Their “professionalism” is a combination of talent, thousands of hours of practice, and gigging for nearly 10 years. 😎👍

This is the song that hooked me. it was their live version done on the 2nd Ted talk show they did in 2017. Seeing them at such a young age kicking ass blew me away. I instantly went down the rabbit hole from there, and when I seen them cover Atlas Rise by Metallica at the Whiskey a Go Go private show, I was sold, lock stock, and Barrel. Haven't looked back since after all these years. ⚡

MTV just release on their UA-cam channel a couple of live performances of More and Evolve, that The Warning performed at this years VMAs and the girls were on fire, so please react to those.
This song is part of their first album XXI Century Blood, which is not a concept album. Their second album Queen Of The Murder Scene is the concept album.

    SURVIVE
Songwriters: Paulina Villarreal / Alejandra Villarreal / Daniela Villarreal
Don't come to me saying that you cared
That I was the one who was never there
Don't come with your lies in the air
You keep blaming me and it ain't fair
Don't come telling me that you're worried
That I'll be hurting if you're gone
Don't come to me saying that you're sorry
    Your words mean nothing
Your words mean nothing at all
You said that we were gonna be together
    Forever and ever
But now I'm lying on the floor
With my broken heart and all
You said that I was the one of your dreams
That your heart belonged to me
Now I believe I must move on
Because I think you won't come home
    Come home
Oh, I know I will survive
Even if you're not by my side
Think this time I'll say goodbye
But don't come to me saying that you cared
That I was the one who was never there
Don't come with your lies in the air
You keep blaming me and it ain't fair
Don't come telling me that you're worried
That I'll be hurting if you're gone
Don't come to me saying that you're sorry
    Your words mean nothing
Your words mean nothing at all
You said that we were perfect for each other
That I was like no other
I never knew this was a game
You win, I lose, I've been replaced
You said that you were gonna keep your promise
    Of loving me always
But now I know that it ain't true
And I'm so glad that I left you
    Left you
Oh, I know I will survive
Even if you're not by my side
Think this time I'll say goodbye
But don't come to me saying that you cared
That I was the one who was never there
Don't come with your lies in the air
You keep blaming me and it ain't fair
Don't come telling me that you're worried
That I'll be hurting if you're gone
Don't come to me saying that you're sorry
    Your words mean nothing
Your words mean nothing at all

I don't know why but I have a feeling you'll love the song "Queen Of The Murder Scene" (eponymous of the concept album) and they also played it at the Metropólitan, of course.
    You'll really enjoy it.
Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽

"Queen of the murder scene" is the concept album that you need to hear in order (there is also a live gig for that album where they play it all the way through in order, live at LUNARIO CONCERT 2018.) Some of the songs from this show are from that album but most are from the newer album "Error". This song however predates both of those albums.
Dust to Dust is the first song from QOTMS they also play it at this gig, its a good song if you want to hear more of Pau's voice.

as others have said Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. The songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not. let me know when you get ready to do a watch party, live at LUNARIO CONCERT 2018

They have always been very professional. This is an old song. Many of us remember it from the Tedx in 2017, when Ale was 12. If you want to get into the concept album, I'm sure someone will send you a playlist of the 12 songs in 4 chapters. Dust to Dust is the prologue of Queen of the Murder Scene. It is played live at Teatro, but also live a Lunario, where they play the whole album, plus some other songs. Ale was 13 at Lunario. If you want to do it, I'd suggest getting a playlist and the lyrics and watch each song individually from the Lunario concert. That way you won't get thrown off by the extra songs. Remember that they are 5 years younger at Lunario and the concert was self-funded, so the quality is different from Teatro but it's still great and you can, again, see how professional they were back then. I'll be with you if you do it.

Part of the blast of their live shows is the “sing-along” element. Most of their songs have catchy vocal parts that lend themselves to audience participation. And like here, they often throw even the lead vocals to the crowd. They have such a devoted fan base, there is no question of them not picking it up. I went to a recent concert where they had technical issues on two songs - both times the crowd kept singing. They are a fantastic live band - phenomenal. Their love for their fans is palpable. Great reaction, thanks.

