Ooh yes.. done all that myself too. Eventually replaced the generator brushes. Rebuilt the fuel pump. Now some kind of vacuum leak in the carb or intake manifold on my 59a. Been looking at old posts on th Barn. Very informative even from yourself Mart!
Mart been following your channel, must say myself spent 50 yrs in the trade running my own garage, myself i can afford to spend that extra penny now as a hobby on my own classics, but what you have shown keep it real and cheap has sure encouraged a lot of people to have a go, as before a lot of people would not attempt being put of with costs and special tools well done keep up the videos excellent, looking at your lovely dog trying to get the bit of rubber of her, lol remember my my dog a Mastiff cross Rottweiler (big baby) having a cable tie stuck in his back teeth took three of us to remove it, one sitting on him, one holding his jaws open, and a nervous apprentice with long nose mole grips to pull it out.
Well done Mart . I have woken up the last 2 mornings thinking what's the point of getting on to the computer because Mart has finished the 100E. I was surprised and pleased to see the little car featured again . Thanks Mart
The adjustable relay is for the voltage charging, you should have 7,7V over the battery on a 6V system when charging above 13V on a 1V system, the other is for Current. It prevents current from going back into the dynamo when the engine is turned off, draining the battery. Great fix of the fuel pump.
Nice one Mart, did think after the last episode the not charging was the cut out/regulator, probably in a way a good thing the fuel pump stopped pumping when it did (i'd be tempted to put one of those clear inline filters in the fuel line in case anymore crap comes out of the tank --- if you're anywhere near Dickens Heath next Sunday i'll give you a filter) as it wouldn't have been fun if you were out for a drive, also it's quite sweet Ruby coming to see what you're up to as my Saluki (Jamal) likes nothing better than lying watching what i'm doing when mechanicking.
@@MartsGarage So satisfying to watch you eliminating the minor niggles one by one. I do hope you decide to keep your Anglia, after the amazing and rapid transformation, you have achieved.
Hi. Hopefully there shouldn't be anything too difficult. I found the spares availability situation is pretty good. Did you see my video where I showed how I bled the brakes?
@@MartsGarage I will have to have another watch of it I'm not sure what I'm doing I have bought new copper line and master cylinder trying to get my self brave enough to attempt it
I am surprised you could put the fuel pump back together and not leak at old gasket areas. Did you ever take a look inside the generator? Discharge if you turn on the lights is still going to give you problems.
great diagnosing and repairing ! she sounds great ☺☺☺☺👍👍👍👍
Good show Mart!.......nothing more satisfying than an afternoon of successful tinkering....we’ll done!.....Ruby is such a cutie !............Mark
Cute, but naughty, I'm afraid.

Hi. Thanks for watching I can just imagine that scene with the big dog. Not for the faint hearted!

That fuel pump might be good for calling in frogs!!! CHEERS from HERE!!!
Did someone step on a frog? No just testing my pump!
Just love to see stuff repaired rather than replaced. Good session.
Ha ha cheers Jacqui You won't like an upcoming vid where I replace the pump. Actually you might. Thanks for watching.
Great result Mart it’s amazing what a bit of tinkering can do

Good job with the fuel pump, it's amazing that's it running on the original points
More footage of the dogs please.🙂

What Will that relat to in danish i am wondering..?🤔
Neat repair of the fuel pump, Mart. What's next?. How about having a look at the speedo cable, hopefully it's not the Speedo itself.
Have a new cable on order. Old one was trashed. Well it was after I tried to free it up!

Hi Galen. I don't imagine the car will see any night driving so I think (and hope) it will be ok. Thanks for watching.
It's only discharging at idle, which is normal with a Dynamo/generator. An alternator charges at idle
Love the roadster Amd coupe, any for sale?
Cheers. No plans for selling at the moment. Thanks for watching.
brushes in dynamo ok
The engine sounds very quiet, have you changed the oil yet? Great progress.
Hi Roger. Yes. mate, oil and filter changed a while ago, when I had it up on stands.
