From what the video showed us, it was just a little spot with just a little bit of blood... my cats absolutely get random scratches and cuts all the time and I would never dream of "rushing them to the vet as soon as I could". I COULDN'T dream of doing that even if I wanted to. To most people, a vet visit is that week's groceries. Even with health you wouldn't do that with a human child... It ,akes virtually no sense to do it with a cat. It's very clear he loves his kitty, and he's an AMAZING cat dad, but I'm sorry, this WAS dramatic.

My orange cat had acne too. It was in the same area. I got rid of his plastic bowls. I use glass or ceramic bowls only. Also I use clean bowls daily. Acne comes from bacteria. Just sharing my experience with you. Your a great dad for Kurt. It shows.

We always worry about our fur baby’s. Kurt is very much loved and adored. I’m currently treating my cat for pre cancerous lesions.. and I’m doing everything I can to make sure I give her all the meds on time, wears her cone and stays out of sunshine .. and wear tshirts if she does play outside

Glad Kurt is doing well! My friend’s ginger boy also had a cat acne problem on his chin. What solved it for good was getting stainless steel cat water fountains instead of plastic.

My male cat also had bad chin acne, it was swollen, irritated and infected. Had the same wipes, he hated me applying it. His chin is finally healing up. Glad Kurt is doing better.

The love you have for your cat is beyond beautiful and it’s better to be safe than sorry. I had an animal that showed signs of being sick, she was a family pet. Whenever we would bring these concerns to our parents their response was to say “time to put her down” instead of addressing the issue with a doctor. Long story short, after 7 years of being medically neglected her body eventually just shut down and all we could do was watch. You aren’t overdramatic by taking your cat to the vet, things happen and sometimes you gotta double check. Wishing you and Kurt the best of days!❤

My cat had a problem with acne on her chin, too. I was told it was because of the plastic dish I used for her water. So, I upgraded to a stainless steel water fountain, and she has never had a problem with acne again.
I freaking LOVE that you take such good care of baby Kurt! A LOT of people freaking love that you do this ❤ Kitties are so curious and get into all sorts of stuff. My 🐈 🐈 are strictly indoor cats because I don't live in an area where they could explore the outdoors safely, too many cars, my neighbors have a (beautiful) red nose pitbull, etc. But even indoors they can certainly find things to injure themselves if I'm not careful. Kurt is a very blessed kitty ❤
