I'm just loving the "love you too son". A lot of Germans settled in WI and I'm not sure about anyone else but those on my German side seem to struggle showing affection. Charlie, you nailed the tone there. Affectionate yet with that slight discomfort. Lol
On "King of the Hill" Bobby did something that pleased his father so much that Hank -- with real emotion -- said, "Bobby, if you weren't my son, I'd hug you!"😂
@@scarletcrusader5431wow same here! Also from Wisconsin. Mothers side is german, fathers side is Russian. The lack of affection in the Germans couldn’t be more accurate lol
LOVE THIS COLLAB! I love how the eldest is always the one to be accommodating the parent! I am an eldest and am always ready to help my parents. The rule follower! LOL! ❤
Oldest kid here. I can relate, but since dad wasn’t around, I was basically a second parent helping raise my 3 siblings. Thank goodness for my grandfather. He was the closest thing we had to a father figure. Miss you grandpa ❤
If you don't have any siblings, you get to see what it's like to be 3 different people! Also--shameless plug--I'm hoping some of you might like the music I make too :)
One of my biggest regrets in life was not paying attention or showing interest in what my Dad tried to teach me as a kid. Now that I own a car and am responsible for maintenance on it I'm finally starting to care and learn but I missed out on 20 years of free game because I wanted to go outside/play videogames. If any young kid is reading this: PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOUR DAD TRIES TO TEACH YOU. That knowledge could save you hundreds to thousands of dollars in the future.
I got a clip on flashlight for my glasses, best $10 impulse buy I ever got. It’s just bright enough to get the job done, and it even has an adjustable angle
As the oldest kid, we cannot afford to goof off like the middle child or bail out like the youngest child. We have to adapt and act right in order to stay safe. 😂
I feel called out! Just last week I was at the junkyard with my dad, saw he'd need the torx bits and grabbed them before he asked. He asked me to teach my brother how to do that hahahaha
😂. I wish I could show a live action image of my hysterical laughter after I read that. It is WAAYYY to true. I got my dad 4 rechargable headlamps so I, nor anyone else, will have to endure that again
Do you have a slew of these? This is the second I’ve seen so far. As the oldest of 3, this is beyond funny. Or maybe so accurate I could cry. No wonder I had so much extra work as a kid. Brothers were worthless.
Ah yea the joys of asking “what do you want me to do” And then having your dad start shouting about how your lazy and never want to help Until it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy and you no longer want to help
Thank God for technology! I used to hold the flashlight and hand tools to my dad and uncles. They always appreciated the help. I’m the middle child but I was my parents right hand many years! I was told by them that I had food in my stomach, clothes on my back and a roof over my head. I was also told that if I didn’t help then I wasn’t helping the family farm to succeed. So I knew how important it was for me to help them.
Im the oldest and I go with my dad to Menards with a grin on my face at 30. My middle sibling sister only tags along if we sre going somewhere else after Menards to get something with sugar. My baby brother only comes bc my mom orders him to tag along.
God damn this is accurate! My family doesn't have the middle child but my little brother plays that role pretty well alongside his normal role.... it fucking sucks
I’m the youngest and always had to help with this stuff because my siblings were not around so I had no choice! Lol many night helping with snow shoveling
As the oldest child myself, and 40 years old, I still rush to help my dad when he has chores and I’m in the city. Middle child passed away decades ago but this was accurate for his part. Same with our youngest sibling my sister.
I’m the oldest and this is definitely accurate. The oldest is always helping, middle is always getting into shenanigans and youngest getting away easy.

As the oldest I can indeed confirm this
Being yelled at about holding a flash light is a canon event for all guys
Both my daughter and son get that honor.
Bruh I love being the oldest
No it’s so annoying
It has its perks.
I hate being the oldest rather be the baby no expectations
As the youngest child, I work more like the oldest. I'm always there for my mom and dad.
Aww. This is beautiful.
As I middle child, I support the use of the "daze 'n dash" method. Far more efficient than the ol' "pocket sand".
