It seemed awesome at first but you quickly realize that having infinite money just ruins the game, and within a few days I stopped playing and never touched the game again

Makes me wonder how test drive unlimited 2 got ported the Xbox 360, that game had 2 SIGNIFICANTLY larger maps than fh2, had a full weather system, had dense forestry and city areas, and most of it could be driven in.
It's the difference between a game being built for the hardware and a game being ported to lesser hardware. TDU2 was designed with the PS3 and 360 in mind so they basically had to build it around working on those console, whereas FH2 was built around the xbone and then ported later in development, and because the hardware was so much worse they had to cut a lot of corners compared to Eden Games making TDU2

@Alexander Moreau it's basically the ps2 version with no interior view and obviously a graphical downgrade to run on the psp. Still cool the island is available
Aside from lack of Ferrari (which Atari was able to afford for the XBox 360 version of TDU due to sublicensing at a discount it through Forza's Turn 10), the version of the original Test Drive Unlimited on the Playstation 2 is amazing for the console and has some fun features not in the XBox 360 version of the game like single-player mode clubs.
I didn't have a xbox one at the time, so I ended up having a lot of experience with the 360 version. I remember very well how weird it was to drive in certain areas, but above all, I remember how broken races with SUV's were. The Ai had no idea how to handle them, so every time there was a corner, all of them would flip the car. It was a very easy and weird way to win races. Also, this game is the only one I can remember having a money glitch that gives you the max ammount of money that for some reason, never got patched
I remember that money glitch. I believe it occurred when you do a fast travel but don't have the money to pay for it. You will fast travel still but if you check, you'll see that you'll have max money
Also there were always two Willy's Jeeps that came last with a Hummer H1, for some reason Supervan was in the SUV category, and the barnfind Jeep was pretty much busted if you tuned it right since it is much smaller and nimbler than the big hulking trucks/SUVs you are going up against while the only other two nimble cars were too anemic to compete.
On the XBOX 360 version there was a glitch which always shook me everytime which was when you are speeding down the highway more than 160mph in FH2 XBOX360 you'd crash into an invisible wall and sends your car flying. That scares me all the time because i dont expect this but i did.
I think Sumo were dealt a shitty hand with this game. I suspect Microsoft realised the Xbox One wasn’t doing as well as they hoped and realised they could kinda make Horizon 2 work … I just think they realised at the 11th hour and gave Sumo the bare minimum time, budget and assets to get it done. The game obviously uses FH1 as a base, and as you said, some parts look fleshed out and decent, but the rest was slapped together at the last possible second. The F&F expansion actually has drivable docks, which is why I definitely think they wanted to do more, but just couldn’t.
Does the F&F expansion have the full map unlocked tho? IIRC, it's more like a demo with a couple cars and like 35% of the map. That would explain why the docks are driveable
@@crispybottom You’re right, wasn’t the full map so that maybe the reason they opened it up to add variety. Now that I think about it, the Xbox One version had events that took place at the docks (along with voice clips mentioning it directly), which Sumo couldn’t easily repurpose into another area for their version, so I’m guessing they had no choice but to add it in. If it wasn’t due to lack of time in the base game, I’d put it down on some sort of technical problem. I do remember the docks in the expansion having very bad collision physics with the ground, and it wasn’t all that fun as the fences and stuff weren’t destructible. Might be why they just decided to lazily stick barricades in the way in the full game since they couldn’t get it working quite right in time, but could then polish it a bit and get it working enough for the expansion.
@@crispybottom I did play the Xbox One "DLC(?)" of the F&F Horizon 2. It was, like a Demo for the main game. And yes. The Map did have Restrictions on it. Soild "You can NOT go there" walls.
it actually kept most of the xbox one's version main gameplay and was generally the same game... unlike whatever the regular forza horizon 2 for the 360 was

I remember i grinded for a laferrai in this version of the game and when i finally got it i could not even get top 3 in races due to the fact that the ai would rubberband relentlessly. It was the most unbalanced racing i have ever seen.

I played this back in the day and can confirm, this video is 100% accurate it really was that bad and at the time I was around 13 and didn't realise it was so different from the xb1 version so people were surprised when I said h2 was terrible

This game was my first exposure to Horizon series and to be honest... It was really fun for me. I noticed the problems wirh progression even back then, but the soundtrack and overall vibe of european summer festival really spoke to me. To this date, I think that radio stations from this game are the very best in the series, and I listen to it pretty much daily.

