RESPECT absolute legend one of the most honest drivers period
Mika & Schumi rivalry was the best era of F1. They were rivals on track but had massive respect for each other.
As Ferrari fan I always respected Mika and his overtake on Michael is for me the best overtake in F1 history.
I will miss him. He was such a legend.
Hakkinen's still alive.
@@stevemcrichards8768 I ment Schumi I guess
That overtake still gives me goosebumps.
What a legend take a bow
Some of my favorite childhood memories are the Schumi vs Hakkinen battles
I miss those days in F1, great races, great cars and amazing sound.
Mika looks 18 and 50 at the same time! True legend btw!
Great to see these old scenes of him. He got me into F1 when I was still a little kid.
A true gentleman and a legend of sport. His and Michaels rivalry was so iconic. Such a shame he decided to retire from sport relatively early.
Its okay, he defended his title. Had nothing left to prove .
One of the greats this guy. Also, with a fantastic sense of humour
I love how Senna enjoyed the first Podium from Hakkinen. He was such a great man!
Him and Senna also really understood each other in a friendly manner, very cool to see.
Once mika got that first it just unleashed all the talent that had been hidden for some time. His 1999 car sounded just crazy teving to almost 20k rpm
Brillant driver!!! The best FIN driver of ever
He is the guy that got me interested in the sport... I was 10 when that amazing overtake in spa happened and I will never forget it.
What a driver whas Hakkinen the moment that he overtake Schumacher and backmarker Zonta at Spa 2000 still remembers me
One of the only elite sportsman who was never embroiled in controversy and one of a select few who refrained from a level of heightened self importance.
One of the classiest drivers in modern F1 history.
Respect to Mika. An absolute demon when he is on from start to finish.
Definitely most underrated driver! Such a legend and probably in my top 3 of all time!
Mika had to fight The Micheal at Belgium in 2000
my fav person and fav kind of driving skill...
Hakkinen is the best 😍
I want to see more videos like this. This was before my time. Proper racing compared to the racing now. These guys had talent. Not just a car but actual good skills and talent!
Underrated Legend.
His first win in Jerez in '97 made me, a then five-year-old Finnish kid, an F1 fan for life. I've never looked back, and I never will. Kiitos Mika 🇫🇮
Mika Hakkinen's final victory at Indianapolis was made even more emotional due to the fact that it was Murray Walker's final full time commentary race.
Mika has so much charisma and mad level of confidence and daring ..finnish things i guess ..legend.
Definitely up there as one of my favourite drivers. Still get goosebumps watching him pass Schumacher at Spa.
You should do a video of the brilliance that is Montoya.
Montoyas video would be brilliant, ballsy overtakes and one liners all the way
Yeah! He was specially shining when driving as a team mate to Räikkönen. In truth Montoya was more like Jacques Villeneuve, Damon Hill etc. a man in the spot with the right car, but lacking the true talent in the end.
It was one of the best fights against Michael - love the attitude and spark Mika has in everything he does
The only driver that scared Shumi when he was dominanting
Sorry Valtteri, but this the real flying Fin
Valtteri meh
Sorry Kimi you mean
@@eliasburlon5205 maybe, but I here a lot of people saying it to Valtteri
Elías Burlón Kimi is the iceman
Bwoah
One of my favourite drivers in the late 90's, one the childhood Hero like Senna, Mr. Hakkinen the flying finn is pure class.
:D
Love the way how Senna was happy for Hakkinen
One of the greatest drivers ever. My Favorite ♥️♥️♥️♥️
