Andy, as a person, was a nasty person in real life. He was well known for treating any fans very bad when approached. He was NOTHING like his folksy persona.
I came to Sherrif Andy late. I knew Matlock. Andy Grifith reruns run after MASH on MeTV. Left it on one night becuase I was not paying attention. Watch every night but Mon and Tues (WWE).
I love this video but it's bittersweet. The old man is Andy Griffith. He passed away in 2012 and a lot of us still miss him. He reminds me of simpler times. I always tear up at the end of the video when he's sitting on a bench dressed in white waiting.
Yeah that was Andy Griffith. Actor in Mayberry many, many years ago & Matlock in his later years. All Brad's songs are outstanding. He can make you cry & he can make you laugh. Love your reactions.
The older gentleman is Andy Griffith, legendary star of The Andy Griffith show (where a tiny Ron Howard got his start) and the hugely popular court drama series Matlock which ran from 1986-1995. He was also a musician in his own right. Love this; THANK YOU so much for reacting to it. Check Brad on ‘Letter To Me’! Stay safe & love much💖 Cheers!
Andy Griffith ICON/LEGEND ! Excellent Actor and Singer in his own right ! Yep TV you may have seen him in the Andy Griffith Show or Matlock ? just to name 2 out of hundreds of appearances over Decades of career !
The "old man" was famous actor Andy Griffith. Andy played the Sheriff of the fictitious small town of Mayberry for 8 years that was something of a bygone era. It was a wholesome show, with Andy (as Sheriff Taylor) raising a son (Opie, played by a childhood Ron Howard) as a single Dad. Sheriff Taylor was a model of a Dad for many, as well as a model for how to treat others. Andy later had a series in which he was a lawyer with a country flair. (You might want to check out Andy's recording of "What It Was, Was Football", from 1954.)
Brad Paisley is my favorite country artist! Check out his duet with Carrie Underwood “Remind Me” as well as his songs “I’m Gonna Miss Her”, “Alcohol”, “He Didn’t Have To Be”
First time I watch this video and I was so surprised to see Andy Griffith in it. Please watch some episode of his TV show. You'll laugh at most of them, but there was always a moral to each episode. He was a great actor in many other TV show. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Andy sitting on that bench on the beach and I was sure he'd fade away. Especially knowing that he's passed since then. Thanks for the reaction and the video. RIP Andy
BTW, have you heard Andy Griffith sing? He's got a godly voice too. |Here's one of many songs he recorded ... this one is Turn The Radio On ... I think you'll like it too. :) ua-cam.com/video/BMspTNbiKqI/v-deo.html
Speaking of Andy Griffith....if you can find his monaloug called "What it was -was football". Homespun country storytelling at its best! Love all your indepth reactions. I'm making you an honory Texan!
You should watch “I’m gonna miss her”. It is also the video when he met his wife. He had seen her in Father of the Bride and asked her to be in his music video. Marriage and two sons followed. Brad and Carrie Underwood hosted many award shows together and were a hoot! It’s not been as much fun since others have taken over.
His Wife Kimberly Williams also played Jim's sister-in-law on According to Jim! Brad was in a couple episodes! Love them both!! Oh, a couple great ones by Brad is...Alcohol & I'm Still a Guy!!
Aww, I loved seeing Andy Griffith!! I loved him, so much---he was from not too far from where I'm from, down-home (NC). I absolutely HATE being late!!! One time, my husband and I had to go to a formal dance, and I told him I needed 3 hours to get ready, and he almost had a stroke; but, when I was ready to go, a few minutes ahead of time, he was floatin' on air, with glee!! "I'm Gonna Miss Her", is my favorite, of his---it's soooo funny; plus, his wife's in it!!
A favorite of mine. I always tear up at this song, I guess because of the love the elder man had for his wife in his words to the young man. Then the end at his final wait for her. I smile, I laugh, I cry. Beautiful song.❤
I loved this video/ Song. It had two of my favorite people in the whole world 🌎. Andy Griffths was a father I wish I could have shared with Ron Howard. Loved their sitcom. What a beautiful song by Mr. Paisly. 🤗
Love this song and many others by Brad, I loved seeing Andy Griffith in the video and still watch old re-runs of the Andy Griffith show almost every day.
This was always one of my pet peeves with my wife. I sure wish I could wait on her just one more time. I'm sure she's waiting on me at the gates of heaven
lol, my husband use to get a little agitated waiting for me too. One day I explained to him, "Look, if I cut my hair 1 inch long, threw on jeans and a tee shirt and wore no makeup then I could be ready in 20 minutes too but the problem with that is that I would look just like you!! 😊 So nice to hear you say that you'll try to be more tolerant when you're waitin' on a woman. After all, you're usually the one's we want to impress.
Hi, I just discovered your reaction videos, and love them. 😍I love when you say "knock it back." 😂Brad Paisley is one of the best story tellers with his songs. My all time favourite Brad Paisley song is "He didn't have to be."🥰 I know as a father you will really love this song. Stay Safe, Well and reviewing these songs with so much heart. Take care. 🙏
The late great Andy Griffith he was an awesome sweet kind man. Sadly he passed away on July, 3rd 2012 love this video. Awesome reaction. Fun fact. Andy is still waiting on his bride Cindi she is still with us. This is a tear jerker for sure. I have terminal cancer so my husband of 44 years. i will be waitin on him but i hope he doesn't go to soon life is precious i want him to find love again and live on after i am gone.
I've been waiting for you to get to this one. As others have said, the old man, Andy Griffith, is an American icon. I believe this was the last project he did before he passed away, but I could be wrong about that. He just reminds me of my dad, who patiently waited for my ever-late mom their whole lives together. I reckon Daddy's found himself a bench and is just waiting for Mama on the other side. I always choke up when I think of that. I used to get so mad when we all sat in the car waiting for Mom to finish doing whatever it is she does that causes her to constantly be late. I'd reach over the seat to honk the horn before finally stomping into the house to yell for Mom. When she finally slid into the car, Daddy would just grin at her, reach over and squeeze her hand and tell her how pretty she looked. As a kid, it made me livid. As an adult ... I appreciate the beauty of every one of those moments. I had my dad listen to this song when it came out and he just smiled. ❤
