Man, this guy... I've been learning and working on myself for the past 3 and a half years, and he talked of everything so eloquently, so full of wisdom... Hell, I've even forgotten or stopped practicing some of the things, but he reminded me... After 25 minutes I just started weeping and I felt this rush of calmness and voice saying everything's gonna be alright...
Thanks for getting him on Tom, such an amazing episode, one of the best ones, or at least the most wisdom packed ones for sure!

Man, Tom has got to be one of the best interviewer, if not the best, I've ever seen. He actually listens with as much understanding he can from his own and audience's perspective, and ask precise clarifying reflective questions back. What a delight, as far as clarity is concerned.

Each conversation I see others, like you, like me , that are just " Blown Away " by Tom's interviewing prowess; its double sweet that the content is always so intriguing, so stimulating, that Tom's facilitation comes into awareness as co-existing with the content stream, smoothing, streamlining, reinforcing the communicative intent, in ways that sharpen both the output from them but also the integration of it all in my own mind..
      Yeah..he rocks at this.

Sometimes what we think we want, is only what we think we want based on who we think we are. But if who we think we are is actually limited, than what we think we want and the goals that we set will also be limited...”

Illnesses, little education, ex JW witness with so many traumas, no support of family AT ALL, far from my country since 93 and not being able to work legally yet. I am shocked that people find these concepts so deep, when it's the truest form of spirituality. I say that because I hear high-level forms of spirituality from most Impact Theory Guests. Kute is being more detailed because spirituality is his foundation, where as a comeback story or rags to riches story is more sexy or promoted. Calling it poetry is minimizing the profundity of this truth as a foundation for us all, with or without large platforms. 🙏🏾 Thanks for showing UNAPOLOGETIC alignment for me, Kute! I get it & those who talk like this at dinner. 💜

Its interesting that a lot of speakers ask , who are we really, or , learn to trust the process/journey, or that life only gives you what you are ready for, try asking an eleven year old child that has just lost his farther to cancer , "who are you really" or "trust in the journey". my favorite is from Simon Sinek , "WHATS YOR WHY" , But nobody actually tells you how to do it. Ive spent the greater part of my life in a type of wilderness lost in a sea of not knowing what to do, but Tom is such an interesting individual , he brings forth such an amazing array of people that he and his guests give me hope , so keep up the great work/life/passion .

One of the most important moments (there were many) in this interview, was Tom's discernment with how people understand concepts - poetically and logically. They're not exclusive on their own, but the way Kute broke it down for me is that logic can take us from one destination to the other, but the process itself being poetic, is how we live with our commitment and possibilities in one.

And to add to that I think it's very thoughtful of you to stick to a criteria/system that is to accommodate your audience needs and for retention purposes but at the same time I personally have appreciation in you accommodating your own needs at times without thinking about us... It's almost like - 30% focus on what YOU want to focus on when doing these and then the other 70% stick to a criteria fitting your audience needs so you can retain, gain, keep audiences tamed... while challenging ones brain... so they don't complain, and won't come playin.... until they build bigger links in their chain.... I'm just rhyming now... Thanks bud.

I'm generally very happy and outgoing, funny. But I've been super depressed the past few days. I hide it with helping people laugh and never telling anyone.
I'm halfway through this episode and earlier he talked about just being open to opportunity, and how that's when experiences occur. I rolled down my car windows when he said that because I feel that may let "energies" in or the bad ones out, which may be mental but hey I'm trying here. When I'm depressed I'm thinking all about myself, so how would I be open? I'd be closed off.
And now he said to be honest. If I'm going to be honest with myself, and that's a huge one, being honest with MYSELF, I know exactly what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do to fix it.
    Thank you.

There must be more than survival; there has to be love and hope. Having goals for the sake of having goals is empty. Right now I can see a clear opportunity ahead of me, but I’m alone, and I can’t make that goal in itself enough for me. I have to do it for somebody, and I’m not enough. Everything becomes about the expenditure of brute force for no meaningful return without someone to do it with and for.

I can watch something, hear a very interesting concept and tell my sister and next thing you know she gets it but from a biblical point of view and vice versa she can get a "revelation" and tell me and can totally support it with some neuroscience I have heard about. Logical and poetic but still the same thing. There is definitely some kind of magic to the world but I have found that most people who are interested in the unexplained tend to want to keep it that way, you cant understand it you just have to believe and if you think to question too much then you have a problem. But whats the use of something if you cant understand and use it. Weirdly enough in my life I tend to be very logical but I really hope there is more out there for when I die. I cant resist the idea of being connected to an infinite source of intelligence. Definitely wouldnt mind spending eternity understanding everything.

I live mostly in the poetic realm and have to be more mindful to balance with logic. Recently, I learned the word esthet, which is a person who is deeply moved by nature and art. Learning there was a word for such a "type" of person helped me to feel seen and solidified into a "place". And, society growing more and more to see the value in that way of being helps me feel loved and valued :).

@tom that thing about Poetical & Logical is the most shits Ive given thing Ive heard you speak about. Constantly struggling with the process of understanding it myself. We have logic and emption. Science and art. Like using one of Jim Rohns quotes, "Some study the roots, others are picking the fruits." I dont know what is the deciding factor of which or why you choose one and not both. It was a GREAT share and thank you for putting it out there.

I love this. Its ridiculously tough listening to that inner voice, especially when your mind says Go Go Go Lol!!!! It really is right though most of the time, so hard to know which voice it is, in the moment though!!!!

This was very helpful.. The older I get, the more I believe that it's okay to just be who you are born to be without the need to try and make existential sense about all of it.. Live, be, do. Enjoy life while it lasts.. As short as it seems to be.. You will have an eternity to know your spiritual self soon enough! Or maybe get back to it..

What he is explaining (32:32) is Clairsentience, Clairsentience is on the spectrum of psychic abilities. It is sometimes called 'clear feeling' or 'clear sensing'. It is a way of being so empathic that you can actually feel another persons suffering and pain. I am both so i can relate to this. Even when listening to music I can literally feel how the artist performing feel not just the words I can feel it in my body in my heart as a physical and emotional sensation. It is more common than people think- most people have this gift and just aren’t in tune with it and resist it.

You say “I am coming from the logical you are coming at it from the ‘poetic’” Tom this is not something you can understand with knowledge the way he is speaking is not ‘poetic’ it is from a higher perspective that goes beyond our third dimensional beliefs, you can call it ‘spiritual’ and condense it to that label for your human brain to try to understand but you will not fully understand what he is talking about unless you experience it for yourself. There is a higher intelligence and he is trying to explain it in third dimensional terms for the conditioned human to grasp and understand. His heart is wide open he is so full of love and wisdom and he is gifted with the ability to condense his expanded consciousness and inner knowing into words that the every day average human can understand. If you want to learn and understand you will have to open your heart and be willing to believe that you are more than this physical body and your identity you will be shown your own truth and search within you will find that we are all one. One essence. We are not SEPARATE and believing we are separate is the ultimate suffering. Everyone you see is a mirror of yourself. We are all on a journey to realize this and to truly love ourselves and love each other because ultimately we are all connected. Beyond what our physical minds can understand. This is not meant to sound like I feel superior to anyone I am very humble and don’t go around preaching beliefs or trying to change anyone else’s perspective I am just sharing my own experience by no means trying to discount or judge anyone else. Much respect Tom!
