When my 2 older Soundqubed HDX3 subwoofers blew my coil came unwound worse than your coils. Those Sundown X subwoofers are very nice if they last that long with you always clipping and putting way more power the subwoofers than they can handle😁👍

Wow those screws really bent! I got some Spax multi purpose screws but to get your screws to bend like that your have some power on those heavy subwoofers 💪 sorry to hear about your subwoofers blowing. I remembered that you reconed them once. Just got to recone them again. I actually seen it on your live stream.

I was same way until I got this place with a garage. 👍
I use structural grade screws with the torq head to mount subs and build boxes they work great not as thick as those lags and just as strong. Jerry ain’t loud uses the same screws. Have you tried those yet. Simson strong tie, spax and grk. Flip the rubber gasket too so whe it’s inverted you can read the sundown branding plus it sits flatter.

You try the blue 1/4 inch tap con concrete screws hold badass in birch and plywood plus there hardned and coated for concrete and pressure wood so they don’t bend give them a try to mount subs?

I put glue on my screws/lag bolts when I'm putting them straight into the wood, with a lock washer if they are mounting the subwoofers haven't had one back out. Ideally, I like to use t-nuts and use Loctite on the bolts, but that isn't always possible.

I definitely need to get bolts that have nuts with lock washers. I can put nuts on from the sealed side of box. It has separate baffle. And thanks 👊😎💯💨
Dude when you recone them order the 8 layer coils with zv6 spiders. I just reconed my xv2's with those and sound quality is amazing and I just set my highest score at 156.01
Wow that's impressive! I was going to upgrade them. But I just have them building them stock. Because I plan on selling them. Because I have some better subs I've been offered. I had to fix the Sundown Xv2 15's because they are to badass just to sit in my garage broken. Also I want to do a recone video to help ppl that haven't ever done it. But 156 is badass! What’s your take on 6th order vs 4th what box style is the dude in the dodge caravan use he has the b2 subs and taramps 15ks
Your talking about my friends Tony white van! It's a beast and a 4th order. Personally I like 4th orders. There easier to build then a 6th. But a 6th will sound better if you do it right. But it comes down to space. A 6th takes way more cubes than a 4th. Because your dealing with 2 ports instead of 1. See a 4th on has one port and the sealed side is half the size of ported. But if you have the room and can tune both port correctly. Id do a 6th. Both port will be different fq. So you have to do all the math to get it right. Why I love 4ths they do the trick and are a lot less complicated. Plus saves ton of room! Hope this helps 👍😎💯💨💨

I would but really no room. I'm luck I had enough room for the 4th order. Which is still small. Not a lot of room in a Saturn lol
If wired in parallel how would only one sub get clipped so bad compared to the other? Was one sun getting more power then the other? I’m confused
I think because the power goes through my 1st in order sub. But it always blows on and not the other. 🤷♂️

Hey bro I know it's been a long time have a lot on my plate right now I have a question ❓ I have the American bass XFL 1222 I wanted to know is it safe to run it at 1500 RMS or should I bring it back down because of the number on the voltmeter I did the √ 1500 should I go ahead and drop it down to √ 31.6 1000? But I just want to let you know but it hits at 38.7 please let me know thanks again for your help
I always ran my xfls at 1500 rms or more. I think they started bottoming out at 2000 So 1500 should be fine. Just keep your voltage up so it's clean power and not clipping 👍💯

I looked online to see if anybody did a Dyno on it and nobody has. So I was going to ask you how would I use the voltmeter to find out if the amps really pushing its power. Because reason why . I use the formula again but trying to get 1600rms from the speaker. And uses the voltmeter and got 40.0. But now I want to see if my amp is pushing enough power . How do I use a voltmeter on an amp to see if it's pushing true power ?
You need to clamp it. You can buy a clamp at Walmart. Look up how to clamp a amp on UA-cam 👍
