My late husband was a Sheriff's Deputy and loved Willie. He also had horses and trained them. He did let his horses and Mike's and donkeys drink beer. We played this at his funeral.
Toby ran into Willie somewhere and mentioned that he thought Willie might enjoy performing with him on a new song he was crafting. He told Willie he would send over the song for Willie's consideration. Willie asked, "What's it called?" Toby replied, "Beer for My Horses." Willie's response upon hearing just the title? "I'm in!" ************** Kick that cancer, Toby! We're with you! 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love this one with Toby and Willie its a lot of fun, not sure they'd get much done if it was a TV show, generally they use Iced Tea as a substitute for whiskey on video sets...ummm these boys said no to that and used real whiskey. They had a good time by the end. On another note, keeping Toby Keith in our prayers as he's battling Stomach Cancer right now, he's a tough guy so he'll beat it!! ❤ This is great driving music.
I'M WATCHING YOUR VIDEO RIGHT NOW I DON'T KNOW IF YOU KNOW IT BUT TOBY KEITH IS FIGHTING STOMACH CANCER HE'S AN AMAZING ARTIST IN THIS SONGS ARE ALL VERY VERY AMAZING
I vote for "I'll never smoke weed with Willy again" as the follow up song. Another good one by Toby is "Red solo Cup". I know the solo cup isn't very widely used by the Brits but this song kind of explains the solo. lol
I got another good one for you I don't know if you've done it I don't think so band called Big and Rich save a horse Ride a cowboy I think you'll like it
If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass when it hopped! That is right up there with 'He ain't got the sense God gave a billy goat!' The fact that he put that in the video just made it all the better. Love Toby Keith! Unfortunately, He's been battling stomach cancer for 6 months now, and I send my heartfelt wishes that he has a full recovery. Prayers to him and his family.
Apparently when Toby Keith wrote this and asked Willie Nelson to do a duet with him Willie's reply was, well it depends on the song, let me hear it. Toby said it's called "Beer for My Horses" and Willie said "I'm in!" Toby said don't you want to hear the song, Willie said nope, love the title, I'm in!
This is such a fun video! I remember when it came out, they interviewed Willie and Toby , and they talked about making this, and they were asked for the drinking scenes if they wanted "mocktails" or real whiskey. Willie looked at them and said, "Is that supposed to be funny!?" *LOL* So of course they're drinking Willie's brand, "Whiskey River".
I read that Toby Keith contacted Willy to do a song together and Willy said he would think about it (or something like that) and asked the name of the song and when Keith said “beer for my horses” Willie said yes.
This is one of the best videos of TK! I've seen him 5 times in concert in Savannah, GA! The ABSOLUTE BEST concerts I've ever been to! He was diagnosed with stomach cancer last fall and I pray to God that he spares one of the best country music artists to ever live! All TK's music is absolutely amazing!
Love this song with Toby and Willie. You can't help but tap your feet and sing along. Prayers for a successful recovery for Toby Keith in his fight with stomach cancer. Willie Nelson is 89 years old now and I not in the best of health from what I had heard. Prayers and best wishes for both of them.
Years ago there was a show called McCloud that ran from 1970 to 1977 starring Dennis Weaver. It was about a Deputy Marshall from Taos New Mexico, who was assigned to New York as an investigator. I loved that show. Look it up.
I just wanted to add I had an old quarter horse named jaybar he would have fit in that video perfect every day when I come home I'd have to give him a beer if I didn't give him a beer he'd open the gate up and start sticking his head in front of the windows messing with me till I brought him a beer they ever make a series of this I'll donate jaybar
God Bless and Keep Toby as he battles cancer. FYI, if you listen closely, you will hear Willie singing backup to most of Toby’s songs. Highly Recommend- It’s A Little Too Late. Great video but, their vocals are magical.
Beer for My Horses is a 2008 American comedy film starring and co-produced by country music entertainer Toby Keith which is based on his song by the same name.
Toby tells the story that after he wrote this song he contacted Willie to see if he'd record it with him. Willie asked what's the name of the song? When he responded Beer for My Horses, he replied, that all I need to hear, I'm in.
I never saw the video before. Love this song so much. I worry it wouldn't get made in this current climate since people pity the criminal so much these days. But this is on my playlist and I crank it up every time! Love your reaction:)
Toby wrote the screenplay for the movie, by this same name, and acts in it, with Willie Nelson---and was the producer. The scenes in the vid, were the scenes in the movie! Toby also wrote the song, of course!
It there were ever a song that made everyone sing along and wish they owned a Horse, it was this song!! Mr. Taylor don’t you find that with their voices those two could sing with anyone in this world? Amazing! Now I’m going to be singing it in my head all day!
Willie & Toby are great entertainers. Always fun when they collaborate. Been fortunate to see Willie several times. Never seen Toby but would love to see him. Praying for his recovery and that he will have many more years to entertain us. Here are a few of their fun songs. Toby Keith - I Love This Bar by Toby Keith Toby Keith - How Do You Like Me Now?! (Official Music Video) Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard - It's All Going to Pot (Official Video) Willie Nelson - Still Not Dead (Official Video) ill never smoke weed with willie again by bongtokindrunk (Willie & Toby)
They did make a movie of this with Toby Keith. And Willie Nelson has some good movies- Red headed stranger, Outlaw Justice, Stagecoach ( with Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson). Worth checking them out.
If I were Toby Keith's partner I would have asked, "Exactly why do I have to dress up as a chick? We dp have female cops?" I would have loved to hear Toby's smart-ass response.
Red Solo Cup is another Toby Keith song you should check out. Also, for some really fun songs, look up Ray Stevens. His stuff is hilarious. Also, check out Mel McDaniel, Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On, Louisiana Saturday Night, and Stand Up.
Thanks for the come back . I think I may be wrong about Larry The Cable Guy being in the movie . It has been awhile since I've watched it , but does have Toby and Willie in it and it is funny and full of action . Enjoy .
It's not music but for your own entertainment you watch the movie Beer For My Horses . It has Toby , Willie and Larry the Cable Guy in it . It's a funny cop movie .
Love your reactions! I'm italian and i fell in love with country music some years ago (though it's almost totally unknown here, and many songs are not relatable for us). Love the story telling, the humour in many songs and also the emotions some of them give! Amongst the "classics" i suggest "a week in a country jail" by Tom t. Hall. And for the contemporary ones, "ticks" by brad paisley and " i drive your truck" by Lee Brice.
Can't believe he's gone. His spirit is large and we're feeling this loss 😔 WHAT. A. LEGEND!!!!! REST IN PEACE KING 🕊 🙏
You have a very eloquent way of expressing yourself sir. I enjoy your channel.
One of the things that I admire about Toby Keith. Is that he put on more concerts for our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq then any other artist.
Beer for my Horses, it's a movie. These are scenes from it.
My late husband was a Sheriff's Deputy and loved Willie. He also had horses and trained them. He did let his horses and Mike's and donkeys drink beer. We played this at his funeral.
Toby and Willie actually did a movie released in 2008 titled "Beer for My Horses". It also has Rodney Carriington and Ted Nuggent in it.
Circus Jolly!! That movie was amazingly hilarious.
Amazing movie !!
good reaction! and its a movie called beer for my horses!
This is a song that you can't help but sing along
Another fun song is "Trailerhood" by Toby Keith.
8:11 “Grandpappy told my Pappy back in my day, son…” is my favorite part!
Toby ran into Willie somewhere and mentioned that he thought Willie might enjoy performing with him on a new song he was crafting. He told Willie he would send over the song for Willie's consideration. Willie asked, "What's it called?" Toby replied, "Beer for My Horses."
Willie's response upon hearing just the title?

