What you have is the last posessions of a person that was in Hospice Care or about to die. Meds of every kind for comfort. Colored pencils and crossword books as things to do when you’re trying to keep your mind occupied. Tons of clothes, new underwear and socks. Then some miscellaneous stuff that meant something to that person. I’m in Hospice Care and my room has a lot of similar things.
That’s just so incredibly sad.. to think someone’s story is just gone, especially someone from the great generation where they lived through the advent of plane travel and the internet..
Renee ! Thanks for sharing this with us all! Definitely let Taco stacks look through the cards ! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
No risk, no reward, Renée ! A great deal, that´s for sure ! And: don´t mind your hair, it looked perfect ! 👌 Greets from GER, U.

More likely something that will have to be sold in substantial lots for some small percentage of what each card might fetch if a buyer wanted to buy a single card. Listing each single card with suitable photos to demonstrate its condition would probably take over a decade to complete if you first quit your day job. Hope springs eternal. I can say there isn't a signed Babe Ruth tobacco card in among the piles and piles of cards. I once had to liquidate a huge inherited stamp collection. Choices were open up a stamp store and man it all week long, or bundle it in lots and auction it off. The decedent claims it was worth $400,000. It fetched $27,000 total at auction. Nobody ever mentions all the time it takes to market collectibles as singe items, especially cards and comic books.
@@mmmmmmmmmmm10 How does selling on eBay eliminate the work I described? Photographing 10,000 cards and listing them individually is a snap? This just makes me wonder why Storage unit places don't just have someone salaried or perhaps a person who goes around from business to business on commission to go through storage units after people have lapsed on payments Who helps them turn a profit on anything inside and clears the unit out quicker.
You do lift people's spirits through this channel. I'm glad you found a high-margin unit :). I don't know anything about baseball cards but even at $0.50 each you probably have a few hundred dollars there. From reading some other comments it might be a lot more than that. The cards look to be mostly from the 80s, and I'm clueless about the value. So some research will need to be done! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! History Behind the Paper should be out early in the week!
Great find! Those baseball cards are worth some money. Rolle was a notable player in his day. A bolt cutter will take care of that lock. Have fun with your yard sale!
I bought a unit couple weeks ago $5 and found a very rare 79 kawasaki motorcycle in the back and a commercial freezer that works. I will make over $6000 on the locker. It was my 1st one.
Congratulation! What a great little locker, And it was clean. No dirty stuff. You made you money back in hangers alone. LOL Please tell me you video taped TS when you showed him the baseball cards. I would have loved to seen his face.
If you find BLINKER FUILD send it to Florida....they never use em down here ,they maybe outta fluid😜.....WOW!!!!!! What a great unit, all for a whopping 5 bucks!!!!!!!!!!! ... They probably wanted to not lose the lock and just put it on there.....

Please be careful whom you take those cards too. There are a lot of people that will lie to you if you have something very valuable. A great unit for $5. All that brand new underwear, the usable totes, and the baseball cards are worth money. Even the toolbox can be sold. Take the used clothes to the flea market. Good for you. Tina, Al's wife

1973 A `s pitchers Rollie Fingers, Catfish Hunter, Vida Blue, Blue Moon Odum! What a staff of Aces along with Reggie Jackson in the outfield.

Roland Glen Fingers - yes, he was a real player, and quite a good one. Great name for a relief pitcher!
