From other videos, a lot of people use 1 liner for sweet dishes and 1 for savory, as the silicone sometimes takes on odors over time from cooking in them. I haven't used my Omnia enough yet to have that be an issue.
The rack is n aftermarket addition, meant to keep from burning the bottom of the casserole. Doesn't come with the Omnia, my wife tells me. Probably not strictly necessary, but Helen says she uses the rack all the time, like for cakes and brownies, and they don't get burned.
@@helaciousadventures I got that, and use one, but the silicone is fitted to go into the oven directly with no rack, so I was confused. Basically I guess to get the bottom off the oven?
