He saw Kimberley in the movie “Father of the Bride” and liked her. He asked for her to be in this video, they fell in love and now have 2 sons.😍❤️
He and Kim will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks.
Funny fact, that is his actual wife but they were not married or even dating at the time this music video was filmed. Brad actually made a request to see if she would possibly be in his music video because he liked her performances in Father of the Bride and its sequel. They'll have been married 20 years together next year and have two sons together. She's been in several of his music videos and has inspired more than some of his big hits.

My favorite of Brad's funny songs is "I'm Still a Guy." But I love everything he sings.
As a good ol' Southern Boy myself, I can completely understand Mr. Paisley's actions. The truth is that my brother pretty much did the same about 10 years ago and is happier than ever! You should also check out "Ticks" by Brad Paisley, which is another song that takes me right back to my South Texas roots.
Very much with you on that solitude thing. As for fishing, I never really enjoyed it but had to go with my dad and some siblings as a child.
I did; however, enjoy Brad's song and your reaction.
"Ticks" or "Alcohol" would certainly be a good next choice for a Brad Paisley song.
This was a huge hit for Brad! Up to this point his music was known to be very serious but when this dropped that all changed and we got a glimpse at the humor that would drive many other funny songs (that you should check out) like ticks, alcohol, online, and celebrity. The lady in the video was and is an actress by the name of Kimberley Williams - Paisley and is now Brad's real life wife. This video was done when Brad asked her to be his video 'girlfriend'. They've been married since 2003 and have 2 boys. They've done a few videos together and love having fun and make hilarious videos/songs. Here's another one that Kimberly was in. Last Call for Everything ft Kimberly and of course, David Hasselholff (with the car named KIT from Knight Rider). Another funny one. This is such a great song and Brad Paisley has plenty. My other favorites of his are Part Two, Then, Remind Me (with Carrie Underwood), He Didn’t Have To Be, Letter To Me, Ticks, I Wish You’d Stay, Who Needs Pictures, I’ve Been Better, and Holdin’ On To You.
And yeah Bro, you need to go fishing! I used to go with my dad and now I take my kids. Sometimes I just go by myself when I need some alone time. Another great fishing song is Just Fishin' by Trace Adkins.
As a lifelong conuntry music fan I enjoy seeing someone new to it. And that laugh you gave when you realized what the song was about was to fun not to have seen.
What is so funny about this is that Brad saw Kim in the movie Father of the Bride and thought she was just so beautiful, and really, really wanted to get her to do the video for this song. So his manager somehow got in touch with her manager and they worked it out. According to Brad it was love at first sight. To hear him tell this story is just too funny. Besides Jerry Springer, the sports announcer is legit. He has one of the best sports talk TV shows in the US. Also the little short guy in the cowboy hat, on the Springer show, is a Nashville icon by the name of Little Jimmy Dickens.

The wife is his real life wife Kimberly Williams Paisley, an actress. Such a cute couple, married 15 years. Brad has a ton of fun songs, along with his tear jerkers. 'He didn't have to be' is amazing. You need to check it out. You won't be sorry. In the Jerry Springer part, there was an old tiny cowboy. He is a legend, 'Litty Jimmy Dickens' & Brad puts him in many of his videos.

As a woman I can tell you ... one of my favorite things is to go fishing...my brother has a big pond stocked with Catfish, bluegill, red ear, and bass and I will spend all day and stay until it gets too dark to see before I leave..it is the most relaxing thing ever...you have got to go fishing...nothing better...BTW dont forget the beer...just a suggestion.

Fishing is a MAJOR part of the culture down in the Southern US. My sister almost lost her marriage due to her husbands obsession with fishing. Work all day & fish all night. It’s almost like an addiction like gambling. They want to spend every free moment on the water. My Granddaddy was like that but my grandmother didn’t care because he got on her nerves anyways.
