This sounds silly, but I find a lot of public figures/influencers talk fast and extremely animated. I love the speed of your conversations and the relaxed easy energy you both have. I appreciate watching your content.
I will say one thing, a lot of people are doing Christmas earlier and earlier, but waiting until after Remembrance day, Canada (Veterans Day USA) is a sign of respect and an active choice to honour the holiday dedicated to people who sacrificed for our freedom.

I feel that doing away with dislike button is overboard. If you are out on social media you are open to different opinions. Not everyone likes the same thing and that’s a lesson that needs to be learned that different opinions should not validate you. On the other hand why is it so important to dislike or be negative just move on. I enjoy your podcast

Everyone should do their own thing. Personally, in both mine and my husband’s families, we don’t decorate until the Friday after Thanksgiving so that our children can be focused on being thankful for all their blessings. They have the entire month of December to think about Santa Clause. The real “reason for the season”, the birth of Christ, doesn’t loom in their little minds, until right before Christmas.
That's how we do it in our house as well. To each their own with decorations and such. But nothing red & green and Christmas comes out in our house till after we have given Thanks of all our many blessings. As well as enjoyed the Season of Thanksgiving with family and friends. ...
Then we will start to focus on celebrating Jesus Birthday. ♥️

Egg Nog is absolutely...THE BOMB!! And, yes, the reaction to cilantro IS actually in your DNA! Look it up ;-)
My understanding (of the number of dislikes no longer being displayed on UA-cam) is that you still can dislike videos, but the number of dislikes won’t be publicly displayed on the video for the public to see. The video creator can still see the number of dislikes and the breakdown of analytics associated with them, at least from my understanding. It just prevents publicly humiliating and bullying creators via the dislike button.
1. Good point about using ‘strong’ language that changes the ‘real’ headline into something it isn’t
2. I do not like egg nog. I do like to use mayo, but do not smother it on sandwiches the way my husband does.
3. I also use the word crazy and being aware catch myself cringing when that happens. Words are powerful …. Any suggestions for a substitute? I usually use it to describe myself or a situation eg It was crazy out there. Came home to a huge mess and I went nuts. I was pissed! No disrespect meant to anyone struggling with mental health ….. yet I know using that word is politically incorrect thus I cringe when I use it. Suggestions appreciated.
4. Andrew you do put your foot in your mouth often. It is adorable but usually you know when it is not going to come out right. When you get that alert I’d just stop and consider expressing your thought at a later time or when you have the ‘right’ words.
5. Watched the clip. Not the best acting job, but it was adorable. You do much better just being your own self.
6. Love the effort you put into communication and having a good marriage. Very inspirational even to this old grandma.

I think the Adele thing is actually more directed at how the media is focusing on her weight loss. People are so steeped in diet culture they have to praise weight loss. Some of the headlines have been “Adele lost the weight but not her voice.”

I was just going to kindly correct them about the drink they love and see you said it. 😀 "OR-CHA-TA" (horchata) IS an awesome drink that is totally special to experience for special occasions like their enjoying it when they visit his brother's mission). Similar to eggnog, it is very sweet and not that healthy for you so it helps you to enjoy it only for special occasions.

I'm Team Eggnog, but I'm very picky. When I was growing up our local dairy had the BEST eggnog, but after they were bought out by a conglomerate, it was awful. I've been on a quest for the eggnog of my childhood ever since.
This does not resonate with me, or I cant relate to this may be a way to think of the "this doesn't serve me" thought...
