@@Vettel_Fanboy_KW FOR WHAT???
Kimi was filling his drink in the rain...
It's absolutely crazy when you think about the fact, that Niki Lauda would've won a season in which he was nearly burned to death, if he would have just driven the last race in Japan and got some points. He stopped his car after a few laps though because there was just too much rain, which is absolutely understandable especially in his case.
He was in a burning car for almost a minute and returned just 6 weeks later. Hunt just won by one point in that season because he finished 3rd in Japan (or rather because Lauda was half dead in the hospital and missed out on 2 races). Hunt had 69 points, Niki Lauda had 68 points. It still amazes me to that day how dedicated Niki Lauda was.
Niki Lauda was without a doubt a soecial person. I love his speech about dedicating an award to the loosers. His Passion will never be forgoten and will forever be uniqe.
Tbh Hunt drove as close to perfection as he could that season. The Ferrari was faster and Hunt had some real bad luck early on and capitalized perfectly on Nikis crash. Niki would've won easily without his accident but given the circumstances Hunt deserved it just as much
It cannot be a coincidence that James Hunt of all people won the championship with 69 points
@@SamuelSantos_ LOL
Niki was an absolute winner. That guy had the knowledge and dedication for motorsports and harnessed it to its full potential. The will power that man had alone made him a legend among legends. The world is a sadder place without him.

And that's why Spyker F1 is now officially dead.
Well. He’s one of the best GT3 drivers now
Spyker needed money which he didn't have
For me the Fangio win was the greatest moment here. I would go as far as saying that performance was the greatest performance in F1 history.
Indubitably. His performance was the greatest drive in F1 history. All the drivers in that race said so.
Definitely is the best performance in f1 history. His final 9 laps that day were utterly remarkable

1:30 Correction:
The record did not stand until 2002. Nigel Mansell, in 1992, was crowned champion with still 5 races to go.
i think they mentioned about the record of having fast lap, pole and leading every lap OR the record is about youngest champion..
@@0611131civil No. The record they are talking about is the "earliest" crowned champion. In 1963 and 1965, Clark was crowned with 3 races remaining. That was the record until 1992, when Mansell was crowned 5 races remaining. And then, in 2002, Schumacher was crowned with 6 races still remaining.
That bruh moment when you have to correct the official F1 youtube channel
@@reisanibal1 if my memory serves me correct, then i believe that ur correct!👍
what they meant here by "earliest", was the earliest 'date' in the year that a world champion was crowned.
Clark in 65 clinched it on August 1st, which was a record at the time.
Mansell in 92 won it with more races to go, but it was on August 16th.
Schumi in 2002 did it on July 21st , which is the earliest date a driver won the title.
Imagine they race in Nordschleife with today's cars
The Ferrari powered cars would blow up at the Döttinger Höhe for sure

There is no way they could go 100% on Nordschleife without breaking the cars, even if nobody crashed, nobody would finish. They would have to baby the car around to make it to the end.

Fangio's win at the old Nürburgring in 1957 was quite arguably the greatest performance in Formula One history in a single race. His fastest lap of 9'17"'4 during the race more than 8 seconds faster than his own pole position time of 9'25"6 is without a single doubt the greatest fastest lap of all times in motorsport history.

Honda:- leaves F1
Cyril to horner:- *you couldn't live with your own failure, where did that bring you? Back to me*
@sports personMercedes won't give them their engines and so won't Ferrari because then Red Bull might have an advantage on them. Renault is the only possible option.
sports person Because Ferrari and Mercedes will never sell them their engines, while having their own cars. Only if Mercedes will leave F1 and be an engine supplier like years ago.
sports person you can’t be this dense can you? What new engine supplier is going to come into F1 at this time? They’d be at a massive disadvantage from the outset and Red Bull want to compete at the front. Renault are their best bet.
@sports person Because they won't have any other engine customers since McLaren are leaving for Mercedes, and Renault are pretty open about how they need more money to stay competitive.
@sports person AFAIK Renault will have to supply RB with engine according to the rules, because Renault the supplier with the least customer cars (they will only supply their own cars next season at least).
