Almost 5 months in I finally got my FIRST sale today! And it's a bulk order! Your videos have been so helpful and I keep revisiting/rewatching to remind myself of the advice you've shared. Thank you so much for your positivity and telling us to not give up half way.
Cassiy thank you so much for having me!! I had a blast and my hope is that it can happen to you as well but you can't give up and you need to keep going :)
Thank you for sharing your story! Your story is right where I'm at right now! Started January 2024, 6 months in with 3 sales, but I know I haven't been putting in the work that I should. Thanks for the inspiration to press on and get more serious!
Hey, I just wanted to say how encouraging your story was and thank you for sharing! My shop is about 19 months old and I have almost $8k in revenue. I am chugging along daily watching videos like Cass's! I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to learning from you, too!❤
I am so excited. I just started my t-shirt shop on Etsy last week and I have already sold 2 shirts this week. Your videos are so helpful and I am so blessed that I have found you. Once I get enough money coming in I definitely want to join your paid group. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I can't even tell you how excited I am right now.
I am an aircraft mechanic in the PH, trying to start a side business POD on Etsy, I opened my shop a week ago, no sales yet but got one favorite THAT made me so happy!! and listening to you guys specially Briggette I believe I can also achieve what to me right now is impossible! THANKS for sharing your experiences and knowledge! so genuine and true!
I have followed you for a bit now, Cassiy, and I came across Briggette's vids just the other day. While you have given me so much helpful information I was still so intimidated by printify and hadn't taken the plunge, but I watched a couple of Briggette's videos and she really addressed my fears and I finally went for it. I now have some printify listings up and I feel so accomplished. lol Big thanks to both of you for sharing all your wisdom!
GREAT interview Cassiy! I loved it. All the questions that you made to her and her answers was exactly what I was needed to hear after 8 months of designing and listing.

