They don't teach this sh*t in school and they need to! Don't get caught slipping. Nobody should know more about your business than you do. SO where do you bank? I refuse to do small banks bc they barely have little to no customer service and services are significantly delayed.

The way I would’ve pulled my money out of that bank so fast! 💸 I have heard terrible things about them anyway. But this is why I keep track of every single expense on my phone, even the ones on auto pay. It is extremely tedious but my Type A self couldn’t have it any other way 😅

Ugh, I can feel the frustration you were experiencing. It's annoying when you have to retell the situation several times because you're bouncing from one person to the next across several departments. Like you think it's a simple fix, but instead they're trying to pin their ineptness on you. In addition, it be feeling like the crap is neverending.
Heavy on the memory loss after a baby. Forgot to put money in my account for the renters insurance and missed an interview while just being a mom 😂😂 glad i have a partner

Honestly ive just graduated from uni this week-end and I feel really overwhelmed and loved. I’ve been crying so much for the past few days and seeing this video made me realize that I first started watching you at 15 and now I’m 22. I worked for the Wells Fargo Credit Card department! I quit within 2 months. During training they mostly taught us how to give customers empathy and how to talk rather than actually learning the tasks at hand, then threw us out on the phones with barely any guidance. In the memos it should've showed the employee why the transaction declined. Fraud usually leaves codes in the notes.
WSFS, Wells Fargo, Chase all have shit reputations. I dont deal with any of them.

It’s a shame we have to really keep our foot on the necks of customer service agents sometimes. Like if you just accept whatever they say you would be footing so much extra money and excusing so much bad service.
I work at a Credit Union my position at the bank that I work at is an “MSR2” member service representative. I have NEVER heard of this happening before. That is crazy. Normally if it’s a banking error which in your case it was your banks fault. The bank has to fix it and give you a refund without any kind of a hassle.
It sounds like your bank tried to pull a fast one on you and just take that money back thinking you weren’t going to notice or pay attention. I hear all kinds of banking stories and this one was a first that I hear about auto pay or bill pay issues. So thank you for sharing this.

I left Wells Fargo a long time ago. They were charging fees for everything. Then they got defensive when I was closing my account with them.

Wells Fargo is the worst. I had to close my account with them awhile ago.
This is why I can’t do auto pay on anything. I’m too much of a control freak. Also, ALWAYS get a confirmation number and record it, when you pay any bill!

This reminded me of when I was looking at my college funds account. I was random checking it and did not recognize a name. I had to call and had to tell them point blank that they sent the funds to someone living somewhere nowhere I live (like they lived across the country). They immediately changed it.

Girl… having to rely on other people to do their job correctly / monitor for errors is truly horrible. I’ve been going back and forth SINCE JANUARY because a lab that my medical tests were sent to never sent the bill to my insurance. They said they “tried multiple times” and got no response yet my insurance never heard from them and is usually very reliable. Myself and the insurance asked for this bill multiple times over the months and then it finally passed the insurance deadline. I filed an appeal but I bet I’ll still have to pay this $300 bill in full because the lab kept messing up.

Yep, I don't do autopay for anything. I even hate when streaming services automatically try to take money out. Always keep our cards locked down and my fiancé gets paid once a week so that kinda reminds us to check what bills are due each week, which is nice cause both our memories are awful lol

My mom has such a hard time because banks pull nonsense like this all the time, and she’s ESPECIALLY had a hard time with Wells Fargo. I get annoyed because of how often she’s switching banks but it’s because of how often these banks try to screw her over!

After recently leaving banking jobs, them saying they would not process due to a split second of funds not being available is total bs. Having autopay set up is like having overdraft on. Even if you have overdraft off, if you give the business your account and routing or have it set up through the bank app, you are giving them the permission to pull out that payment whether or not you have the funds. Whether they disclose information that off the bat or it’s in teeny tiny wording within the disclosures. That’s usually how autopay works..
I also worked at Smells Smargo and will never bank with them 😅
