"Probably a lot of dill in there" made me smile. Everyone goes to weird fish dishes, I've never heard someone accurately bring up the dill. Which is honestly under-utilized in other cuisine.... but possibly overused in ours.
Just about every time my Druid wildshaped into a bear I would end up “Whinny the Poohing” myself in a doorway, so I respect the hell out of Merilwen; 🧸
I have a character that would vibe with Eggbert in terms of combat style with the elbow dropping and WWE wrestling. But he is an automaton butler lawyer.
I love the subtle foreshadowing normally Johnny will either just generally mention how many people are in a place or will mention how many people are in a place and then describe a few specific people such as a blacksmith a Merchant in a booth selling things a man walking the streets in cheaply made Rags begging for money and he'll do this to set the scene but here he didn't do either of those things he mentioned how many people are in the town but then instead of describing a few people he called out one specific character the blacksmith was the only character that he specifically called attention to and then again a few scenes later he said there's a sort of block full of several buildings and mentions specifically the the blacksmithing building still having hot iron on an anvil that's some clever foreshadowing that no one even seemed to notice because he usually describes details like this and usually they aren't too relevant so the oxventure team didn't really have a reason to look into the specifics of who he mentioned being in town and therefore he was able to cleverly get away with that foreshadowing and simultaneously probably felt pretty good for managing to slip in some you may have noticed that I intentionally didn't mention what this is foreshadowing to because I don't want to give two huge of a spoiler I just wanted to say props to Johnny for this clever foreshadowing even if I won't tell you what it's foreshadowing towards
@@SinSacrifice That's to my point: if the GM's rule is round down, the result could be 0 if you roll 1( critical isn't relevant rolling damage), and only rolling 8 would be a 4. The only proper way to roll d4 with a d8 is to relabel 5-8 as a second set of 1-4 for that roll.
One bite, and Prudence's life was changed forever.
At least it was a bear really sucks when its a wererat
the bite of 87
@@moebiuseight7977 hey -we- I mean were-rats are very kind not at all murderous or rabid people
I can't believe i am only realizing this on the third viewing but Bromine is Bismuth's brother
I suspected it from his goat-like creaky bones and his "only my sister calls me 'bro' " line
When he transformed into Optimus Prime is when I KNEW
Also, the necromancer (whose name escapes me) is also a brother of Bismuth
It's that second of absolute glee you can see on Ellen's face when a pun opportunity presents, for me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What about the hot Johnny gets when the oxventurers biff Rolls especially on game breaking derailment
absolutely epic!!! Love Ellen for that pun alone!

"There are only so many hours of daylight to work with" - smile faded. CURSE YOU, FICKLE NORDIC SUUUN!
You could say... it's a... big dill?
oh no! Prudence needs to succeed a DC 14 constitution saving throw or become a Tiefling Werebear
ITYM she needs to _fail_ a con saving throw, or she will _fail_ to become a werebear! 😀

Looks like they bearly completed the quest in time.
Eldritch Blast all day, every day!
Poor bear just wanted some junk food.
Merilwen was quite punny this session.
56:28 It's good to have the "moral core" of the guild back.
Bismuth and Bromine... I may have lol'd.
Johnny breaking in 1:25.
That has to be a new record for them
I love that Johnny's NPCs sound like Nords lol
58:13 we now how 2 party members who can turn into a bear

I really want to read this, but I cannot. Please, use full stops and commas, they exist for a reason
Goodness gracious, mate, breathe!
(besides that, I totally agree with you)
Has Egbert already forgotten about his mastiff?
18:10 no just no!
Agreed. Merilwen's the druid. Dob should be the one doing the seducing.
If you don't have a d4 can't you just do 1/2D8? Also is this Egberts first Fire breath??
What if you rolled a seven? if you really want to do a d4 roll like that with a d8, what you have to do is subtract 4 if it's from 5-8.
@@EthanMiguelScott well it comes down to Dms house rules either you round up or round down on halfs

Wow Dob Is so very intolerant of people that have a different opinion and go straight to violence whenes they don't agree with him.