@Cody Machado it's called music preference? Not everyone likes gangsta rap, Katy perry, or some emo shit that yells "ALL THE PAIN IN MY HEARTTTT" Regardless while it may not be my preference, I loved the music in this game and it gives me a lot of nostalgia when I hear any of it, I also have enough decency to respect anyone that likes it because it's just a fucking preference
as someone who owned both versions of the game, this version still holds a spot in my heart for those difficult days of coming home from school, not feeling too well, booting up the 360, and just free roaming (what was left of) the map to ease the mind. sold my 360 ages ago to fund my xbox one, so i can’t compare the gameplay now on my series s, but even after so long i remember how glitchy the map was on the 360 version lmao. made for fun times watching everyone 2 wheel and seeing if the AI would be able to recover. seeing it happen here was very nostalgic, but nowhere near as nostalgic as the Forza 4 music in your outro… lord do i miss that game with all my heart
I can't compare the 2 because 10 yr old me got mad that the kinect that I was using as a mic (I know that is evil) and hit it which was on the 360 and absolutely fried the disc from the console moving
I remember there being a glitch in the game, if you deleted “Forza Horizon Update” from your storage and went on launch day and used the teleport anywhere function the game glitched and gave you unlimited money. That was fun
I've got my mom to buy me the game as my birthday gift as a kid, played it a LOT, then after some time I went on UA-cam to watch other people playing and I saw all the things that their game had, bunch of extra features (including tuning), weather, game modes, a proper Fast and Furious DLC, and less bugs and oh boy it sucked
I had a friend who still had a 360, and also had this game for that console. We both had the thrustmaster Ferrari 458 wheels for our respective consoles (I had an XB1), so I could have a similar medium to try both versions of the game. I'm surprised you didn't say anything about it, but one of the things that they took out, that shocked me the most, is that there is NO OPTION to TUNE the car. Like, gearing, tire pressures, suspension, NOTHING. That page of the game was unceremoniously ripped out from underneath it. If it wasn't already bad enough, here's something else...enjoy whatever setup the game gives you. Because you don't get any other options. Piece of crap...
Yeah, PG overhauled the engine for the Xbox One version of FH2 - new lighting system, much higher model and polygon budget, new physics system (like literally NEW, it's easier to say what they *didn't* change\tweak) with tuning, etc. *None* of this is in the 360 port, this is literally FH1 underneath, with barely any changes. That's also one of the reasons it looks so bad - that engine was just not designed for open spaces
yeah, i dont really remember about bugs and shit, but no tuning i remember really well, god damn, why? this is wont affect the perfomance at all, but they deleted it
The ps2-ps3 transition almost stopped me from playing video games, I begged for months to get the bigs 2 for my birthday, I got it for the PS2 and the differences were night and day, I felt like I was duped and I didn't even pay for the game myself. It's more assuring that it's not as prevalent of an issue(that case was whole game modes not even being available), as now the closest similarity is with ps4-ps5 with mlb the show stadium editor is only ps5
@@hueitor1748 there are a few games nowadays that I wish had at least a few glitches. I absolutely love out of bounds stuff and finding secrets and just generally looking at the details.
I played that for alot now, and lemme just say these: -Janky hitboxes, you will hit a building even if you didn't -Weird wreck physics -Sometimes AI is dumb -Infinite money glitch where if you do your first fast travel but don't have enough money for it, you'll somehow fast travel anyway and get so much money -This is subjective but holy shit it looks worse than FH1
I’m glad I never thought to look for the differences when I played it. I had it for X360 because I had a PS4 instead of XB1, and never encountered any of these problems or noticed the closed off areas. The map naturally wasn’t as good as FH1 but I still enjoyed it for a long time.
I think a lot of this comes down to it being rushed. I mean, that part of the map with the containers that was left out actually was present in the Xbox 360 version of the Fast and Furious expansion, so I don't think it was because the hardware wasn't capable. Btw, I bought this game on launch and I loved it, even if I was a bit disapointed by the missing features. The map felt big and it had some interesting cars
In fact, the Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 was the best-selling here in Brazil, people couldn't afford to pay almost 4 times the minimum wage for a new console, so many were stuck with the Xbox 360(let it be said in passing, it was already quite expensive, it was launched costing 13 times the minimum wage if I remember correctly)
I remember playing the FH2. Was my first experience with Forza and I liked it! I never bought the expansions, just played the F&F Expansion Demo on X360. Even the Demo had "more" to show than the actual game itself lol. The Docks for example were open, there were trees in the little patches on the road, etc.. The Demo was more fun than the FH2 base. Sad but true.
I had this game as a kid and legit thought it was broken. UA-cam videos depicted weather and amazing graphics, whilst my game had neither and looked worse than Horizon 1. Obviously it didn’t take me long to realise that there are 2 different versions, but my disappointment was immeasurable XD. At least when I finally got a Xbox One I had an absolute blast with the proper game. One of my favourite racing games of all time.
I remember wanting this game so bad as a kid and bought the 360 version out of excitement since I didnt have an Xbox One, only to watch some videos and stuff about it as I was playing it and realising that I was missing half the features, big sections of the map and the game just being straight worse. I still had fun with it but my disappointment was immeasurable. I thought it was just me who thought this but nice to see I wasnt the only one who got got by this
Me too, I watched a whole (40 or 50 part?) playthrough of FH2 and I was so incredibly excited when my dad bought it for me on the 360. Had the exact same realizations as you when I played it for a while.
I don’t care if it’s the worst game ever, this was my first ever game, and the nostalgia is real. I still sometimes play it and exploit the out of bounds glitches, like the massive flip you would do at the entrance of Castelleto, and the massive jump that enabled you to cross the indestructible fence Oh yea, also the random horror scream you could sometimes hear at night (I still don’t know where that’s come from)
I absolutely cannot believe that Sumo Digital were responsible for this port's bad quality, two years earlier they released Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, which is a fantastic Kart Racer. There had to be a limited budget and way too little time to get this thing done.
Funny thing is though, some of the cars that were DLC in the Xbox One version were just there in the base game. Y'know, like they should have been, because half of those DLC cars were also base game cars in the first game.
Before I had the Xbox One I looked everywhere for this game after playing FH1, couldn't find it at all physically at any Games Shops for Christmas so my dad eventually got it for me for my Birthday. I spent so long with it, thankfully I was young so it didn't really bother me much especially as I didn't know anything better. I remember the Invisible Walls everywhere pissing me off but I spent hours on the game just messing around and grinding for the fancier cars and testing them lol When I eventually got an Xbox One I went straight to FH3 and then 4 and now 5. A while ago I bought FH2 for the Xbox One and the difference is insane, I knew there was a very big difference but actually playing it is something else entirely.
If I remember correctly, The Docks did get opened up and became accessible in the 360 version with the Fast & Furious DLC. However, The Docks did have all of the textures and objects rendered in the base game, but was left very unfinished. The road leading to The Docks had collisions halfway, so even if you managed to glitch in past the barrier, you couldn't actually /drive/ to the docks. (Glitch Tutorial for those who are curious: ua-cam.com/video/_WQ2rwc32f4/v-deo.html) I'm still kinda disappointed that SUMO didn't include The Docks as a playable area in base game as it was proven possible to when they released the F&F Expansion.
21:09 that's a middle wheel, something that provides a degree of control and propulsion even if no wheels touch down. Makes the control less twitchy as well. It's now a Twitter meme to implement small indie games based on just a spherical physical middle wheel with car just being there visually, it's fun, it works... Anyway Sumo must have been in so much pain working on this and trying to meet the deadline.
I remember finding several areas in this game where you could clip through the ground and fall forever- there’s one along the outer metal barrier on the main festival(keep grinding on the wall and you’ll get it), and a whole area near sisteron just off of the zigzag dirt path hill climb- there’s a part along the first cliff where the barrier doesnt cover the cliff entirely and you can sneak through, allowing you to drive to an area with no collision. There’s also a bug with head to head races started near the aerodrome where the route actually goes out of bounds- the ai driver will drive into a wall forever until you abort the race- it is possible to have the game respawn you out of bounds and finish the race but i forget exactly how to do it- this is one of the biggest out of bounds areas in the game
The title screen is actually playing two different music tracks at the same time, not just the same one twice. It’s playing the XB1 title music as well as some other song.
Hey I’m new to the channel but just wondering if you ever heard of “import tuner challenge”for the Xbox 360. This game was my whole childhood and would love to see you play it .
My introduction to the Horizon series was 3 that my brother got me for Christmas and I can't begin to describe how fantastic it was, I loved everything about it and 5 gives me that same feeling.
This was the first horizon that i have played, and sure itd not as good as Xbox One version, or Horizon 1. But its still a game i enjoy, plus the more grippy handling and no wheelspins makes the game less easy (i personally feel that wheelspins suck the fun out of SP experience)
As a kid, I did not care whatsoever about how the game looked. AlI I remember was having the time of my life playing this game and feeling so happy once I beaten the final race. Looking at it now, I can say I was ripped off from what FH2 would’ve looked like if it wasn’t for hardware limitations, but I still have a soft spot for the 360 version
And the fact that Horizon 1 had better graphics... Also they should have just delayed this version since Nfs Rivals runs just fine on the 360 Only if we could mod the shit out of this version and make it playable
I played this game day one. FH1 was a blast and was so hyped for the sequel. As I was literally 1 hour into the game, I felt many things were off. After 30 hours or so, I finished the game but felt kinda disappointed. Sometime later, I played the X1 version in a tech market and then I understood that this was literally the inferior port that I was not aware of. Shame X360 got the short end of the stick.
I confess that I had a memory of this game being less problematic in my Xbox 360 days, but even though it contains several bugs and poorly constructed scenarios, even so, it was through this version that I got to know the franchise, I remember going to the store with intending to buy a racing game, and I came across Lamborghini on the cover of the game and it marked that the game was even dubbed into my language, everything caught my attention and I took this game home, and my god , I loved this game so much, some time later I bought the first game and I loved it too, actual days having an Xbox Series S I follow the franchise a lot, it is without a doubt my only and favorite racing franchise, I have all the FH, unfortunately I only have the 5 and 6 Forza motorsport, I am very grateful to this version of FH 2 of the 360 for introducing me to the franchise, playing this game in the version of One really is much better, but I still love this version of the 360, the bugs really are very ugly to look at, lol, it's more about nostalgic, I remember being charged for the songs and the number of cars, Forza Horizon 2 was undoubtedly my entry into the admiration of the automotive world, without a doubt it is one of my favorites in the franchise, I was about 14 to 15 years old when I met her, and I follow her until today and always
Fun facts. Wheelspins were actually introduced in the 1st Horizon game. You got them by winning online races/games. If you think those glitches you experienced were bad, you need to try the fast travel for max money glitch using the fast travel anywhere perk. Just make sure you have don't have the amount of money needed to fast travel. So if it's 6,000 credits to fast travel, make sure you have less than that. Not only will you still fast travel, you'll be given 999,999,999 credits as well. Only works if the update is NOT downloaded as it was patched with a later title update.