Loved your review. Another great song by Brad is "I'm Gonna Miss Her". Brad has a great sense of humour and it comes out in this song. Have a great day
Love Brad Paisley - such a great storyteller! I definitely agree on the next song, "I'm Gonna Miss Her." I don't know your recreational activities, but if you can't relate to Brad's, you will relate in your own way, I think. Thanks for this song and spot-on reaction, Craig! All the best from the U.S.
My husband knows me so well!! I will ask him "what time do you need me to be ready?" He will tell me an hour earlier than he expects. I really do try to make the time he sets for me because I want to look my best for him. When I make it, we have time to spare to play around. When I'm more stressed, I still make it because he told me an hour earlier. We don't get to play around but we still enjoy each other's company. We've been married 20 years in September and we have learned to anticipate each other. But I truly do try to make myself ready with the time he gives me. :D
Another one of those good Country songs that make so much sense. One of my favorites by Brad Paisley and it was great that Andy Griffith was in it. They did a great job together.
One of my biggest pet peeves is being late..omg I hate it!! I want to be 10-15 mins early lol , the older gentleman in the video is our beloved Andy Griffith who had several different TV shows but my all time favorite is the " Andy Griffith" show. I have seen all them episodes probably 100 times or more. It ran for a long time. Great teact video as always ❣
So glad you reacted to that! I sure do miss Andy Griffith. He was a great actor plus did some singing of his own. Both my parents are gone. My Mom went first and one thing my Dad always said was he thought he had more time and thought he would go first. I cry when I hear this song because it makes me think of them. They were such an in-love couple all 63 years they were tohether. I imagine my Mom was waiting patiently. Thank you.
Wow! 63 Years together is something to be proud of...you just don't see that anymore. I knew a couple that were together for 85 years, he lived to 108 and she lived to 105, in that case he died first and she followed him within a few months time.... Have a blessed day.
So happy that your channel came up on my suggested videos feed. My husband teases me about this song. Only difference is that I'm always waiting on him. 😂
You should watch The Andy Griffith show as well as him just singing. He passed a few years ago. He was a household name, everyone knew him. He was an actor and musician.
👍 Side note- Paisley’s wife Kimberley is an Angel. My son works at Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. They host Her Annual charity event for Alzheimer’s. He has contracts that prevent publicizing Brads involvement but (with a wink) he shows up “unannounced” to perform every year. Both of them class acts.
This was always a great song. Also, the intro of Brad in this song was my wife when I was in the fine tobacco store the other day picking some cigars. 😂
Love this song, but, I must admit, I have never heard a Brad Paisley song I didn't love. You never know if you'll laugh or cry (or both), but you know you're in for a treat with each one! On another note, I am another of the "10 minutes early means you're late!" but I have learned to relax a wee bit about it now that I'm in my 60s.
I love that song. Sticking with that theme, you should do Chris Stapleton's "Daddy Doesn't Pray Anymore". He says he was waiting for his girlfriend (now wife) to get ready, and she told him to write a song while he was waiting...he wrote it in about 10 minutes.
This is such a great song and Brad Paisley has plenty. My other favorites of his are Part Two, Then, Remind Me (with Carrie Underwood), He Didn’t Have To Be, Letter To Me, Ticks, I Wish You’d Stay, Who Needs Pictures, I’ve Been Better, and Holdin’ On To You.
Great reaction, I am glad you enjoyed the song and video, hope you check out lots more by Brad Paisley. I despise being late and have rarely ever been late, but my late husband was late for EVERYTHING, even for our wedding even though I told him it was at noon but it was at 1...he arrived at 1:20, so frustrating.
I dont know if anyone already said this, but Andy Griffith played Sheriff Andy *Taylor* on his iconic Andy Griffith Show🙂 Just a bit of trivia i thought you might enjoy. Take care.
So glad he was able to get Andy Griffith in this video before Andy passed away. But hey, please react to Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, "Remind Me" :) Thanks, in advance, and you are welcome my friend.
Love this song and your reaction. Don't believe that all women are late. I'm just like you, if I'm not early, I'm late. If I say I will be somewhere at a certain time. I'm there. And, I didn't develop this habit because I was in the military!
Some artist are just story tellers and they master it. Another good band, my absolute favorite, is Blue October. Try watching Fear Acoustic version in black and white
Craig, Brad is a master at telling stories, especially funny ones. Check out Little Moments and I’m Gonna Miss Her, two funny ones with his wife, Kimberly Williams Paisley who is an actress. (Father of the Bride w/ Steve Martin) One of my all time favorites is When I Get Where I’m Going with Dolly Parton. Then, Whiskey Lullaby with Allison Kraus is haunting. Also you can’t miss Remind Me with Carrie Underwood. And Craig, if you ever get a chance to watch any of The Andy Griffith Show from the 60’s take it! Especially the first season which are all in black and white. They are quintessential Americana and no truer picture exists of life in the South. Andy was also a great picker and singer too which you can see and hear in a lot of episodes. I feel it is probably the best TV show ever produced and most episodes teach lessons all while being hilarious! Don’t miss the characters Barney Fife and Ernest T. Bass!! 😂 Also, the now famous movie producer/director Ron Howard plays his son, Opie, when he’s about 5 or 6 years young. Sadly, we lost Andy in the last couple years. He was an American icon. R.I.P. Andy 💔 BTW, great review! 🎶🎶♥️
Sorry I'm playing catch up... new subscriber... Andy was an actor, but he also had a few albums out back in the day. He did gospel AND comedy... one of his most famous routines was "What is was, was football"... it's on here somewhere and is worth a listen!
The old man is American actor Andy Griffith, who starred in iconic tv series “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Matlock”.
Matlock was from 1986-1995, just for accuracy
We miss Andy Griffith really bad. A role model for my generation growing up.
There are Sunday School classes on the Andy Griffith shows.
Andy, as a person, was a nasty person in real life. He was well known for treating any fans very bad when approached. He was NOTHING like his folksy persona.

