I have seen a lot of reset videos and think this is the first one that focuses so much on widening the stance and having solid legs which is super helpful. What I like most about this video is you are coaching someone who isn’t already a 4.0+. You can see and learn so much from seeing a less advanced player making mistakes and learning from teaching points. Thanks Corbin for being that person! Would love to see more like this.
These types of videos for me are a winning formula. Having a player of this level and you guiding them thru the motions of form, technique etc. Great video! Thank you for the amazing content
Resetting is something that I've been wanting to work on. So important when playing with bangers to try and slow the game down. Big fan of your content.
The modeling of moves with a short explanation is super useful. To the error and then the correct movement is worth a 1000 words. I learned so much when you directly named the error and explain the why the error correction is beneficial. I plan to watch this YT channel more often.
This is an awesome drill. Thank you for making it and keeping it real with a non professional player so we can see and learn from Corbin's miss hits. Thanks Corbin!
Well Done Jordan! Thanks for the refresher lesson on resetting shots and getting low on the returns. Hope you and the family are staying cool in AZ, hope to see you for a lesson in the fall. Way Hot and Humid in SC.
Fantastic! Come to Fla or NC! Question High bounce balls to my backhand in transition? When I hit them hard they come back and when I try hit soft I tend to pop it up a little What shot should I focus on?
Stance (lowerer) is as important as paddle moves. More easier for someone of shorter stature than a taller player. Taller player can reach wider balls. ( Longer arms).overall, to play higher levels it come down to getting low and that can take a lot from the thighs. Gym strength training or body weight squats can help.
I love the transition zone and hitting resets but I have a tendency to watch where my shot lands instead of moving forward immediately. Any suggestions?
Yo Jordan it’s Seth again, could you at some point make a video on speed ups again? This is the issue I am having and maybe you can help. When I speed up there is a lot of times we’re my opponent will block the speed up and it pops up. But sometimes that pop up is a little high so either A) I swing at it usually resulting in either a out ball or a bad counter to there counter or B) They hit it over my reach/head causing me to be in a very awkward position. What are some tips for capitalizing on these types of plays? It seems to me that there is no time to take a step back to get a better shot.
Only complaint of the video would be the audio, sounds muffled and kinda like you did an amazing perfectly timed voice over. Something about the lack of any music, ball noise, and kinda weird crispy ness and audio bugs that occur sometimes.
That’s interesting about not primarily using your legs to lift the ball on resets because that’s where I always try to put my reset power. I’ll give this a shot next drilling session! Thank you!

Yes. Having widening the stance and getting low come up multiple times really drove it home for me. Very good.
Now speed it up to 85mph 😮
Corbin demonstrated well because he has good touch and hand skills already.

What type of microphones are you using for this video? The audio quality is excellent. Especially for something that is attached to your shirt.

Question

What shot should I focus on?
Sound like you need to step back and create a little bit more space when hitting them soft. If driving, you have to drive it low to the wings
Amazing video. Stuff I already knew but great to see someone explain everything with such ease. Most of us 3.5-4.0 players need a refresher sometimes
Glad it helped!
Hi Jordan! Great video!!
Glad you liked it!!
Stop early! Exactly. Thanks Jordan
😎👍🏻
Jordan great video…how about mixing in a singles strategy video😊
Have you seen this?

On a scale of 1-10 what is the grip pressure and does it change as you move back?
Always around a 4

Drill drill drill! Hit your shot, make a quick decision, and move!

Is there any real advantage to using 2-hands?
Of course, for most players it’s power, and for others it’s control. Most pros use two handed shots for both.
How do you like the Project 006?
I like it, but not fully used to it yet!

How early can stopping early be?
Before your opponent hits the ball
Not sure what you did to the audio but it sounds like a podcast instead of having natural court acoustics.
Sound quality was very bad, had to do some audio fixing
Corbin Dallas!

2)Don’t lift your body while resetting. Is he lifting his body too much?
At times in this video, yes
Make a video on your new coach. I thought he was the same milo from the podcast.
Milo?
Haha I thought it was this guy ua-cam.com/video/d926wZBrx8Q/v-deo.html but his name is Kyle
Lol
Jordan, I think it was cool how you took a low 2.5 level player and demonstrated the correct ways to learn these shots. Keep up the hard work!
He’s definitely not a 2.5 lol
Is Jordan Filipino?
Yes
👍👍
🤙🏼
This guy could not understand how o get in a wider stace 😂
He’s working on it 😊
