I can confirm Arcanine can take BW2 by storm... When I evolved it, it was right before Skyla's gym.. and I OHKO'd her swanna with T-Fang (heart scales, so good), funny thing is, i was one level lower than her ace.
For Arcanine you can also delay evolving your Growlithe until level 43 so it learns Outrage. I did that on my most recent playthrough and Arcanine came in clutch so often, especially against Drayden and Iris
I did that in a previous playthrough! The reason I opted not to include outrage in the final moveset is because against Iris, beating her involves a lot of pivoting between members to cripple her pokemon's attacks, and when Arcanine uses outrage, she becomes locked in and cannot be switched out, which guarantees she will be defeated (assuming you don't grind the team's levels of course). Arcanine's role in the team is more defensive than offensive, so I would rather use dragon pulse for specific situations where Arcanine is guaranteed to finish off one of Iris's dragon pokemon with an attack so that you can use her offensively, but are still able to utilize her intimidate ability and pivot with other team members to take out other pokemon from Iris's team. At the end of the day though to each their own! I did include outrage in Arcanine's final moveset for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Feel free to check out that video.
@@DFuegoH Thanks for the reply, that makes a lot of sense! Playing the pivots is definitely the way to go for the safe route, Iris especially since she has so many that dragon pulse works well on, plus with the intimidates its a good strategy. My white playthrough i had stoutland and krookodile both with intimidate and it was fun but an easier elite four in that one
omg no joke this was very close to my team when I first played BW2. I just had a Whimsicott instead of Scrafty cause it was my favourite pokemon at that time. I guess young me was a lot better at team building than me rn ;)

Also for a suggestion I think you should include the movesets for each of the best team videos that don’t have them shown yet. (Platinum, Emerald, Fire Red/Leaf Green)
Generally no, natures and items are not a factor in determining the members. I made an exception for pokemon heartgold and soulsilver because the 40+ level gap is too huge for any pokemon to survive one hit. And thanks for the suggestion! I've been pondering doing just what you suggested for a while and I appreciate that you thoroughly browsed my channel.

Great team overall and I found my own playthrough team quite similar to yours I kind of disagree with the scrafty pick as there is no need for two dark types and I will choose heracross instead It have above average special bulk that one fire blast from hydriegon wouldnt kill and can outspeed and one shot hydregon, aggron and lapras so it is better than having an overlapped type and provides an additional bug type Guts also allow it to one shot many pokemon with neutral close combat which is learnt at level 34 In my playthrough if I do not have a type strong against a gym I will let my heacross get poisoned and spam close combat which works for most gym leaders apart from skyla Maybe I might be biased as it is one of my favourite mons and I used it in every pokemon game possible but it almost never disappoints me
I definitely disagree with the Krooko pick, if you have Scrafty and another intimidate user all you're really picking Krooko for is to use ground move and Exca is better at that by a mile. The Exca/Scrafty combo is honestly good enough to sweep 3 of the 4 elite 4 on its own.
@@jonvance3527since the original commenter isnt here. I'll do it hope you dont mind. Excadrill: Earthquake (lvl up) Rock Slide (lvl up) Shadow Claw (tm) Swords Dance/Hone Claws (both lvl up) Excadrill is remarkably speedy, so this set is meant for it take out any threat without too much trouble. I put Shadow Claw cause Exca doesnt learn much of any coverage moves for its Water/fighting weakness, but with its speed and power, plus both not resisting ground mean you can kill them off quick and easy Scrafty: Brick Break/Drain Punch (lvl up/move tutor) Crunch (lvl up) Zen Headbutt (Move Tutor) Rock Slide/Thunder Punch (Tm/Move tutor) This moveset is much the same except I prefer drain punch. Scarfty is less speedy and more tanky, so using Drain Punch to get some health back is always good. Brick Break has the same power but is more niche as it can remove screens. Its still realy good but I recommend Drain Punch. Crunch is there for stab, Zen Headbutt and rock slide/thunder punch are here for coverage against flying and fighting types. I recommend Thunder Punch for accuracy and chance to paralyze. But also because Scrafty is slower so you might not get that many flinches since you're probably gonna get hit first
@@DFuegoH No problem, there is always room for improvement. I am going to run this team with excadrill in Black 2 Challenge Mode now. I think your movesets could be a lot better though.
Personally I don't believe Moxie is as reliable as Intimidate for Krookodile. The team is very defensively oriented because of the overbearing nature of Iris's dragon pokemon, and the boost in attack wouldn't make a difference if Krookodile is taken out in one or two turns. Intimidate is better for enabling him and the other team members to tank the physical attacks of Iris's team that normally would be overwhelming, so that there is a chance they can mount a counter attack. Besides, Scrafty has the Moxie ability already, and he has enough defensive bulk and the right moveset to utilize that ability better than Krookodile.
It's the level curving of the game. The games were developed so that pokemon level up more quickly than the older games where without grinding you could beat the game with a team with members in the 30's. In short, you literally can't go lower than the 40's. Level 48 is the number the team reaches when defeating all the obstacles in the game without any extra grinding. Interesting you had fun. Gen 5 is the only gen I forced myself to finish because of how boring it was. Not to mention it's the only pokemon game I was forced to play with volume off because of how annoying and bad every single music theme is.
Looking for a team for the Pokémon world tornament and also good move sets for the team because I was able to beat unova and kanto cup with my high speed and attack Pokémon but once u get to jhoto it starts getting complicated and technical with yawn and pain split and held items that reduce super effective damage, so I need a cheesy team that destroys all that
Cause I don’t know how to trade pokemon using ds emulators 😂😂 In all seriousness though, including trade evos as options doesn’t change the core members of the team, so the teams for this channel would not look much different anyway. I received a lot of flack for including trade evos on my fr/lg best team, even though trading on gba emulators is much easier than ds emulators, so I figured that I might as well avoid trade evolutions if it’s difficult for me to access them. So to your answer question, I don’t include trade evolutions for practicality purposes.
@@DFuegoH Oh, I thought pretty much every fan of the old pokemon games would have a physical copy and at least one other game in the same generation along with both a DS and a 3DS.
