I think what would be awesome by adding all those plastic balls and add some of his favorite little fuzzy balls in there and he can try to hunt them because cats are natural predators and they always yearn to hunt. Throw in a few treats in amongst all those balls and he can hunt for his treats. That would be a good fun game.🎉❤

Our cat has multiple beds, towers, hammocks, tents, and self created sleeping spots. She will be addicted to one or two spots for weeks or months and abandon others she loved, then cycle them through again! They get bored and then go back and use again. I think that's what Kurt is doing!
Kurt have his house in your house and he is averagely 20x smaller than you. In my life there was a beautiful historical monument near my house that got demolished. I was one of the first to protest and cry for it as it shaped my environment and memories but I couldn't use it. But I still miss it in the landscape. So, for Kurt, this is his historical monument and he used it with you and he saw new activities made in there. He cherished the memories and guarded the place even from under. He caught your tought and did his own protest to keep his own historical monument. As a joke, I imagine Kurt doing his jumps down the balcony in it XD. (Even if it was safe to jump from your indoor balcony in the trampoline, at a certain age cats joints are not so... bouncy anymore.)
Kurt is the type of kid that never plays with a toy until you tell him that you are going to give it away, then he wants to play with it. What if you keep a banket over it? just in case he wants to have a just-in-case hiding spot.

Get a dining room (or kitchen) table, Kurt would like that. Post an offer for the trampoline somewhere (local paper, pennysaver, supermarket bulletin board) and have someone pick it up at your place.
I have a suggestion for how you might be able to get Kurt to use the trampoline, you could turn it into another fort for him and put some of his favorite toys in there and also maybe lore him in there with treats.😺

That is typical of a cat. I bought 2 different cat beds for my 2 late cats. Spooky slept on hers, little John never slept on his. He wanted his sister's bed. Later he took her bed over. Spooky then decided to sleep on the stairs. Then John decided he wanted to sleep on the stairs too. Eventually neither cat beds were slept in. That is cat logic, 😊😊😊😊
You could always list it in marketplace incase someone else wants it for kids or whatever. Sadly, the issue you're having with this little trampoline happens to the big trampoline people put in their yard - its difficult to transport and dispose of a trampoline

I expected this video to be about more than just the trampoline showing what else you bought debating whether or not it was worth keeping, don't get me wrong I loved the whole trampoline video, it was very interesting, but I am curious about the other things you've bought for Kurt and whether or not he uses them, I myself Have a cute little cat named Ollie, who was a rescue he's about two years old now I got him when he was four months old from a lady who found him on the side of the road and he is a very funny strange cat, because I have a dog and ever since I got him he starts acting like a dog, not all of the time, but in the way that he plays etc I think he views her as his mum and it's really cute, every time I take her for a walk he wants to come and walk down to the end of the driveway and sometimes a few houses over it, just sitting there and waiting for me to come home and also likes to play hide and seek in the bushes and pop out at me because I'm visually impaired he I don't know if he knows but he'll try and hide from me which is really cute, I've had other family cats in the past but they all didn't live very long unfortunately due to unfortunate circumstances and because my parents lived on a farm they were outdoor cats, so Ollie is my first cat that is actually mine and is more of an indoor cat, I have been trying to figure out what toys and things to get him since he doesn't like to play with regular cat toys that much, I got him a spinning ball thing that is supposed to keep him busy while I'm out so he can spin the balls around and chase them, since he doesn't really like those feathery toys, I saw your video where you wanted to see if cats chase balls like dogs since my dog doesn't like to play Fitch I'd be interested to see if Ollie does, I was also looking into different things I could get him like acat tree to tidy up my house using it as a multipurpose tool with a scratching post and bid etc, I currently have a scratching post that is the shape of a cactus which he does really like. Also I first discovered your channel through your shorts of cart and got invested since he looks like my old family cat that we had to give away, due to him weighing and marking his territory all over the house and abusing our other cat and neighbours cats, he was the same as Kurt a tubby, he's also the reason why I now have Ollie because I wanted a cat of my own and I was really sad when I was little and had to give up my cat
