I too love the apron and the split toe, but am not crazy about the lacing flaps and bulkiness of typical derby/blucher shoes. I have three FitzPatricks I want to get in the bear future. We’ll see how they measure up to Allen Edmonds, To Boots and Carminas.
If it was not for Justin/ Shoe Snob, I wouldn't gotten into the shoe game . And , Kirby you did a wonderful job by showing us how to take care of our shoes . Thanks to both of you .
Love the Fitzpatrick brand! Have a wonderful pair of single monk straps (Fauntleroy) which I wear at least once a week, 2 years now still going strong. Planning on getting the brown toe cap oxfords, and hopefully one day a pair of his button boots!
Hi. I have a question. Because of the climate in my region, I use winter boots only in winter months (dec - Feb) and demi-season in autumn and spring (march-may, sept - nov) and very rare in summer. In other time my shoes are in a carton box. Before leaving it in a box I conditioner it and creaming with a little bit of wax. But when I take it from the box after several months of keeping, should I cream it?
Traditionally the planer the shoe the more formal it is, opra pumps, plain oxford whole cut and a toe cap oxford without brogue to give example. But I really understand what he means, some shoes with a medallion feel just right with a navy suit in the city, but a little to much to go with your chinos or jeans for a trip to a friends place to watch the football.
Aparentemente todos os modelos foram feitos sobre a mesma forma. Nota-se, portanto que as possibilidades de uma única forma são muitas. São todos extremamente bonitos e de muito bom gosto. Fiz minha inscrição agora.
Hi Kirby Great video - your content is one of the main reasons for my recent upgrade into quality dress shoes. I’m curious of your thoughts on how a pair of J. Fitzpatrick shoes compare to AEs and other mid, to upper mid level dress shoes. I think it would be great if you could do a video of the top 5 dress shoes in the under $600 price range.
Hi Kirby - I was emailing j.fitzpatrick all day about placing an order. Then I just had a question and called them, and Justin himself, answered the phone, and took 20 minutes to walk me through the different models, patinas, and sizing. Truly an awesome guy - looking forward to the new addition to my collection!
Good day Kirby, i am Chris by name, been making shoes since 1987, You have been an inspiration to me, would like you to introduce me to a master in the art for a further training. Thanks
i think the slipper/shoe is interesting, the rest is all rather naff - i'd still prefer people invest their passion into proper shoes rather than sneakers
He is selling "£150-200 shoes (if you look at materials and labour - which are all from Spanish factories) at £400-500. Objectively they are not bad shoes, but he is trying to sell them in line with high end, traditional English shoes which are much more labour and capital intensive to produce. In the end, it is the consumer being ripped off by an insanely inflated margin.
Ok, the Apron Wholecut Oxford (5:50) is absolute genius. Depending on the color you choose, you could wear them to just about any occasion.

That first mesh is beyond beautiful. Great line Justin.
Definitely one of the best young and exciting shoe brands in London!
Really love seeing a great creator featured. Gives me hope as a shoe maker that there are such great companies out there to work for.
Really like the loafers in this video, looking forward checking out J. Fitzpatrick Footwear
Nice shoes, but the show stealer is your suit, Kirby! Wonderful fit and color! Who’s the tailor?
That braided wingtip from the beginning is both beautiful and creative.
I like this guy. I appreciate his story and the way he thinks.
He makes some bad ass dress boots too
Awesome shoes. Oh this company needs a shop in Atlanta Ga. Bring shoe fashion to the South.
Nice attention to detail

Justin has some really unique and refreshing designs!
The shoe snob has excellent guides and models! Definitely a beginner friendly site, all the way up to the enthusiast.

Great review. Are the Chelsea boots from J. Fitzpatrick boots recaftable?
I love my tony shoes, I wear those more than any other shoe
Is there a schedule for this trunk show? I would like to know if there will be a visit near me. Thanks!
His MTO order is great. I have a pair of MTO Issaquah loafer on the way.
Very friendly guy

Great looking shoes, great video. What's the price range?
A little under Allen Edmonds and a little more than Carlos Santos -- varies based on whether you're buying a boot or an oxford/loafer
4:37 wow did that orange turn to pink then red
I would have thought a medallion makes a shoe less dressy, not more.

Don't like any of those but I know that he makes a nice looking button boot.

David Levin J. FitzPatrick >> AE (for sure)
Carmina another brand to look at on the sub-$600 range.
