Thanks for the videos! I like you do a voice over and don't call it Mr Lazer and go boom every time the log slams on the deck 😂 I'm looking forward to more videos good luck to ya!
Well I've done stuck my foot in my mouth😂 sorry mark! No disrespect meant I will admit I am a boom hater but that doesn't stop me from watching your channel I never miss an episode and have been with you since the beginning I hope you can forgive me
Impressive log. Crazy wide boards coming off 2 at a time. Its always aggravating when you get a big log opened up and discover there isnt buried treasure inside. Lol. Nice video
Just a little more waste with a vertical edger being the head sawyer and edger operator you got a split second when coming back with the carriage how your going to edge that board They are great setups a lot of different companies offer the same thing helle or cardinal for exemple. Helle has a new one that has presets for the edger which is pretty cool
I’m not going to lie. I’ve seen and cut poplars larger. Maybe not in circumference. But some of the sticks have been close and over 50 ft long. I recently slammed a White Oak much larger. And yes! Central Indiana! The best hardwood in the world
Just found this chanel and this is the second video .i've watched. One thing I noticed .Is the sawdust on the floor and everywhere. A real fire hazard. Do you ever do a cleanup ?
I explain it in a couple past videos. The top of the bottom saw leans into the log. And the top saw leans out. It’s not near as bad in smaller logs that require the top saw. Remember everything that comes off of the saw will more than likely get plained and finished out
Impressive! Thank you for sharing
Love watching hows you work. No wasted time or motions.
I haven't seen poplar that big outside of Spring Mill Park!
You subscriber numbers will grow. You have the best sawmill operation on UA-cam.
I greatly appreciate that sir! I plan on uploading content often. Please send my channel link to folks who you know would be interested:)
And I’m familiar with Spring Mill! On a worldly scale we’re pretty close!
all businesses have limits I hope you love sawing
I sure do!!

A BOOM hater lol!
Everyone has a different style:)

@nicloewenhagen5557...I agree, one of the other channels does come across as less than professional and childish.
@@arkansas1336 yes we do have fun at what we do some people just hate to see other people happy .

Nice video
Thanks to the camera person who showed the different view of the saws plus the outfeed process and rolling the logs to other faces.
good morning activities friends..good wood
I have nothing to do with the timber industry other than being an end user but watching this process is oddly satisfying.
I have never seen this type of mill, impressive that you cut dimensional boards out while milling. Seems more efficient.

Grown in Central Indiana.

Love your videos........but you need to switch to a bandsaw if you continue with the extra large logs!
Curious what your top and bottom saw motor horsepower is?
This is america, we cut going the other way!
Just found this chanel and this is the second video .i've watched. One thing I noticed .Is the sawdust on the floor and everywhere. A real fire hazard. Do you ever do a cleanup ?
Every day. And the motors get blown out as well.
What would cause the blades to lean and why in differing directions?
The blade being sharp makes it lean in. And the saw being dull makes it lean out. The feed rate also makes it lean in more
I'm sure it's been asked, but why the green lighting on the feed side?
Oh I assure you it just appears that way on video. When you’re actually underneath of it, it just seems like a bright light tbh.
That's a big ass log. The building must have shook a bit when it hit the carriage blocks.
It truly did!! I wish I could re-do this log and video
I suppose that wabbling hydraulic motor has fallen off by now.
Why does the two blades not line up ?
I explain it in a couple past videos. The top of the bottom saw leans into the log. And the top saw leans out. It’s not near as bad in smaller logs that require the top saw. Remember everything that comes off of the saw will more than likely get plained and finished out
Doesn''t seam to be an ideal diameter size but I still throughly enjoyed the milling.
I agree! Tbh I just wanted to do it for the video. We can make more money sawing better smaller logs all day long
What is the diameter of the top and bottom main blades?
There's no part 3?
Sir you just pointed out a past mistake of mine, thank you! The video is on my channel, but it wasn’t labeled 3/3. I fixed it
@@Helmsburgsawmill You're welcome. So, I guess your mill setup can handle a four-foot diameter log?
Sir that is a jam up system u have with 3 phase power everybody around hear still use power units 😢
boring
You're "board"? 😂😂😂
