The Most Haunted, Abandoned Church in the UK, Viewed Via Drone: Skidbrooke Church In Lincolnshire.

- The isolated, abandoned church has allegedly had many dealings with Sataniic groups over the past few decades. Because of this Skidbrooke has been the subject of much publicity due to reports of paranormal activity at the church. Several ghosthunters have reported unusual goings-on at the building, and the church was nicknamed ‘the Demon church’ after it became popular with the Satanist groups of 1970’s and 1980’s.
In 2004, St. Botolph’s church was in the news for having been the place where animal sacrifices had taken place, and satanic graffiti had been found on the walls.
Visitors have reported seeing a ghostly monk on the site, seeing odd lights and hearing sounds of storms in calm weather, and hearing strange, unexplained noises at night.
Whatever it's past may be, it's a beautiful building that is still open to the public but with the aid of a drone you can see more that you normally would from ground-level.
A lovely old church, please treat it with respect if you visit.

I have always associated Skidrook church, with fond memories of being a child and visiting the church near to were friends used to live. Even back in the 80's and 90's it was a place of hauntings and Satanist dealings. I do remember once visiting and trying not to walk in the circles and triagnles chalked out on the floor. I was warned that these markings were something to do with the Satanic cult and brought bad luck!! Probably why I fell off my bike on the ride back to my friends.! It was also always rumoured that there was a tunnel that led to the Dungeons under the New Inn. I've never really heard anymore about the rumor. If anything a shame the Church has been left to be vandalized. Even the Santanised kept looked after it to some extent.
I had heard These rumours too! was a fantastic place to shoot, Deffo one to remember!
