Thanks guys!😊❤ I live in a community where He is criticized and Chrostianity is often shunned and mocked and sins are often what is 'popular', and living here can be hard sometimes. But then I get home and see this kind of thing and it reminds me that He is always in control!❤❤ Thanks!

I think one of the biggest things I struggle with is finding joy and fun in my walk with God. Before I came to grips with His truth and chose walking with Him, I thought alot of things were fun or funny that God normally wouldn't think was. Like a dirty joke, explicit comedy or getting drunk and living it up. Now all the things I thought were humorous once, I feel the spirit convicting me. Which is good, but now I'm in this sort of limbo period where I don't know what makes me feel joy and fun with God yet. I think maybe that's something I should pray to God about.. Finding fun in being a believer!
I think that's where doing works of God come in. Joining community work, a church, sharing your testimony with others. For me, the true Joy comes from the feeling of pure I love that I once sought in a partner for, I feel all the time. I can be alone, or with my spouse. My heart swells and this is coming from someone who was once suicidal. Jesus saved me. No doubt.
I’m in a similar place. Things that I used to think were childlike such as video games seem now more like obstacles. I am kind of thinking a life devoted to Christ might look like sorrowful repentance until death. No phone. No jokes. Just repentance like deep mourning sorrowful repentance. I’m thinking if you can afford nice clothes, you’d better give that money to the poor until you’re in rags. Sounds extreme… but I think it’s supposed to be. I’m not really sure our wealth on earth is to be kept. He may be blessing us to see what we do with it.

This is exactly what I try to tell people. The Christian life is about joy and freedom, not only about sacrifice. I mean just reading the Bible you can see this in so many of the stories. God is a God of humor and laughter. I think a lot of times we forget that God is literally the Creator of joy. With Him there is always joy!! Everything good comes from Him!
I want to throw in a bonus tip. Your eye is a window to your soul. You listen to a song/watch a show about drugs sex and crime, you best expect to have a bad day. If however you start the day off with Christian music/shows or at least appropriate happy ones, you’re off to a great start, baby! Praise Jesus!
I have some questions, I have ocd and anxiety and religious trauma syndrome. How much are we to do to not be lukewarm Christians and also how to we not become obsessed with legalism. Can I be silly and do all things with gratitude towards God? Can I explore the world or take care of my body and show self love? I have so many questions. 🙏❤️ also can I make art or do things that bring me joy and share it with others? I am consumed with not wanting to go to hell and the more I learn the more I feel scared and unsure
You can do anything as long as it's not a sin. And if you sin, if your faith is in Jesus, he will forgive you and you'll go to heaven. Heaven is not full of perfect, flawless, sinless people, it's full of imperfect people who have *Repented and Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.* so if your faith is in Jesus, you'll go to heaven. However, we should still try to sin as little as possible. And of course you can do art! And of course you can do things that bring you joy, as long as they are not sinful. God bless ❤ Edit: spelling
God loves festivals. Back in moses' day that had festivals all the time. Good and clean fun is absolutely okay. You don't have to do drugs and get drunk JUST to have fun. I feel like a lot of people don't realize this.