I'm so very sorry that you had to experience this monstrosity of a game I'm sure the comments have already said that this probably wasn't an all hands on deck project, because the 360 can very likely do better Thankfully we've moved on from this era of game porting, and hopefully it stays that way
I got this for Christmas as a kid, and honestly I don't remember any of that jankyness. I do remember going back to FH1 after a while because I found it too boring though lol. I also had no idea that the Xbox One and 360 versions were different
I don't think this game is too bad. It's competent at least and I THINK it runs on the same engine (or something derived of) the Outrun 2006 / Sonic All Star Racing games, since it was made by Sumo Digital.
I think MS gave Sumo the FH1 engine and said ‘good luck’. Physics wise it’s more or less the first game again just with more grip. Modders have been able to import stuff from FH1 into here with ease (and vice versa) as well, so they’re definitely similar at their core.
It did get dlc’s but you can’t buy them anymore and I haven’t played in awhile(1 week) so I think the dlc’s were fast and furious and the Porsche car pack thing(it gave you more Porsches so I’m calling it a pack)
I remember the 360 version gave you 50,000 credits whenever you beat a friends speed trap, so me and one of my friends came up with the idea of taking turns beating each other at every speed trap, gradually increasing the speed each time Ended up buying every car in the game after about a day lmao
I discovered that I have a friend that worked in QA on this game for precisely 3 days It's incredibly clear to me that Sumo Digital was given the engine of the first game, the assets of the second, and absolutely no time to put it all together
I remember when this game came out i didn't have a xbox one, so i was happy to see it coming on the 360. the main thing i was excited for was the weather, but that never came. a lot of the things you found broken in this must of flew past 10 year old me. I also remember when the F&F dlc came out, i was so mad about it cause they released it for free for 3 days but kept it under the radar and then announced it once it became pay to play. the money glitch everyone is talking about i also remember. you had to unlock the perk that lets you fast travel and then go into the 360 game save files and look for a file that was 7mb and delete it, then start up the game again and fast travel somewhere on the highway, and wholah 999,999,999cr in your bank. but overall I had a great time with the game.
It was my first Forza and I played it in 2022 I felt it was a great visual game and great races on 360 I don't get why people hate it I think that's because I haven't played next gen games
Watching gameplay of this and any Horizon game whose servers are gone makes me very sad. Knowing memories of this game will never be experienced by me or my friends ever again is depressing as hell

