That is a truly beautiful bike. There is something special about the detail and engineering that goes into Njs parts and when they come together like this even people who don’t know about bikes can appreciate their beauty.
UA-cam Really knows my thing. Why didn't I find this channel Sooner? I'm a big fan of Fixies and Windbreaker. I do really like your builds. Keep it up❤️, I'll Support😉
@@waveywheelies I live in Richmond Texas. It was a struggle for me to find even 1 fixed gear bike worth my size. I got lucky with my felt brougham for $200. And if you're looking for components you are completely out of luck. Only completes or frames as rare as they are themselves.
I have the same problem here in Mexico. You can get easily track parts and frames in Mexico city and other big metropolitan areas but in my city in the south east I think there are only two persons that are into fixed gear. One of those is me and the other is a friend I converted her bike recently. I think we have a mission to grow this community here
5:06: a 20 second spin test of the cranks. That's the good stuff that for some reason (marketing mainly) became obsolete... ps: Good luck getting those bottom bracket cups out in some years without any mountign paste, especially the drive side!
Love your builds and videos. Inspired me to try my hand at converting an old bike I found into a fixed gear. Also your music choices are top notch. If you don't mind dropping the name of the song or artist/producer for the music you used for most of the video, it'd be appreciated
Excellent job! As always, very nice work from the build to the video...just one thing: if I were you I would like to use an "happier" music while you're showing the assembly parts...this one remember me one of those 8 bit game of the age pokèmon silver 😅 Anyway, love how it turned out, I will steal some idea for my future build from this video 😉
Yep, checked over the whole frame and fork thoroughly. The paint tends to flake where there’s a tiny bit of surface rust or just from paint chips/scratches. The paint seems to chip quite easily, my guess is because the frame is chromed under the paint, making it harder for the paint to stick
@@waveywheelies Did you purposely leave off the plastic sleeve the SG75 BBs usually come with? I've noticed sometimes they're sold on eBay and elsewhere without the sleeve but I've always wondered if they're okay to run without. I know it's just for moisture protection so if you're not riding it in wet weather or keeping it in damp places it's probably fine but curious on your opinion.
Please don't hold the handle bars incorrectly. It's okay, better luck next time. If you just try a little bit you might get some where. And we might see the headstem get raised higher.
I do it just to see how the bearings spin with no resistance from the chain or wheel. There’s a noticeable difference in a lot of different bb’s and crank types
I'm still amazed of how smooth the bottom bracket was.. damn.
Oily mug of tea while tinkering with a bike.Priceless😍
Oh hell yes. By far, my favorite video of your's so far.
Thanks so much, glad you like it!
LOVE THE MUSIC ON THIS CHANNEL.... ESPECIALLY THIS VIDEO!!
Classic Fixed Gear build never get old❤️
💛
So good. I love that only a few things were brand new. Chain, tires, grips. Maybe bottom bracket? Maybe hubs? Beautiful “used” NJS bike!
From an iPhone it looks brand new.
😉
Low key one of the simplest, and cleanest production on a video, I'm no expert but I've watched my fair share of videos, loved the new outro animation
This is beautiful madness, just sheer purity. Thanks for the video. Now I gotta go shopping!
Nice, short and simple,,,,..this is what cycling is all about….

Thanks! And I totally agree! Well said
Probably one of my favorite of your videos!
The track footage is just a great ending keep up the good work.
Thanks mate! I appreciate the support and positive words!
Love the intro! Tea and cookies will set you up for a nice build for sure! Thank's again for an excellent vid!

@@waveywheelies ❤️
Beautiful build… if my local bike market and fixed gear/track bike scene wasn’t so barren and nonexistent I would actually be able to do some builds 😞
Thanks! Where are you based?

Super nice build. Love seeing toe clips… I’m old enough to remember when toe clips and drop bars were the coolest fixie aesthetic 👴
best meditation in the morning

I always use grease on my BB threads, never had any issues getting them off 👍
Awesome build!
Thankyou👌

Thanks! Awesome to hear! And the music is made by a mate of mine, not named anything sorry
@@waveywheelies I understand. Super talented musician. If there's ever any music released I'd definitely buy it!

I LOVE THAT BIKE🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

all the best parts
Old. Scratched. And rusty, yet it's still beautiful
Beautiful. Just wondering, what happens to these bikes after a build?
Yours to ride? Or sold?
Thanks! A bit of both really, I like to ride them for a while and will sell if I need to make room for new projects. Some are keepers though
Where abouts do you get your parts and old bikes from? More specifically the wheel sets?
Nice to see
✌️
No wheelies on the njs? 😂 nice build man 👌🏽
Haha yeah sorry man, not as easy with drops and a big ratio. And thanks bro!
🔥💯 as always Godbless

Can you give the name of that black pad on the handlebars please ❤❤❤
Are you OK with the welds around the bottom bracket. That's a lot of paint missing

Kerennn🤩
Bro what a bike ! i have a little question: what kind of bottom bracket is that ? Greate work
Looks like the official njs sugino 75 bottom bracket
Thanks bro! and what LouieMcFly23 said, it’s a Sugino 75