Hey Justin! I have seen them live 4 times, and I can tell you that they are very professional, but at the same time, they love to interact with their fans and they like to turn their shows into a big party! They feed off the crowd's energy and vice versa! If they get to Australia make it a point to see them, even if you have to travel a bit!

They've evolved so much that early songs like this are really just for their long time fans to enjoy in a nostalgic way. As others have said this song predates the concept album you were aluding to. It's the first song I ever heard from them back in 2017, so it holds a special place in my heart.

Nice Reaction! They have so many good songs at such a young age, it's crazy! Now that you have listened and reacted to some of their banging songs, you should listen and react to an acoustic song from this same concert (Teatro). The song is called Revenant, they have a guest musician sitting in with them, Pau sings and Ale and Dani's background vocals are insane. Beautiful and amazing!

They are incredible as a unit 3 sisters from Mexico who love to rock and they kill it every time live. This concert isn't the concept album that's Queen of the Murder Scene. This has songs from all their albums and it's a banger of a show. Thanks for reacting to this classic song by DPA.

This concert has some songs from 2nd "Queen Of The Murder Scene"is the concept album, but most are from their 3rd Album "Error" this song is from their 1st album "XXI Century Blood". They played it at the 2017 Ted X event. Ale was 12yo. (Thick about it, a fourth grader missing school to PLAY a rock concert.🤯)
The live concert with all of the 2nd album in those videos from Lunario. This was the private concert where they premiered it for there invited contributors.

  • @gabrielalbertocastillomarq6120

"Survive" it´s from their first album "XXI Century Blood" (the song was presented in their second TEDx Talk (from 2017) and later totally in The Dakota Bar from Monterrey. México in 2018 January .
Their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" is their second album and was presented in October of 2018 in the Lunario Concert (CDMX)
Their their album "Error" has no concert as presentaton but in Teatro Metropolitan concert they played all 12 songs (and Breath as intermission), playing old songs along the way ti compleate 22 songs for the concert with the "Narcicista" single too (their firt song in Spanish).
The songs of their first EP "Escape the mind" era lamentably not in the catalogue for presentations anymore since more than 6 years ago

DPA ❤⚡🤟

You're watching the wrong concert, if you wanted to see them perform their entire concept album "Queen Of The Murder Scene" [QOTMS]" in order. The concert you're looking for is Live at Lunario CDMX. (Note: That performance includes a few performances of songs not on the album, in between performances of "Chapters" of the QOTMS story.)

Money is the song that introduced me to The Warning. At about this time a year ago, I was ignoring the constant thumbnail of Dany on my sidebar on UA-cam, thinking it was just one more subpar American band with a pretty face. One day I finally thought, WTF it’s not going away, give it a try!

If you are just now finding out that the drummer sings, you will now find out that she sings lead probably 25% of the time. The album you are referring to is Queen Of The Murder Scene, a conception album that tells a story. So much more to experience from this band. You'll get there.

I don't know if you are getting jumbled information or you are just mixing it up- This song (Survive) is from their 1st XXI Century Blood. yes, they are sisters... when they put on this concert performance in Aug 2022, they were 22 (Dany), 20 (Pau), and 17 (Ale)...
this song is the 3rd in their set at their 2017 TEDx performance and talk...
the concept album you are thinking of is "Queen of the Murder Scene" (aka QOTMS)... i prefer the one at Lunario CDMX where it was first performed... especially they way they were in character and also the visuals on the screen behind Pau...

Survive is from their first album XXI´st century blood, not from their second album QOTMS. It was first performed at the Ted Talk in 2017. It is an excellent performance by Pau and the band. Her theatrical skills are highlighted here. It is also one of their best songs where their performing skills are shown. With that said I like your reactions a lot.

I'm sure someone below has already told ya, but in case, no, this album is not the concept album. 'Queen of the Murder Scene" is the one you are thinking of. If you wish to react to that one in order, you'll get a story. In the debut concert at Lunario CDMX 2018, they play several songs in between chapters from their first album, XXI Century Blood, and Survive is a song off of that first album. They do play Survive as an encore at Lunario, and in my opinion, the Lunario performance of XXI Century Blood tracks are some of their best performances of the that album.
