Ive been using the mazda 3 liftback for a year plus ady. The torsion beam hate is nonsense. The car is perfectly fine. I was a rear passenger and let a friend drive instead as i was too tired to drive from Manjung to KL. Slept like a log the entire journey back. I might be biased but who cares when the car looks this good and drives like a dream.
Been using Mazda 3 liftback for 1year+ already. So far so good. I like that Mazda3 has memory seat & memory side mirror, heads up display, and sunroof. Memory seat and side mirror is very useful is you always share your car with spouse
@@gin.6770 after 3 to 4 years common problem faced by other car members: air cond compressor, engine mounting, suspension and steering noise and side mirror motor issue which warranty can solve. So far i am into year 3 so no issues apart from battery change twice.
I bought this car last year in October and I must say I am absolutely happy with it. It is literally the best value for money sedan that feels quite sporty and still comfortable. Yes the ride is a bit on the firmer side of things, but the genuine leather seats make it still comfortable. Mine is thankfully a manual and I think as a manual it shifts better and has a better fuel economy. I don't understand why Mazda Malaysia isn't offering a manual since it's really a driver's car and the best pick if you want to have a great car to drive but can only have one car.
Haven't had any issues with the torsion beam. Mazda has perfected this in a way without even knowing it has one. I like the sedan much better than the hatchback. Less blind spots too.

I have this car in soul crystal red, 2.5L version. Best car ive ever owned, it carves corners so good and the power is very adequate. The 2.5L Turbo version must be even more fun to drive, I do wish I had that version lol

Uncle YS big fan of your work! We have a mazda 3 dynamic 2021 model hatchback. Which tyres would you recommend between Bridgestone and Goodyear considering that It our daily drive.
You must be from Singapore. Only Singapore hv the hybrid 1.5. In SG, we always spot only M3 sedan on the road as the hatchback only available in Astina but the price is crazy.
This car is really just good for the driver. The other seats aren't comfortable at all, especially on city roads & feels crashy on bad pavements. The ride quality isn't as balanced & plush compared to the Civic’s multilink & Corolla’s double wishbone. Current 3 setup is not as good as multi-link, but it's impressive for torsion beam provided the road is smooth. Long distance travel is one hell of a ride for the rear passenger and it’s even worse if you’re tall. Plus, I know a 3 Mazda 3 owners who start having mounting issues. It's a big letdown, especially since it's imported from Japan. Also it’s way too overpriced, bermaz is too greedy for this.
Few years back, yes mazda car is hard to ignored. The design is beautiful. But, until today, not much changes. Mazda is too stingy & arrogant. With many EV & PHEV coming to malaysia, lots of choice for a car under 150k. Next year the competition will be more crazy. Sorry to say, bye bye mazda.
Yes Mazda is very conservative as they only target customer who truly appreciate real drivers car. There is absolute no soul with EV cars, it is like a smartwatch with no mechanical watch movement. i agree mazda is a drivers car. we should be thankful there is an affordable manufacturer that actually cares what a car drivers like,a ev might as well be a soulless kia. i agree it might not be enough to attract mainstream attention so they either have no choice but to go up market or dumb the product down, however at the moment they represent a tremendous value with quite well thought out interior and driving dynamics that outclass some cars that cost 10k more.
