Really appreciate that you got right into the movement! No nonsense intro 👌
Thanks!!
Chanelle u feel me??!!!! Thank u for this too
Yes
Short, sweet, and straight to the point. I appreciate it, brother.
Love deadlifting with dumbbells. I do both the stiff legged and the Romanian, but of the two I prefer to do more of the SL. This was a simple, good demo of the exercise. And he’s got the coolest legs to show for it.
Finally a quality vid on this exercise. perfect form!
Thank you for keeping it brief.
thanks for keeping it simple!
Thank you. Straight to the point
Thank you for getting into it straight away
Keep your back straight, look forward and PULL yourself up while keeping your legs straight. Keep a slight bend in your knees if you have to. The movement should feel natural and not forced.
I always struggled with this exercise but your video helped. Thank you!
First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.
Agreed, short sweet. Thank you. I teach aerobics and sometimes need to check myself. All good 🌴
Shoulders back, chest forward.
Slight bend in knees or locked completely.
Thanks for the video 👍
So welcome!
Thank you for this!!
So welcome!
Is it right if my weight transfer to both hamstring and lower back?
Mostly great. But external rotation of the femur targets the biceps femoris (outside of the hamstrings) more
Good tips...I have a question, it looks like even though your chest is out the whole time your shoulders roll a little to the front at the bottom....is this natural especially with heavier dumbbells? The reason I am asking is because I do it how you are doing it but some dude at the gym stopped me and rebuked me and said I was doing it all wrong that my shoulders need to rolled back the entire time, grant I keep them like that but at the end they come down just a little which looks like you are doing. It pissed me off cause this guy ruined my super sets and was critiquing my every move. He also said never push your butt back as you go down. Can you please clarify...I just want to do them right and no matter the weight my shoulders come forward a little even though my chest is out and my lower back is arched the whole time. I also push my glutei back some as I go down. Does this question make sense? Thanks for any help.
Hey there, You want to make sure your back is straight and shoulders are rolled back for sure. They may slightly move forward naturally but just be aware of it and keep your back and shoulders as straight as possible. Secondly with many deadlifts you push your butt back instead of just hinging at the waist. Keep you legs in the same position and bend at the hips.
Good video
Just subscribed!👍🏾👍🏾💪🏼
Amazing! Thank you!
Thanks
Absolutely!
Hey dude ,
Is it normal to have slight pain or a stretch in the lower back when doing this exercise ?
Maybe slightly but that may be simply because you have loosened up enough. I would spend a bit more time stretching.
Do not under any circumstances let your back arc or bend, keep it straight.
Go lighter on the weight and practice form. You might be arching your back
@@r011ing_thunder6 thanks all. I found out it was due to me over stretching when going down, which meant my back over compensated for the movement.
@@manlikeak good to know you're still alive
Recommended sets and reps?
my split had gone because of that exrcsise
No BS , great
This is just a DB RDL, not a stiff leg deadlift
Do i need to bend my knee
How many pounds are they? No one posting weight of the dumbbells
There clearly 20lbs
Nice Romanian Deadlift.
I feel it in my lower back. Idk what I'm doing wrong 😖
Same here
You may be arching your back too much. Try to keep your back straight and maybe use lighter weights to get the form down
This is a Romanian deadlift.
holy calves
haha! Thanks!
Sir are you natural body builder without steroids
jai hind jai kissan lmao
No, he’s actually just a natural bodybuilder who happens to have steroids.
He’s natural with sarms
don't turn your toes in wtf
how bad is it to do that? tbh that's how I feel the most of the hamstrings instead of the back. I'm not being an ass, I'm just curious.
that being said, I'm not consistent with this, I'm worried I might hurt my back so I'm taking it easy.
I thought that you shouldn’t bend you back