I just made my first 3 sales today! i started a few months ago but didn't start really diving into creating quality listings until the last few weeks and your videos have been so incredibly helpful. Excited to see where it goes!
Thank you so much! I opened my shop in Q4 2023 (impulsively lol) with zero knowledge and didn't make any sales. Being a high school math teacher, Feb - April is crunch time...and we got a puppy for Christmas so I was physically and mentally exhausted and put my shop on hold. But in May I started really trying to understand the BUSINESS aspect of this. It is not a get rich quick side hustle... lol Cassiy you are the one who inspired me to get started and I love how Briggette said "If these people can do it, I can too!" Because that is my motto also. I hope I can one day be as successful as both of you. Until then I will keep watching and learning! (Love the Q&A on whats selling and shipping!!) Any thoughts on paying for premium printify and seo tools at the beginning? Spending a lot and not making a lot..lol should I just stick it out? Thank you to you both!
@cassiyjohnson do you have any videos that go over how to change the shipping profile for all listings to start charging for shipping? Also, a video to bulk change pricing for a loss leader?
Hi, do you always send a proof to customer and wait for approval on personalised designs or send straight to print with what they have written in the customise box? Love these inspiring stories.
Future Video Suggestion: how to keep track of designs and mock-ups... storing them, naming them, storage programs/apps, what and when to keep and delete, etc. I'm starting to get bogged down with organizing things. Thank you for your videos. They are all wonderful.
Totally feel you on this! I’ll give you a quick idea though. Once you upload your mock-up photos to the listing, just delete them. If you ever need a design that is already uploaded to Printify, then you can just go to “your files” on Printify and redownload it! In this case I’ll search the SKU number from Etsy for what I want to find it, get the name of the file, and then go to the files and download it. Canva you can from the projects page click the three buttons on the top right and add searchable tags to easily find it later, or you can add those projects to a folder. I would only do this if they are custom listings that you’ll need to access again later though! Overall, I don’t think you need things again later very often except for custom canva files, so I’d try not to stress about being organized. Hope this helps in the meantime!
I see the importance of adding personalizing the listing. Wow it is literally losing putting money in the table without that. I agree etsy ads is a great risk to try.
I've been open 2.5 weeks ago (I'm in-between jobs so i've been able to put work in) I've got an almost sale that the customer cancelled like straight away, and 10! abandoned carts. Is that normal i have 185 listings up
Hi Cassiy, Is it true that Etsy is getting rid of accounts that use mockups purchased from Etsy rather than using the mockups provided by Printify or Printiful? Are you going to go back and change all of your thumbnails? I heard this from the Starla Moore page.
Thank you for you videos. I just have to say though, in case no one else has told you, in some spots it’s hard to hear you when you talk. The condenser on whatever it is you used to collaborate this video with her would cancel you out when you both were trying to talk at the same time, degrading he audio quality. Especially you versus your guest. There was some spots I had to play several times to try to make out what you were saying. For example the parts about the Etsy free shipping button. I think you said to turn it off. . I played it back like 3 times to try to make out what all you were saying, but I couldn’t make it out. Thank you for your videos. Some of the videos are too vague and I wish you could do a more in depth step by step and show how what we need to do to collaborate the design apps such as the one you mentioned that does things for you. It’ makes it all overwhelming and confusing on when you talk about all the different apps choices. I just wish there was one basic instruction that is step by step from beginning to end, how to start the accounts, design, collaborate, sell. You’ve been successful and make it seem like it’s been easy for you. But when there’s too many options you speak about, all the different design sites and mock up sites, it makes me want to give up before Ive even tried to get started because it’s too confusing to choose from all the different design sites . That’s probably why many of us never start at all. There has got to be an easier, comprehensive way to get started from the get go. Too many UA-cam videos on the topic and it makes it seem impossible to actually get started. It seems the successful people are the ones making the videos about POD, use this app, use that app, print this print that. But none of it is areal instructional or tutorial, just click baits to make the UA-camr money. I’m not shaky that’s what you are doing, I’m just saying in general no one is actually showing anyone how to do this stuff so we can get started. It seems unattainable because there’s so many confusing steps to the process. I’ve been wanting to do this POD business so bad, but I keep putting it off and watching videos, but it’s because I’m still searching the videos that will actually show how people like YOU are actually doing it, and it just sends on a never ending video hunt to no avail.
I like to keep my old listings for around a year to give them a chance to sell but I may copy them and make edits or list new designs in those same niches as well!
hi cassiy im confused with the item prices on printify, it says for example a sweatshirt is 22pounds and it says i pay for it, how do i benefit if im paying for the printify product. please make a video for noobs like me who knows nothing about selling.
Hey. The best advice I can give you for that is this. You have to take the price of the item on printify, then then add a design and sell it for higher. Once you have, put your design on it, customers will pay more once the item as long as it's a good one and not a crazy price.. for example. If the printify price is 22 pounds for the item and shipping then you could sell it for 30 pounds and 5 pounds for shipping. Thats how you get profits
Could I have a shirt that says bingo on it? I would guess monopoly’s more specific and definitely edgy but what do you think ? The design idea is centered around the game

Hi Cassiy! Great interview and I’ve been following her before she hit the 1,000. She has a lot of great information as you do! I’m struggling with the whole sub niching thing. I guess I think if I go specific on a general niche that there won’t be that many people searching for it. Like for instance, if I did mom and niched down to bonus mom, how do I know that people would actually be searching for that? That is just an example. So I’m just struggling on thinking that people won’t be searching for it if I niche down.
Don’t have fear! You’d be surprised what people search for and what’s in demand. Some sub niches you’ve never heard of will have the potential to be best sellers. Bonus mom is actually a huge niche it’s related to being a step mom and imagine how many people have step moms that they want to gift for. Go for it! You won’t know until you try :)
check out Cassiy interview with Hannah Ebeling she does a lot of cross niching and if you go to her channel she actually has a download that will help you on what to cross niche or niche down with
I think I might go over it in this video about free shipping ua-cam.com/video/Ow_-14t7z6s/v-deo.htmlsi=ECa_W8oVIsiJGK6l . You definitely don't need to have the 35+ free shipping on to be successful!

So do you have to keep putting more and more products for print on demand to get consistent sale?
So what design platform did you use. What was your experience of learning to use it?
Cassiy I have a question. Should we put the same design on both a tshirt and also a sweatshirt (separate listings)?
That's what I do; it creates more listings and more chances to be seen.
Yes that is exactly what I do ❤️
Does printify charge to your debit or credit card and then you pay it back when you receive payment from Etsy?
