Hi Benett,i love your tut because is clear and well done 👏👏👏👍.One question:is it possible to do a Timelapse with tracking object like insta 360 flow? And what is the final result compared always insta 360 flow? Thank's in advance
Where did you mount your mic? Is there a provision to mount wireless receiver. Generally on the top of the mobile holder you would have provision but here you have that AI sensor.
Thanks for the great review! I've got a few questions: 1. Does the Hohem have any issues with maintaining a straight horizon? 2. When not using the Hohem app, can you turn on the follow feature with something other than an "okay" sign? Same question for following objects other than people. For example, maybe you could start the tracking in the Hohem app, and then switch to another video app and maintain the tracking?
i use dslr so i just orderd this one over the Zhiyun Smooth 5 5S A.I is a big deal for me and i dont like app a.i that much, thanks man. I saw some reviews on the stability the hohem rules.. only thing im concerned about is the axis at the top that doesnt lock.
Dear Graezer, First of all, I would like to congratulate you for this explanatory video that you have prepared with great effort. I also have 1 question for you. I use an iphone 14 pro and bought the 'RØDE Microphones VideoMic Me-L Microphone' for it. As Gımbl, I'm thinking of buying a hohem M6. But how do I place the gimbla after attaching the microphone? IM curios about her. What is your opinion on this? Thanks.
Thx Philip, I’m kind of switching between the two. Don’t get me wrong the Insta360 Flow is great too and should have been part of the video. I wanted to only include 3 gimbals for this review. In terms of ergonomic I do like the grip better on the OM6, especially for longer takes, as the Insta360 is a bit to small for my hands. Also the OM6 holds the horizon level longer wenn tilting the gimbal which for certain shots is more helpful. Also the OM6 offers counterweigh options, which can come in handy when using a lens when traveling. What I like about the flow is that I can charge my phone while shooting however I still prefer a power bank as it charges my phone faster and the flow quickly runs low on battery when charging the phone.
Great vid! Tx! Do you know if the isteady M6 power on and off beeps can be turned off? For quiet settings like a theater or church. Thanks. I learned how to get most of my M6 from this vid!
At 400grams I believe it will. I did see another review somewhere where they had a SmallRig case on the phone and worked well. Might need a counter balance weight though if a lens is used.
Both are different in their own ways. For a heavier setup the M6 is great, for a more travel friendly compact gimbals that id quick to setup the om6 is better
I see thank you for that, and you haven't tried the Smooth 5s? For my setup, it's just within a studio. I have the Dji Oslo mobile 5, and I don't like it at all, so thats why im looking for something much better. I do a lot of camera movements, and do some top down shots... so in a sense, im not making a short, but want to show dramatic movements but also have respond to the controls quick. What would you recommend? Do you recommend getting a larger gimbal for cameras? Thank you in advance. @@BenettGraezer
Is possible to properly adjust this gimbal with Freewell lenses and filters? They quite heavy, I'd to use mainly with them. Does anybody has experience in this setup? Or is better to rather enter in MT2 model for advanced mobile camera configuration?
This is a great upgrade and specifically the keyframe graph with easing functionality, compound clips, videoscopes, and the optical flow frame interpolation are next level features you can really start to see where you are trying to be more serious competition to the big guns who will remain nameless, so I commend all that, this is another big upgrade, so well done, but there is one feature which from a professional perspective strongly needs to be considered and that is Multicam. For those like myself who film weddings or other events like local concerts where you use multiple cameras to film simultaneously, we need a multicam feature where you can sync multiple angles of video with external audio and watch all angles simultaneously in a grid viewer and click the angle to make cuts to change to that angke. Now that we have compound clips which act like a container within the main timeline I hope we will soon have the ability to have a multicam container. I hope we don't have to wait until Filmora 14 for that......this is something which even PowerDirector can do so really don't see why it can't be done in Filmora. Please bring this feature to Filmora.
Just purchased the Hohem M6 having returned the Osmo due to movement limitations. Only problem I find is when filming in portrait mode the phone catches the roll motor and severely restricts up down movement. Phone can be put off balance ot avoid this but then the motors have to work real hard.
Anyone else notice on the Hohem M6 that the Multifunction wheel has a wobble to it? When I received my gimbal I immediately noticed it doesn't rotate in a straight line. I watched other videos that showed this, including this one, and it does have a wobble or a misalignment when rotating the wheel. I'm wondering why nobody has noticed or mentioned this.
With the design of this gimbal, wouldn't the charging port of my phone be blocked by the gimbal itself? How could I then also connect my wireless microphone receiver?

@@BenettGraezer I just wanted to know your opinion about the two, which one do you prefer? is that I'm undecided on which to buy from the two, actually between three. I include the zhyiun smooth x in the list, for the simple reason that I have an iphone pro max 14, as the phone has a stabilizer, I think that the smooth x has a lot of potential with this phone despite being a 2 axis gimball. I don't know if you have smooth x, but I wanted to know your opinion regarding my question. because I wanted something practical, I had the smooth q4 and I sold it because I didn't find it practical!
@bennet Have you had any problems with any motors or battery life at all since using the Hohem? Do you still recommend this gimbal after having it for a while now? Thanks in advance mate
You tried rolling shots with the insta 360 flow? I’m confused about which one I should get for instagram reels and occasional car content(cinematic video, rolling shots etc)..the Zhiyun is cheaper but some say it’s difficult to use or smthn..DJI is cool too, but open to suggestions :0
if you mean full Inception roll type shot, it’s unable to do that. Also the arm of the gimbal gets in the way. You can flip the phone the other way but then you’re shooting blindly. If you want that inception barrel roll I suggest the hohem bc it goes beyond 360. If you are ok with a partial barrel roll then instaflow is ok with that.
I have watched your videos for awhile. You have a great demeanor and an awesome way of explaining movements, techniques, and product usage. I do have a question… why don’t you use the Blackmagic camera app when recording your videos? Very interested in your opinion. Their companion app works on all phones the same or their are some limitations?
