Hey brother, get yourself a spray water bottle and a fine brush so you don't do further damage to any coins you find. Their collector value can deteriorate fairly rapidly as you add surface defects. Not too critical for most pennies, but for fine or better silver the gradients can be critical depending on the year, date, and denomination. Nice video and beautiful old courthouse.
I keep telling all these clowns the same thing. I don't care about these people but I'd hate to see them find something really rare and historical and then "sandblast" it with their gritty fingers.
oh my goodness I absolutely love this building, and the quirky painted clocks ,great history surrounds that court house for sure, and what a sweet little ring ,fabulous find.
mental detecting That ring was just a solid nickel hit. Any machine would have hit it. Lucky for me either they missed it or was running high discrimination. Either way it's mine! Thanks for watching!
wow, nice ring, I like that old court house, we got an old abandoned court house from 1900's here in corpus Christi, Texas. but it's fenced n locked. I wish I could get permission to detect it. I find most of my coins under trees. I enjoyed ur video.
If you can find the owner you might be able to get inside? In the afternoon hunting large trees I'll hunt the shadow area of the trees. On a hot sunny day this is where people would be to get away from the sun. Thanks for watching my vids!!
mowerdog That's a massive building and it does make me wonder how someone who works at the courthouse, was able to afford to buy it, unless she got a real bargain. Our old courthouse is still owned by the county, and is a historic building, and is still in use as offices for the county, and they have had problems with having the funds to maintain it. Anyway, nice place to hunt.
I thought the only reason a property is sold on the Courthouse steps was for back taxes? Maybe they simply bought it from the County and not on the steps? It is a massive building for sure.
mowerdog Did she not buy it from the county? So the county didn't pay the real estate taxes on it? Just seems weird, but a neat building. GL on your next hunt there.
I've got a Bounty Hunter Pioneer EX, nothing as sofisticated as these detectors, but it does a good enough job for the random usage I have for it. I think it's only got a 6.5" maximum depth though.
Nice video. I start detecting as soon as I get a pointer. I tried without one and it's so frustrating....plus I'm new at this and haven't got a clue. Oh well. Happy hunting.
Great ring find. Gorgeous building!!!! I absolutely look forward to your going inside. I'm a new subscriber, and look forward to that video, if ever possible. :)
Be nice and dressed good when you ask. Just keep it simple. Like "This is a cool house you have!" My hobby is metal detecting. Would you mind if I scan your yard with my detector?
I know where this is at. I've been inside that courthouse to pay my personal property taxes. It's in the county I live in. But I won't let your secret outta the bag
I would love to be the woman who bought that property. That building is gorgeous and I would love to see it be renovated.
I hope to get back there soon. Maybe I can make a video of the inside! Thanks for commenting Tanya!

Very cool...I like that you got a little information on the place before you detect the property!
Kitty Murphy Thanks for coming along with me!

mental detecting That ring was just a solid nickel hit. Any machine would have hit it. Lucky for me either they missed it or was running high discrimination. Either way it's mine! Thanks for watching!

Maybe I'll talk to her and get some more details. Thanks!
Nice job on the GOLD! And what a cool courthouse
+Digging Australia Maybe the coolest and spookiest courthouse I've seen....
I've got a Bounty Hunter Pioneer EX, nothing as sofisticated as these detectors, but it does a good enough job for the random usage I have for it. I think it's only got a 6.5" maximum depth though.
+ALIENWarriorX It's all about having fun. It doesn't matter what you use...
Sweet looking ring. Congrats
Thanks a lot! I've been on a gold drought since last fall. I'm happy!
I am in the same gold drought.. LOL.
Keep after it! I found a silver ring 2 weeks ago. But man I like the color of GOLD! Keep swinging.
Nice video. I start detecting as soon as I get a pointer. I tried without one and it's so frustrating....plus I'm new at this and haven't got a clue. Oh well.
Happy hunting.
+Gary Loger I hunted almost 20 years without a pinpointer. But wouldn't leave home without one now.
That's an unusual ring for sure. Dead on pull tab signal.
JAD5822 I love finding rings! Thanks for watching!
SWEET FINDS ENJOYED

Paul Revere Thanks1
Nice Place to hunt.. Good luck!!
It's a fantastic site. I'll be going back in a week. Thanks for watching my video!
How strange. A few years ago I seen this same place hunted on UA-cam by a couple guys no kidding! Good luck anyway 👍
Really.... I would like to see that.. The owner did tell me that there had been trespassers detecting and was very happy I asked permission.
i wonder how much that ring must cost?
I'll bet in its time it would have been a lot. Thanks for watching.
Great ring find. Gorgeous building!!!! I absolutely look forward to your going inside. I'm a new subscriber, and look forward to that video, if ever possible. :)
+Mrs PenPal I hope to go back soon. Maybe I'll be able to go inside then?
That would be great!!
We will see?
You should find out if that court house has a cornerstone, it could have a time capsule in it
Hunter RedBlood I'll ask the owner but I didn't see one. It's possible the center original building had one but was covered up with the additions?
Nice find good for you
Thank you!
Nice vidéo ! and amazing find ! joe from france ! a real pleasure to follow you !!!!!
Thanks for the support Joe! I need to get back there soon.

Very nice finds congrats on the gold you are going back? Forrest GL & HH
You bet I'll be back. I just kind of skipped around looking for any hot spots. Lots of ground yet to hunt. Thanks for watching!
mowerdog
nice ring great building looks like a lot of ground to cover
Clay Dust It's a huge area. I'll be back do soon.
mowerdog I think two people doing grids each side would do the work a lot faster.
+Michael Mitchell Then I would only get half the finds! LOL. I do however like hunting with a friend.
what name brand hand trowel is that
+Matt Shaw Predator Raptor 31
engagement ring,yay im divorced, toss.lol
+Eric Floors LOL! Probably right!
Hey Kenny what kind of metal detector is that?
+Dale Catron Minelab etrac
Metal detectors are expensive. What is that red handheld detector like? Can it be used on its own? I see them on ebay for a pretty good price.
MudPucket It's just used for close range pinpointing of targets. I wouldn't use one for general hunting. Thanks for watching!
How do you ask permission to detect private property and do you offer to share your finds with the owner?
Be nice and dressed good when you ask. Just keep it simple. Like "This is a cool house you have!" My hobby is metal detecting. Would you mind if I scan your yard with my detector?
good luck
Nick Mad Thanks!
Nice ring.
Michael son Thanks a lot! Take care...
Not enough money for four clocks, so just painted it 7:59 :P Well at least it's right twice a day.
That's right! You would never be late for work using this clock!
nice find
Thank you for watching and commenting! I still need to get back there. Time gets away from me so fast..
Sweet!

Where is this at?
+Sunbabe Cali. It's in Missouri. Thanks for watching!!
+mowerdog yeah i heard Ozark when i was watching it and i was like woah! i know that place :)
+Sunbabe Cali. Are you from Missouri? if you do know where the location is don't post it. I don't want anyone messing up my permission. Thanks.
Oh no, trust me I'm not like that at all. I'm not from Missouri, I'm from Cali. I only came here because of Military. :)
+Sunbabe Cali. I understand. Take care!
That funny the clock looks real
It fooled me and I drove by this building several times before getting permission.
Maybe the gemstone to the ring is in the same hole you dug? (I subscribed)
+mdc You may be right? I should have scooped up some dirt and sifted it. My bad.
I know where this is at. I've been inside that courthouse to pay my personal property taxes. It's in the county I live in. But I won't let your secret outta the bag
+lxsolocam Thanks. I'm hoping to get back there in a couple of weeks if the weather is good....
