      I don't think those period tracking apps are good to use. It's really invasive when it comes down to all kinds of crap they can do ans hack with technology tbh. But you do you, I wasn't trying to sound shitry at all btw ❤ I just have a strong mistrust for much of tech they push to ppl now a days mostly. Like Alexa for example ans ahit like that-no thanks. I bet they'll be using our grocery store loyalty/discount cards to influence our insurance premiums and transplant list recipient eligibility etc in the future. 😂

      @oxysatlantic4126 Рік тому

      @@aleahamarrie6415 I use flo. And I think after using it for awhile, it becomes really accurate for some reason? I am extremely irregular with my cycle but my app can still tell me the exact day I start. It also tracks ovulation, and it helps with if you're trying to get pregnant/not pregnant, and other lil things like that. Personally I like it the best, but definitely do your own research to see what works for you! :))

    • @oxysatlantic4126

      @@karivitou2816I totally understand where you're coming from!! I understand perspective of being a lil paranoid over your information, and with how it is nowadays? As you should! 👏 I definitely am protective over my info, but personally, this is the only way I can stop ruining my clothes/sheets 😂😭 And I could learn all the detail about the menstrual cycle, and write it on a paper calendar but to me, convience is key 👌Having 3 surprise periods in one month is no bueno.

    This entire video was so eye-opening and insightful! I love that last bit at the end, “people depend on you being oblivious.
    People depend on you not knowing your rights, not knowing what you’re signing, just being oblivious- they love it when you’re oblivious-it’s easy to steal from you, persuade you, take advantage of you.”
    What I took away from this video is that you must learn to advocate for yourself.❤️

      I feel you on it when I was going to school. I used to always make sure I was put together anyway, I look presentable even though we were wearing uniforms and everybody looked the same but I genuinely liked looking put together and I still do like that it’s just nowadays it’s hard to do it, and my choice of where doesn’t even coincide with what I want to look like and where I met in life now and it’s extremely hard to get to that point and your retro to coincide and where you are in life like the person I want to be is this person that is always together that’s always put together and I’m looking for that soft girl living with a touch of professional wear what are also a little bit of lounge and preppy I think some people forget that presentation matters like you said, even though it shouldn’t, it really does matter you how you look how you present yourself plays a big part on how people treat you in this world

When I started shopping for my car a few years back the fresno Audi sales reps didn’t acknowledge me or bother to greet me when I was shopping. Girl!! I had my daughter on my 17th b day. Although i was young i matured very quickly bc i had no choice. When she was 2 i noticed she had a speech delay so i went to get her evaluated. Now i was 19 but i but i literally looked 12 lol. So the first speech therapist they sent me to was very dismissive. I had 1000 questions with a pad to take down what i should be doing at home in conjunction to the therapy. She was short with me didn't want to explain anything thoroughly and was overall an asshole. It was clear she thought bc i was young i wasn't intelligent or didn't care. I said to her verbatim "I know i'm young but i am her mother and i would appreciate if you would treat me as such. I would like for you to be very detailed in your responses so we can work together to get my baby where she needs to be. The manner in which you have been discussing this with me thus far has been completely unacceptable. If you have an issue i will take her to someone else and report you for your incompetence." She stared at me for a moment and completely changed her tone and attitude but she never apologized. She became very detailed in her responses and was overall professional and helpful. I still took her to someone else anyway bc i will absolutely not be leaving my baby with you 😤. After then i started learning to do make up bc her teachers treated me the same way and i was tired of putting every single person in their place before getting respect lol

That was truely exhausting. She's 26 now and she is having the same problem bc she looks so young. She doesn't have kids tho luckily so it isn't as important as it was for me. She just ignores it as long as her business gets handled.

    Need more of this! I come from single parent home w my mom and I see how she does it too. She's very charming when she's interacting w ppl! I'm glad to have been able to witness that and to hear that this is like a universal guide for women

    Dealership service centers are awful. I had a recent experience with one too. The service advisor girl who worked at the dealership I went to, kept changing her stories. I know she was after my money. 😤

    I had a rental car place that was supposed to be free for the issues with my brand new car. They charged me and NEVER paid me back.

    GURL YES! there is always someone higher up. i had to call corporate for a dealership bc they wouldn’t return MY cash deposit when i specifically told them, i will be back the following day to retrieve it if my bank does NOT approve the loan. & they tried keeping it for a few days saying they already deposited the cash but i literally left at closing time and was there the following morning

    For this reasons it’s why I decided to go to school for automotive, now I been working in mechanic shops for about 2+ years and every time a women walks in the shop they feel more confident having a girl helping them and explaining to then what’s going on with their vehicle.

    SO ridiculous of you to expect the employee to alert you of a warranty which includes fixing a recalled piece which could kill or harm you and/or others on the road!! Maybe they’d like a lawsuit instead?
