Keeping hair used to freak me out. Sadly my daughter is terminally ill, and I will keep any little piece of her I can. No darkness though. She’s fighting hard, and laughs with us every day xx
Having seen all of the paraphenalia, my heart skipped a beat when powder came flying out of that one box. Had that been fentanyl, you'd be dead. You should probably wear a mask in any unit with paraphenalia. I bet you'll turn a good profit with those graded sports cards.
Versace, hair, sports cards, & a sock monkey...more of this please! I thoroughly enjoy your storage unit videos. Your commentary while sorting is priceless. You probably already know this, but I believe the shoes are the real deal. You definitely deserve a score after all the hard work that went into cleaning out this unit. I hope one day you come across a storage unit filled to the rafters with amazing vintage finds!
I bought a small $40 unit today that was a 5x5. but it was just a pile of Totes and bags and it all fit in my car. Fast pickup and cleanout.. Time is money too. Just started going thru it and found 5 or 6 pieces of Harley Davidson clothing so that made the money back already. Then I have to clean out a $20 5x5 tomorrow. Packed pretty full and about chest high. Could be almost anything hidden underneath. Won't be a quick load and go like the one today. And it will have SOME trash... maybe some treasure. Will get my $20 back...lots more time to sort.
I really liked what you found and wish I could do a storage unit, but I can't as I am too old, that is why I watch you. I always hope you find a good unit and I can share the unit with you. Thank you for sharing!
The cards are your jackpot! Even without knowing the brand or year, the fact that the person spent money to get them graded means something. 10/10 = perfect = $! Most Mickey Mantle cards, with a 6 grade = close to $1,000! You definitely made good money on those cards. You could possibly make EXTREMLY good money on those cards. Good luck!
How fun would it be if you pressed play on that little tape recorder 20:32 and a voice in the Saw voice says “Hello paper and moose, I want to play a game”
The game is, the door on the unit will close and you must escape using only the contents of the unit within one hour. If you do not a horde of drug crazed mice will be released…

I have a feeling they might have been in the business of stealing cellphones and purses! Good luck with the few treasures you found. Congratulations on the cell phone record!!
I have been looking forward to this video😗💯 "But wait, there's more!" Thank you, Renee, for sharing this locker unit with us Both videos of this haul were great🥰
Don’t second guess the Versace shoes, I googled them, some were listed as three hundred up to a thousand dollars! Crazy, hope you get the most you can! Sweet! ✌🏼❤️
Double check the foil in box, thought it looked like a wrapped ring? Thank you for not polluting water with all those pills. Hope the cards do well. Looking forward to trip to Walmart with you to cash in phones.
In the good old times, our local barber purchased long female hair and sold it directly to a doll & stuffed animals clinics where these old items were repaired. Anyways, the huge amount of cell phones makes this locker mysterious: property of a huge family, a phone nerd or even some criminal activities ?! We´ll probably never know. The graded baseball cards look interesting, normally only better items are being graded and slabbed. But it all depends on the grading company, some of them are not very trustworthy. In the coin business, NGC and PCGS got the best grading reputation. Hopefully these cards will be worth a pretty penny ! 🤞 And you will definitely get your money back with all these items, that´s for sure ! 👍 Greets from GER, U.
I learned quickly about what grading companies are seen as the ones you want to grade & the ones you want to buy from! The Jordan cards aren’t worth much, but maybe will get $10 or so. I was just excited to find them! Doll & stuffed animal “hospitals”…. not many, if any, around here anymore. To think of the happiness that they brought many people in being able to repair a beloved doll or stuffed animal! Kids still love dolls & stuffed animals today, but it seems that if they break or are damaged, a new one is purchased with no thought to have it repaired. My cousin had a favorite blanket growing up & he kept that until it became just a tiny little square - it had been ripped/chewed on by pets, torn up in the washing machine, many “battle scars”. He still has that little piece of blanket, a dear memento of childhood.
@@PaperandMoose Awesome to hear your cousins blanket story ! As a child, I always wanted a teddy bear but never got one. "Nope, you´re a strong boy, you don´t need stuffed animals like that !" The only item I got was a black Steiff cat when I had to stay in hospital for a few days. Not comparable with the huge amount of toys that some children own today. 😏

Renee, I think there was 21 cellphones - which you could lot up and sell for 50 dollars on ebay to get back your money on the unit. But there are other things like the tatoo machine that is a lot of money, and the shoes, what an interesting unit!
@@PaperandMoosepay attention to the graded ones. Grading alone costs money and a graded 10 is extremely rare. Those two combined can triple the price of just the base card alone
It's not too much of a gamble - a lot of 20 non-working phones for parts will get $100-150 on eBay pretty easily. On a unit of this size for $50, you will make money if you're willing to do the work.
My grandmother kept some of my dad's hair from when was a baby. I ended up with it and I was amazed at how white it was. It turned dark brown as he got older. I did get rid of it later because I didn't feel a connection to it.

But great video - thanks & have a great Monday! And you've crossed the 92K mark!
That powder could have been a problem if it wasn’t the perfume body powder, I got lucky with that one! The work wasn’t that bad though considering all that there was. If it would have been like the unit that had the little bits of folded paper in every purse, then work time would have been doubled or tripled for sure! The totes of shoes & toys stayed as-is & will be stored away until another flea market day. Clothes were easy enough to sort too. The nice weather also made it much easier to be outside versus having to bundle up to stay warm while taking things to the recycling center. Not bad at all, but a small part of still wonders what it would have been like buying that $3,000 unit 😆

The amount of work per cubic foot - in terms of sorting, trashing, dropping off, getting rid of prescriptions, etc. is higher than many. Maybe you could save the pill bottles and get one of those old apothecary cabinets. Hopefully no way for the person to trace back to you - concerns me a little. Powder gave me a start, too.