I like how you used soundtrack from games like need for speed carbon and midnight club 3 dub edition remix throughout this video, really made me feel nostalgic af.
Yeah i remember playing this and being disappointed, i also remember falling through the floor more than once, oh and the barren wasteland environments weren't good either 💀 Also i remember being blown away that you could just plow through vegetation and fields, i got super hyped for it and then my disappointment was infinite when this was what i got, i think this is why i stopped playing forza actually
Bro I played this game for 2 years straight and i didn't have any bugs. also i was playing on xbox 360.The graphics are not like you showed us because you have low graphics settings i think. its not a good forza game but its not as bad back in the game got stop updated.
I really don't envy the team that had to port this over. Having to port over a game designed around for a far more powerful console with 10 times the ram available then shove that into a different engine had to have been a pain in the ass. It's far from the worst cross platform from that the generation and the stuff they missed where probably time related.
I had a friend that was unfortunate enough to buy the 360 version and he never realized how superior the next gen at a the time was. Compared to today, Back then the consoles really stepped up there game in quality.
The funniest part of all this to me is that the fast and furious version of FH2 had better lighting, better graphics, the map was more open and also had the dock area available and that was also on the 360 but released way later so they clearly had the capabilities to fix FH2 but just didnt
I remember when playing in a private session I had to ask everyone to stop moving when I wanted to change car on the spot because the game would crash otherwise
Honestly, from a development perspective, I feel like they could've saved on some space by scrapping all that invisible collision. When you got stopped from jumping over the wall I rolled my eyes in disappointment.
I'll never forget the disappointment of buying this game at full price back when it released, and then looking at the Xbox One version and realizing all the features that I missed out on. Microsoft really wanted me to buy an Xbox One.