Stay strong in your fight with the big C Toby.....Love Toby and Willie.
I'M WATCHING YOUR VIDEO RIGHT NOW I DON'T KNOW IF YOU KNOW IT BUT TOBY KEITH IS FIGHTING STOMACH CANCER HE'S AN AMAZING ARTIST IN THIS SONGS ARE ALL VERY VERY AMAZING
What a great idea to turn this into a tv show, with Willie and Toby starring of course. I’d watch it too.
I am pretty sure it's physical impossible not to turn this song up when it comes on in the car
My car turns it up automatically😂😂😂😂😂
Certified banger for sure.
I vote for "I'll never smoke weed with Willy again" as the follow up song. Another good one by Toby is "Red solo Cup". I know the solo cup isn't very widely used by the Brits but this song kind of explains the solo. lol
Both are great songs that I'd love to see him react to as well.
Yes on both!!
Send a prayer up for Toby. He recently announced he's dealing with stomach cancer.
I got another good one for you I don't know if you've done it I don't think so band called Big and Rich save a horse Ride a cowboy I think you'll like it
Prayers for Toby to get better.
So, look up the movie.....got crappy reviews, but, I loved it. 😁
I loved it to. The bathroom singing scene was so funny.
I love this song it's one of the best collaborations I've heard in a VERY LONG time
If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass when it hopped! That is right up there with 'He ain't got the sense God gave a billy goat!' It would've been cool if you had added Weed With Willie on the end of this.
This is such a fun video! Willie looked at them and said, "Is that supposed to be funny!?" *LOL* So of course they're drinking Willie's brand, "Whiskey River".
Willie has played in several movies. He is really a great actor as well as a great singer and song writer. He is so talented.
BEER FOR MY HORSES IS A MOVIE 🎥! Not sure where to watch it though 🤔. Great reaction!! Toby's "Trailerhood " is awesome!
I to would watch a crime show staring Toby Keith and Willie, with a call back to old school justice and a bit of country to it.
They wrote this during the CMA awards, Toby was in the bus smoking with Willie
The name of the movie is beer for my horses. And yes it starts Toby Keith and Willie Nelson and it just flat out was a great great movie
I read that Toby Keith contacted Willy to do a song together and Willy said he would think about it (or something like that) and asked the name of the song and when Keith said “beer for my horses” Willie said yes.
I have never seen the video to this song, but I liked it! Toby & Willie - great combination❤
If you want a chuckle look up the live version of “I’ll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again”. It was written as a surprise for Willie’s 70th birthday.
Mini movie, you should watch Willie and Merle Haggard in the video "Poncho and Lefty", it's like a mini movie.
Great song!!
I hope so too TK is my favorite country artist, if anyone can beat this it's him.

