    If you're curious what the other mushrooms are at 2:28 : #1 is in the Laccaria genus, probably Laccaria bicolor but could be laccata. #3 is very likely to be something in the Lactarius deliciosus group, but I'd need to cut the gills to be sure.

    Are you picking for personal use or commercial? How much are you able to take with you?

      @@pavue1984 We only pick for personal use. Depending on the area, some go by gallon and some by pound. The area we went they allow 10 gallons per person. You can check the area before you go. Some may require a forest product harvest permit which you can get it online

      @@pavue1984 We're in Washington State. Where do you live? Washington has a variety of mushrooms...such as morels in the spring, chanterelles in late summer/fall, porcini/boletes and pine/matsutake in the fall (Oct-Nov)

      We just started 2 years ago and consider ourselves newbies. We learn as we go. It's a fun activity and the nutrition benefits from the mushrooms is a plus. Thank you.
