As a non-Malayalee, my ability to judge the lyrics is rather limited. So I can only take other people's word for it regarding Balu R. Nair's work. As for the music, I think this is a really good composition. I believe this Gopan Swarathraya is an asset to the world of Malayalam music: one of several talented, devoted music directors that has helped to make Malayalam music what it is. I wouldn't say he's the most original or experimental composer, but he has composed more than one song that I could call a favorite.