I also noticed that a few areas on the map would make the car slide out and invisible speed bumps!
To be fair in the launch version of the Xbox One Microsoft was still delusional regarding the Kinect... And the Media Features of it...

Glad I wasn’t the only one 🤣
yeah i used to do that a lot when i played
I remember i grinded for a laferrai in this version of the game and when i finally got it i could not even get top 3 in races due to the fact that the ai would rubberband relentlessly. It was the most unbalanced racing i have ever seen.

I've only ever played the XBox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 and thought it was fine other than how the northeast corner of the map feels empty, as though there was meant to be more up there but they ran out of time or money.
I remember playing this on my 360 back in the day and I absolutely loved it, it was also the most beautiful game I’d have ever seen back then. So many memories
Saaaame! I just got my 360 and had never had such a powerful system before, this game was my life!

This game was my first exposure to Horizon series and to be honest... It was really fun for me. I noticed the problems wirh progression even back then, but the soundtrack and overall vibe of european summer festival really spoke to me. To this date, I think that radio stations from this game are the very best in the series, and I listen to it pretty much daily.
same, I remember buying it and kept reading the back cover til I got home, fired up my 360 and had tons of fun. Somehow didn't know about the xbox one version 'til very later. Also yesssss the radio stations (basic ones) were a solid 10/10
How tf do you listen to that crap everyday wtf?!? That’s comical at the least

