ive done this rabbit one with two bunnys at the bottom. im working on a cats one atm wish i could do them as quick as you. but very good work . keep it up ! inspired :)
Oooh--the long lines at 17:41! This is so very nice. I have never seen a scraperfoil. Are there grooves that the stylus follows? It seems archaic, like fun from the 1930s. Thank you.
@xomgumofosx you can make your own, get foil card and paint over it in black paint (add more than one coat if you need it) then let it dry and scrape away :D hope that helps

I started laughing at one point as i imagined myself doing this video. I would start off very slowly and neatly, progressing at a steady pace. It would then cut to me doing it a little fast, not quite scratching the right bits and moving onto the next scratch a little too quickly. Each time the video cut i would be scratching faster and less accurate as i became more impatient. By the end i would have given up and be scratching franticly all over the paper completely ruining the picture. lol :')
+itsvv You scrape away the top coat on the light areas, and there's foil or something underneath to contrast with the black parts that you leave unscraped. The bunny is part of the top coat, and it comes like that.
You can buy scraperfoil kits that have designs and pictures already printed on them like this. Just type in "scraperfoil" on Google and look at the shopping search items. :]
There is also a technique you can do to transfer a picture onto the board. If you take a piece of paper (preferably tracing paper), you can trace an image onto that sheet of paper and then use a pencil to shade in the entire back of the paper. Put the paper on top of the scraperfoil. Tape it on so it doesn't move. Then, lightly go over the lines on the sheet with something kind of pointed (but not a pen or pencil or else you might rip the paper and make too many / deep marks on the scraperfoil).
You purchase them from craft stores like "AC Moore" and "Micheals" and some small time craft stores may have them. They come in different sizes and some have different colors like Bronze foil and green foil, and i once saw a purple foil one of a dolphin. You can purchase them online too, google Engraving Art or Scraperfoil and you'll see the results.

They probably replace the nib. There isn't much option to make stuff like that sharpen aside from replacing the blade all together.