I'd watch the movie or even better TV series.
I would absolutely watch that show!

It’s like watching a mini movie. Fabulous song.
It IS a movie---the scenes in this vid, were from the movie that Toby wrote.
Oh, you need to see I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again, Toby and Scot Emrick, and Willie, live. You'll laugh your head off. Thanks for the fun.
God Bless and Keep Toby as he battles cancer.
FYI, if you listen closely, you will hear Willie singing backup to most of Toby’s songs.
Highly Recommend- It’s A Little Too Late. Great video but, their vocals are magical.
❤️🙏 Let’s all send prayers and good thoughts out to Toby. He has recently said he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. ❤️🙏
Heard the song, but haven’t seen the video until now! Loved it!
If you haven’t yet listen to Toby Keith’s as good as I once was.

There is an old episode of Miami Vice in which Willie played an old Texas Ranger. Good episode.
Prayers for Toby. Love this movie, I mean video 😆
Is passing breaks my heart
Whose passing? Neither Toby or Willy have passed.

Toby Keith and Willie Nelson are both pretty good actors, you should check out the movies they are in.
They did make a movie.
My favorite Toby Keith song is Dream Walking you don’t see it played much.
You're the first reactor I've watched that didn't talk over and miss the frog joke
This actually was a movie!
There is an entire movie for this song.
There is a movie staring Toby Keith called beer for my horses
it actually a movie and yes it is hilarious.
There is a movie with Toby Keith in it it's called Beer for My Horses
There is a movie called Beer For My Horses. Also includes Ted Nugent and, I believe Rodney Carrington?
It kind of a twisted riot of a movie.
Always love u bud.. take care
It's not music but for your own entertainment you watch the movie Beer For My Horses . It has Toby , Willie and Larry the Cable Guy in it . It's a funny cop movie .
Better yet, try Dukes of Hazard, with Willie Nelson