Nice to see Andy .. he has been everyone's Pa since he was Opie's dad on the Andy Griffin Show. A truly missed actual nice guy.
Great song...I miss Andy Griffith as well...did not realize he was in this video...still watch Andy Griffith reruns to this day.
Yeah that was Andy Griffith. Actor in Mayberry many, many years ago & Matlock in his later years. All Brad's songs are outstanding. He can make you cry & he can make you laugh. Love your reactions.
Mayberry R.F.D. was the spin-off from the original television series: The Andy Griffith Show :) I loved both. :)
I'M GONNA MISS HER is a real funny video you should see next.
Stay safe & love much💖
Cheers!
Best Family Guy joke for a quick WTF laugh. When Oppie throws the rock and Andy smiles? It cuts to Oppie hitting a black family.
Yes, that was Andy Griffith. It made me teary eyed, that's for sure.
That was Andy Griffith as the older gentleman.
This song hits my heart every time; the video is so heartbreaking.
Rest in Peace Andy, I loved you while I was growing up...
What a beautiful song.....❤❤❤

Andy Griffin was the old man.
The next song you should check out is He Didn’t Have To Be!!! Great Father’s Day song
I'm a huge fan of Andy Griffith. He had a huge influence on me, as I watched his show, that was mostly about morals and ethics.
First time I watch this video and I was so surprised to see Andy Griffith in it. Please watch some episode of his TV show. You'll laugh at most of them, but there was always a moral to each episode. Andy Griffith, RIP.. he makes me smile every time I see this. It's one of my favorite videos/songs of BP. Great job, Craig.
One of the sweetest songs ever written 💙Brad Paisley is such a decent soul

