Cluster munitions' initial warhead now triggers on a timer/on impact, instead of detonating based on proximity. The submunitions explode on impact, meaning shooting straight upwards will rain submunitions around you. This results in a shorter effective range but a lower chance of misfire and higher chance of missing the rocket.
So does the Arc Thrower. I’ve noticed all of the illuminate forces are extremely vulnerable to electrical weapons, it stuns them for long periods of time.

@@thonking7193 The bomblets of the airburst cluster bomb also fly out in a uniform shape that detonate only on impact. i found you can fire it above enemys and use it to rain down concentrated explosions (you can adjust the height to choose how concentrated or spread it is!)

Airburst Rocket Launcher Tip: when set to Cluster mode, you can aim directly above yourself, fire and be perfectly safe. The rounds spread so far at great heights that it creates a safezone for you. Just be mindful of your teammates and your turrets.
Gas grenades should not destroy spawns in the way it is protrayed, i think it should dissolve them🪲 or turn them down 🤖 and leave lingering gas effect around. Not exactly start an explosion 🤔
The gas is highly corrosive, it could easily cause explosions if it got inside delicate machinery or collapse a burrow by dissolving the organic support.

But it's a melee attack! No, it's a normal attack with a melee weapon, you don't get the bonus. You must do a melee attack with the melee weapon. See it makes complete sense.

That always seemed like an oversight. Why bother having 1 type that requires fiddling with a console and another that can be plinked from half a mile away.
Try the tenderizer against the illuminate, or the purifier, they both absolutely slap, sadly im bad at the game and cant use the purifier well so i am a bit inconsistent.
Correction: Airburst Rocket always had “Flak” projectiles. The “Cluster” munition is new and doesn’t trigger based on proximity but on a timer.

They've been too busy ragdolling every landing since the latest patch
The chemical armor should give a resistance to terminids bile attacks the same way the fire armor gives a resistance to hulk flamethrowers
bile damage is explosive , if you want that resistances use fortify armor
They did a really good job at making the city environments look completely lifeless and unnatural...really adds to the theme.

Impact grenades work the best. I've never had the problem of finicky explosions
peak physique passive only works if you press your mele key. if you just primary fire with a mele weapon it wont count the bonus 100% damage

The Orbital Gas Strike hits with the same force as the Orbital Precision Strike, so the round itself can kill anything that the round of the OPS can.
