- Here's the Urn play through for Intra Venus from our 2017 record. A huge thank you to Zildjian cymbals for sending me the entire K series to use in this series, it's amazing how diverse these cymbals are. From extreme metal to light jazz...
Very happy with this mix personally, good guy John Douglass killed this one for me. This is what my drums sound like, and it's replicated nicely on this track. As usual, there are no samples on the snare or toms, they are all natural, and it seems a lot of people are going this way once again also which is great to see. Viva la naturale. This track is all one take also, with no quantizing. and I always try keep it that way for the flow of the video. I really hope you enjoy this one.

Such great mix of instruments every peace fits right in its place and nothing is too much or too small. I've got to say Dan. I've seen a lot of drummers through my years and in songs I've listened to . But none have given me as many goosebumps every single time I'm listening to Ne Obliviscaris songs. There is plenty of skilled drummers out there, no doubt. But for me your playstyle and the whole combination of your band crew is just stunning. Children of Bodom has been with me for over 15 years now, and I'm in no doubt that you guys will share their place through my years of passion of music. Since you two have a amazing way of putting different components together in a way that few others have accomplished. Correct me if wrong, but this is a personal opinion.