This song is great, just love this version with Andy Griffith what a Marvelous man we lost when he died.
Miss him so much.
I love this song, and it always makes me misty-eyed.
I’m Gonna Miss Her should be the next one. Also, Being a Celebrity. 🫠

It was such a treat to see Andy Griffith in this video. I always loved his acting and his TV shows!
Andy!! Wow…. RIP and thank you for all the smiles.🐝❤️❤️
Thank you for this song. Much thanks from Alabama USA

Love this song.
Another one of those good Country songs that make
so much sense. One of my favorites by Brad Paisley and it was great that Andy Griffith was in it. They did a great job together.
It was Andy's last project, I believe, before he passed.

Such a beautiful song.

The old man played in a black and white show named after him...The Andy Griffith Show!! 💖
One of my favorites by Brad! Great reaction.
This is wonderful! I love seeing the old man, Andy Griffith!
Please check out I'M STILL A GUY..by Brad...hilarious song.
Brad has a great sense of humor - Me Neither, I'm Gonna Miss Her, Alcohol, Online, I'm Still a Guy.
This video is so special. Fly high beautiful angel. Andy Griffith.
You should watch The Andy Griffith show as well as him just singing. He passed a few years ago. He was a household name, everyone knew him. He was an actor and musician.
I like watching older shows and some other ones
👍
Side note- Paisley’s wife Kimberley is an Angel. My son works at Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. They host Her Annual charity event for Alzheimer’s.
He has contracts that prevent publicizing Brads involvement but (with a wink) he shows up “unannounced” to perform every year. Both of them class acts.
I always love your reactions. Makes .e smile at you
You just seem like a nice fellar to sit down and have a nice sweet tea & cornbread, and talk about life with. God bless ya sir.
RIP Andy Griffith. American icon
Andy was a good actor and singer.
West town mall is in Knoxville Tennessee. That is my part of Tennessee. I love this song it is so sweet
This was always a great song.
Also, the intro of Brad in this song was my wife when I was in the fine tobacco store the other day picking some cigars. 😂
Rest in peace Andy Griffith. When he pasted he took a piece of my childhood with him.

Love this song. For us it’s my husband who’s always late but he’s worth it ❤
This is such a great song and Brad Paisley has plenty. My other favorites of his are Part Two, Then, Remind Me (with Carrie Underwood), He Didn’t Have To Be, Letter To Me, Ticks, I Wish You’d Stay, Who Needs Pictures, I’ve Been Better, and Holdin’ On To You.
Brad has many songs that would be great for reactions. Songs such as "I'm Still a Guy", "She's Everything", "Whiskey Lullaby"

I HATE being late!!
Luckily, my husband and I were in the military; so, none of that shenanigans!!
I'm sorry for you loss! 🤗
I love that Andy Griffith made this video with Brad
He did a song that is funny but relatable called I'm Still A Guy. Kinda funny. Please react to it.
Great reaction man - a new view of things! Love it!
This song became a favorite of mine, before I saw that Andy Griffith was in the video. That makes it absolutely perfect for me!
That old man is american royalty. The great Andy Griffith
Such a tender sweet song! You gotta do I’m Still A Guy! Hilarious
I dont know if anyone already said this, but Andy Griffith played Sheriff Andy *Taylor* on his iconic Andy Griffith Show🙂 Just a bit of trivia i thought you might enjoy. Take care.

Love Brad. You should check out official videos by him, I'm gonna miss her and When I get where I'm going and He didn't have to be
Life is 90% how you choose to view it.
Bass!! 😂 Also, the now famous movie producer/director Ron Howard plays his son, Opie, when he’s about 5 or 6 years young. Sadly, we lost Andy in the last couple years. He was an American icon. R.I.P. Andy 💔 BTW, great review! 🎶🎶♥️
I’ve been married 40 years been waiting on my woman but it’s worth it
Has to be brads song 'Letter to me' amazing song
Sorry I'm playing catch up... new subscriber... Andy was an actor, but he also had a few albums out back in the day. He did gospel AND comedy... one of his most famous routines was "What is was, was football"... it's on here somewhere and is worth a listen!
Loved the video with Andy
Brad Paisley just has a way of combining funny and poignant in one song. Next from him you should check out “Letter to Me”.