Horizon pulse "the sea" is so nostalgic, the soundtrack of this game is very good
@Cody Machado it's called music preference? Not everyone likes gangsta rap, Katy perry, or some emo shit that yells "ALL THE PAIN IN MY HEARTTTT"
Regardless while it may not be my preference, I loved the music in this game and it gives me a lot of nostalgia when I hear any of it, I also have enough decency to respect anyone that likes it because it's just a fucking preference
as someone who owned both versions of the game, this version still holds a spot in my heart for those difficult days of coming home from school, not feeling too well, booting up the 360, and just free roaming (what was left of) the map to ease the mind. sold my 360 ages ago to fund my xbox one, so i can’t compare the gameplay now on my series s, but even after so long i remember how glitchy the map was on the 360 version lmao. made for fun times watching everyone 2 wheel and seeing if the AI would be able to recover. seeing it happen here was very nostalgic, but nowhere near as nostalgic as the Forza 4 music in your outro… lord do i miss that game with all my heart
That's also one of the reasons it looks so bad - that engine was just not designed for open spaces
yeah, i dont really remember about bugs and shit, but no tuning i remember really well, god damn, why? this is wont affect the perfomance at all, but they deleted it
@@m1sst4k37 But they DIDN'T delete it - it was never there to begin with. Again, 360 FH2 was built on FH1, which never had tuning, either...
I actually want to play this just to see its problems myself. It would probably end up being quite fun, but broken as all hell...

It's not fun, it's stale and boring af
I played that for alot now, and lemme just say these:
-Janky hitboxes, you will hit a building even if you didn't
-Weird wreck physics
-Sometimes AI is dumb
-Infinite money glitch where if you do your first fast travel but don't have enough money for it, you'll somehow fast travel anyway and get so much money
-This is subjective but holy shit it looks worse than FH1
Some of the environments in this game look like liminal spaces with how empty they are.
It's creepily similar to TDU 1 in flatness
If this is the game Microsoft wants you to forget, what about Forza street?
Forza Street doesn’t count since it isn’t anything like a Forza game. This is by far the worst Forza game you can play right now.
once forza customs is shutdown it will become the game ms will want you to forget
Pelo menos agora o xbox one usado pode ser acessível :/
I remember playing the FH2. Was my first experience with Forza and I liked it! I never bought the expansions, just played the F&F Expansion Demo on X360. Even the Demo had "more" to show than the actual game itself lol. The Docks for example were open, there were trees in the little patches on the road, etc.. The Demo was more fun than the FH2 base. Sad but true.
I liked this game. Never had big promblems with it and still playing it sometimes when 3, 4 and 5 feels boring.
One of my favourite racing games of all time.
it is better than not even getting to play it for sure
I still sometimes play it and exploit the out of bounds glitches, like the massive flip you would do at the entrance of Castelleto, and the massive jump that enabled you to cross the indestructible fence
Oh yea, also the random horror scream you could sometimes hear at night (I still don’t know where that’s come from)
Yeahh it the first ever person I’ve heard bring up the girl screaming. Always freaked tf out of me
I absolutely cannot believe that Sumo Digital were responsible for this port's bad quality, two years earlier they released Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, which is a fantastic Kart Racer. There had to be a limited budget and way too little time to get this thing done.
Actually, FH1 did introduce wheelspins, because after a couple of street races in all 3 hubs you would get a wheelspin to win a car
I remember the Invisible Walls everywhere pissing me off but I spent hours on the game just messing around and grinding for the fancier cars and testing them lol
When I eventually got an Xbox One I went straight to FH3 and then 4 and now 5.
(Glitch Tutorial for those who are curious: ua-cam.com/video/_WQ2rwc32f4/v-deo.html)
I'm still kinda disappointed that SUMO didn't include The Docks as a playable area in base game as it was proven possible to when they released the F&F Expansion.
You’re right about the DLC, I had it too. The map was cut in half and we only got the left half. Not sure if it was like that on the XB1 version.
@@gcvcodis6982 It was. Have both versions of F&F expansion, and the maps covered the same areas(effectively France only)...

A man of culture I see!
Also they should have just delayed this version since Nfs Rivals runs just fine on the 360
Only if we could mod the shit out of this version and make it playable
This was my First ever Forza game my parents got me
The memory's still hit but ohh man I had no idea
This always looked like a fever dream

It’s not on Sumo or SEGA’s tech. It’s on Turn 10’s.

Idk what game your playing, but my xbox 360 version was perfect with the intro, good graphics, but still the limited map
I really don't envy the team that had to port this over. Having to port over a game designed around for a far more powerful console with 10 times the ram available then shove that into a different engine had to have been a pain in the ass. It's far from the worst cross platform from that the generation and the stuff they missed where probably time related.
I remember when I first played it, what bothered me the most was how painfully low all in-game sounds were. Really bad

18:50 It can also happen on highways when there is nothing sticking up, too.
Honestly, from a development perspective, I feel like they could've saved on some space by scrapping all that invisible collision. When you got stopped from jumping over the wall I rolled my eyes in disappointment.
