Is it just me or do our fast jets look like they are all for show these days? I suppose that's not a bad thing. I suppose we'll see them doing quick response, light resistance strike missions in support of the UN and the like. I'd like us and Indonesia to be doing that together through the UN, they could ditch those air superiority fighters and pick up some F-35 or Su-32 strike fighters. Long live the bomber! :P
@bagas alkautsar i have no idea what alphabet starting with an I means, but yes, these were put up against typhoons and Rafales and slaughtered them with ease, so your dozen or so SU 35s would be easy picking.

Farkthats Funny if you do your research its a bargain, it isn't overhyped its just praised, and it's a godsend if it's over here to contest in the Pacific

Im from malaysia, our sukhoi 30mkm isnt in good condition same as mig29. The aircraft package for sukhoi 30 mkm is incredible, but russian after sales service is bad + middleman marking up prices. Its hard to get spare part, maybe partly because of the crimean conflict. Even india struggles to maintain their sukhoi fleet. But our f18s have good operation readiness partly because its direct dealing with boeing. So i would say american planes are more reliable.
I know how loud 2 are when they are flying high, bloody deafening, can only imagine what 2 down low sound like.
Beautiful! Bout time you guys arrive tho!
More of them sooner fellas!
Thanks for the flypast, it was awesome!!! :-)
i really liked it, when slowed down frame for frame, that a Papa Three Orion flew inverted underneath them
Awesome bout time they started arriving 👍🏾
Congrats Australia!
About? A second rate fighter costing millions?
We're lucky we have you guys on our side.
How long will they be at Williamtown before they start flying to the other RAAF bases.
Most are at amberly but these stay here at williamtown
Amazing thank you RAAF
Outstanding aircraft state of the art worlds best
That's great.
When do we get our first aircraft carrier. LOL.
Will they be coming to Perth??? Looks amazing !!!
Greg Holloway nah, all we will get are a bunch of trainers and the occasional A4 Skyhawk.
Go Aussies on the way up.
Usual fool. American jets.
Please bring them to HMAS Albatross, I want to see them so bad!
Hell yeah. time to own the Sky's
The F/A 18s look much more slender and aerodynamic, even with the fuel tanks.
And that’s why you aren’t an aircraft designer

Could this Fatty (f-35) beat the F/A -18 hornet in a dogfight ??
I mean no B. V. R engagement......
Yep. Go look at the results from the last red flag in the USA
Better question, do you want the F-35 to beat the F/A-18 at:
A. 25km away
B. 30km away
C. 100km away
D. 160km away
Well, we can easily take down the entire Indonesian air force with just those two now.
Are these two capable of defeating Emus? :D

@bagas alkautsar We will destroy your peasant planes.
Andrew Small What a grand enemy you have ! Congratulations 😊 Don't worry your next "Chinese" prime minister will handle that.

Like just about everything the Yanks do... Over-priced, over-hyped and over here :D

@Farkthats Funny lets not forget they helped with wharf security, those bloody Union strikes almost crippled our boys holding off the Japanese
LOL they spend more time on the ground being repaired then flown. Russian planes far better.
Russian bot or troll?
