@@aelneloopOkay, but calling this film "art" is hyperbolic at best. It was literally created as a marketing tool/medium. I guess art is subjective, but I feel like if you make a film solely as a vehicle to promote your daughter's "talents" and that is the _main focus_ instead of actually making a good movie, that's the lowest form of art if art at all. They weren't even trying to make a good movie. They didn't care if the movie was objectively good. Also, his wife knowing and planting the receipt then calling it in telling the police where to find it is so unnecessarily complicated, how would that conversation even go? Why would she not just be like 'Hey, my husband's the butcher. This is his address, he will be home alone tomorrow' and take the kids out for the day, or even do it anonymously. Why send your daughter alone with him so that she has not only the trauma of knowing her father is a serial killer, but then also seeing him be arrested, in public, while she's alone with no one else she knows to look out for her, and ruining her favourite artist with the memories of this happening at the concert. I'm thinking that's the twist, he might be the serial killer, but it is his wife who is the villain all along!
I actually like a lot of bad movies, the worse the writing and the acting the better, but it still needs to make sense. Bicycle mechanic here: removing spokes from an otherwise true wheel isn't as easy. The spoke nipple is holding the rim side of the threaded spoke which requires a special tool - called spoke key - to remove a spoke from the wheel. In most cases this can take around a minute as you need to fiddle around the spoke key and release the fixed end of the spoke from the wheel hub. Even if you are an experienced mechanic this will take longer than a few seconds.

@ Holy Moses thank you for filling in the backstory. That is so fortunate it was filmed and shared for those of us in Jaime’s community. It’s the eternal gift, her collection of legendary clips/sounds for the specifically perfect occasion.
And I love it because I used to be a hairdresser in my 20s (got my license at 18 because I attended cosmetology school as a part of my high school curriculum ) ANYWAYS one Saturday the salon owner was sick and we had to take on her customers if they couldn’t reschedule. I was stuck with a woman that was going to a wedding. She had one of those little short haircuts that were permed and like a little greying brown artificial afro, teased and sprayed until it was lacquered to the point of being an exoskeleton of her tender inner hair.
Well she sat down in my chair and was the most negative and mean person that actually told all her opinions of my to her face. The kind of stuff someone would think and never say. She said it-before I even washed her hair she told me I was going to destroy her hair. This was a blowout and curl, tease spray into an old lady ‘fro, not a cut or color. So I wash her hair and she complains the entire time. I know I was good at washing, I always gave a little scalp massage if someone needed extra care that day. Then she sits and I start drying and she’s telling my everything I’m screwing up. I get to curling and get half the head done and she told me that I was either a sl*t or trashy and I broke. I just hit the limit and told her in many expletives words I won’t repeat here-told her to get the *beep* outta my chair, and just leave. I don’t want your money or transact with you so LEAVE and go to the wedding with half your hair done (she was going shortly after 😝) . She was so flustered because I don’t think that was the outcome she expected. At all.
She threatened to tell my boss which she did, and my boss was relieved to be rid of her finally. That’s my kicking a client out of my chair story. I think every hairdresser has one 😬
If you or anyone actually made it to the end of this really long and unnecessarily detailed memory unloading, I reward you with this 🍪🍭🍩🍡🍬🎂🍰🧁🥮 plethora of treats for your eyes to eat.
I’m almost 49 so soon I get to tell long weird stories to anyone I trap with a large net and put them in a large dog crate so they have to listen. Catch and release, it’s the ethical thing to do.

That's why I stopped watching trailers and reading reddit posts. I'll read a brief synopsis, maybe do a quick peek at rotten tomatoes, but that's literally it. And let me tell you, it's made my entire movie-going experience so much better. Going in blind is the only way to go!

This one I gave a pass on, because the movie isn't about finding out who the killer is, it's about Shyamalan's daughter's music career
I mean it's about how he's going to escape the trap.

I feel bad for Josh Hartnett because he's actually a good actor. I feel bad for all the actors in this. It's like M'Night didn't care about the movie itself and just needed padding for his daughter's concert movie because there's literally nothing good about this movie and I blame it all on Shamalamadingdong.

I've been waiting for you to review this movie. My girlfriend and I actually left the theater angry. We felt our money was stolen. This movie was one of the worst movies I've ever seen, some of the worst acting I've seen, and was clearly only meant as an advertisement for M. Night's daughter's music. I was so mad I ended up making a Rotten Tomatoes account so I could leave a review. TERRIBLE.

The first review I saw for this movie on social media said it was about a singer who's a vampire and uses her concerts to attract and capture her prey. Even though Im assuming that was complete trolling, that would have been a better plot and storyline than whatever the hell this was.
