with Johnny but it feels wrong to detune Ronnies original vocals to fit with the band playing the song live. Its a half step lower than the studio version and half step lower than the original live vocal Ronnie did. Its kinda weird to me. Still a great song.
Well that was aright for a cover band I guess I wouldn't pay to see them, No matter how hard they try they will never compare to the original Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Thank you Johnny for helping to keep the music alive.
Ill never forget seeing then two sing together on tour singing together
Don't forget about Ed King's great effort ! For without whom, Sweet Home Alabama wouldn't be! God rest your soul brother!
Ronnie was a genius, he had to leave this world early in his life ! Johnny came along and finished the job ! I love them both
Ronnie once said, that Johnny has the best voice of all of the three brothers
Ronnie and his brother are like the same, spread the legacy :)
One of them "Forever Bands".... They'll be here forever.. Keep rocking guys!
This band honors and respects its past in ways that other bands dont. They command huge respect for the people they are for the road they have walked. A band like no other
Who else got goosebumps when Gary turned around to look at Ronnie when they had him up on the big screen?
+Zach Carlson eerie yet comforting
Not only goosebumps...😢
@@jacobpearson3916 Donnie Van Zant is still living knucklehead
They ain’t the original. Nowhere near it. But they keep the Skynyrd spirit alive. Johnny is making Ronnie very happy by carrying on the Skynyrd Legacy
Nowhere near the original band.
i wish Leon Wilkinson was still around. He was a great bassist
Same. Hearing this opening it’s not even close to how he did it

Same here, worked the show as a stagehand. Street Survivors Tour.
Best band, all over the world! Lynyrd forever!
So sad that they are gonna quit, wish you all the best and thanks for all that great music you all gave us! A big fan from the Netherlands.
Still love Ronnie all ways and forever Lynyrd skynyrd will never die
I from Monroe La. and saw Ronnie and the band so many times before the horrible plane crash. I love this video and tribute to Ronnie and the duet..
Lynyrd Skynyrd never give up, and they are a great example to anyone in that, big respect to these men.

SKYNYRD!!!
Donnie your good good songwriter
Am 66 years old love your music
Gotta say Johnny's sounding pretty damn good!
LilKronk92 --- rerecorded alot of stuff here...this is just barely "live". All overdubbed every where....
Nick Carpenter he still sounds really good live
Man… when Ronnie was on the screen.. so damn cool
Killer Virson Great band

There are SO many post-production overdubs goin' on here that it can BARELY classify as a "LIVE" recording.
Nick Carpenter no not really. There’s some footage taken from the crowd, sounds almost the same, except for phone audio. So I disagree
Just sounds really fucking polished, over polished. It's rock n roll for fucks sake.
Also its weird hearing it a half step down from the 97 recording. They detuned Ronnies vocals a half step
Live Loud
There’s a weird tuner on the vocal which is really bothering me.
Good start.... bass,
Not bad i like that one more for the fans nice great title hah hah hah sn it is

Artimus should have been invited to drum for this.
cant get my videos to play
Gary Rossingtons tribute band!
This is the weakest performance of the set.
Kollo Supias ya gotta admit, they sound pretty damn good tho
This should've been Built around BASS. Only song Leon wrote.
Its 838
The video has been fucked with. They never sound like this. Slooooooow mooooooode !!
Well that was aright for a cover band I guess I wouldn't pay to see them, No matter how hard they try they will never compare to the original Lynyrd Skynyrd.
They arent trying to be the original band
Not Lynyrd Skynyrd
Sorry, This is not Skynyrd.
Doesnt hold a candle to ronnie
He’s still great tho
this is not lynyrd skynyrd
This was the weakest performance of that night. Unfortunately. This Skynyrd number 37 just is not right. Boring.
This absolutely sux
Sorry to say but this is the weakest performance of the night.
They dont hold a candle to the real thing
Nicky Glynos If they added Artemus Pyle and original bassist Larry Junstrum it would be much closer to the original.
What band is this? It sure as shit ain't Skynyrd and is that Vince Neil fronting the band? All you can eat Buffet belly on that boy!
