You guys never fail to bring out the wonder and romanticism of travel and immersion into other cultures! Not to mention, you’re able to present so much beauty and information without having camera crews and huge expense budgets like mainstream TV travel shows. So impressive!
What separates your travels from the majority is money. Without it you are finding the real deal. Most people go to the resorts and pay multiples for the same ocean front property, and you had an entire beachfront to yourselves. You are living with the locals not separated by the luxury hotels. Our planet should be accessible to everyone despite money and you’re showing that. Good on you
I’ve been to Fiji only once… and my goodness you make me realise how much I miss the wonderful Fijian hospitality, the amazing generosity, graciousness and fundamental goodness of their culture. From the warm, loving way they embrace children - whether theirs, or a those of a guest… to the genuine happiness and their desire to pass that happiness to others.
I'm glad you guys had a more authentic experience in Fiji, honestly I've done the luxury hotels there and sometimes you don't feel like you really saw Fiji. The people of Fiji are so beautiful and friendly to everyone, I want to go back and have an experience more like this.
Not just a travel blog. Immersive and highly interesting with thoughtful narration. A documentary no less. You two are gems. Come back to Australia and shine bright!
Bravo! This video captured the essence of island life in the Pacific. The longer format offered a more immersive experience, and the graphics were a nice touch. And, of course, those little kids were adorable.
I love the peaceful pace. Your videos don't just flash the highlights, they conjure the actual feeling of travelling and of the place itself. There is a genuine and honest documentation of your personal experience, and although it is uniquely your experience, it is also one I am sure many travelers can relate to, and that non-travelers can feel and enjoy just from watching. Well done!
Thank you for your informative video on Fiji. You captured many aspects of Pacific Island life such as the delays (Pacific time), the inter-island ferries, the outboard motor boats, the electricity issues, the water supply and plumbing, the isolation, the phonetic spelling, the joyful children, the help from a friend of a friend, the local markets, the goodwill towards foreigners, the difficulty in getting supplies, the mosquitoes, the refreshing sea breeze, the humid heat, etc. It was a delight and brought back many memories.
I've been to Fiji a number of times for work and family trips and honestly, you guys are doing it the right way. The resorts are flashy but unbelievably boring after the first day or two. Love your work guys. So much!!
Hi. I don't normally write comments but I had to this time for sure. I loved the new style. Your down to earth filming has now made me want to go to Fiji. I like to travel and see the 'real' people and country. You have done this in your film. Well done!
Brilliant. Thank you both very much. I spent a week in Fiji at the start of August, I didn't want to leave because the place is stunning and the people are so friendly and warm.
What a fabulous new format! Very well suited to the smaller countries and it takes the pressure off you guys to produce a new video every three days or so. And it's so great to have you back! Live long and prosper!
Guys this was one amazing video. I was grinning from ear to ear the entire time. I am thrilled you went to Fiji. You both needed to unplug and relax. The people and the culture changes you. It's the Essence of stop and smell the roses. story telling at its finest. Now your ready for your next adventure after your reset of peace and tranquillity
Take care of yourselves, guys, we subscribers will never unsubscribe if you post ‘too little’ we only unsubscribe if you post too much in a way that seems not yourselves in a commercial sort of way and I don’t see you doing that so remember SELF CARE FIRST!
This video wasn't what I was expecting at all, it was so, so much better. Also, the kava hut animation is beautiful and haunting. Well done, you darn kids.
there is a risk waiting long periods btwn episodes. audience might think you have moved on away from youTube. a short mourning period as to what we lost, but move on in our lives. that, fortunately was not the case this time.
I think a lot of Australians go to Fiji. They fly to Nadi airport, catch the resort bus, stay at the resort and then back to Nadi airport and home. When I went to Fiji, I stayed with my friend in Suva and caught the bus through the villages to the beach. Loved the way that many people would walk for an hour or so to church on Sunday morning, and home again. At the market, my only drink of Kava numbed my lips as well!
Thanks you One Pack Wanderers! We have waited in anticipation for this one! You get better with every release. I could do with some Island time myself👍
Why do I love your productions so much? This was epic, maybe a little too much in time but boy did I enjoy it. I went to Fiji about 20 Years ago and stayed at a resort where it was safe. I saw more in this episode than I did a week there. Keep up the bonza job.
I had a smile on my face for the whole video. I spent two years of my childhood in fiji, and i never saw the Fiji i knew reflected in glossy youtube videos. You really caotured the unhurried spirit of the place. Thank you friends 🙏
Beautiful guys!💙 Glad to see my favourite travel bloggers of all time are safe and well I knew you would be Fijians are beautiful people!!!🌺 It must of been nice to have more time to work on your art and it showed in all aspects of this production you guys are evolving and making an Aussie proud.🇦🇺🇺🇲
This video was well worth the wait . Such a poignant narrative in this longer video which was a delight to watch, experiencing the beauty of Fiji with you 😌 guys. You are such great storytellers and cinematographers/artists . We really appreciate your perspective. Well done . We missed you 😊.
@OnePackWanderers I agree. I was enjoying the new "feel" that I was delighted in as the video unfolded. It looked different, felt different, without losing any of the charm you two capture in all your other films. You really should look into documentary film making about people and culture. People need people more than ever before, and even in the big cities, you guys have a way of getting the viewers to have a connectivity with your subjects. Always a fan and always watching. Congratulations to you both. You're both bloody rippers 👍
This is exactly what we needed to hear. Would be lovely to make the videos more about the people we meet, as opposed to it being about us. We’re gonna try! 😅
@OnePackWanderers never doubt yourselves on this. The amount of love and loyalty your channel gets and the way it has grown since I started watching (on about your 5 or 6 video) is outstanding. Just from where I sit, there have been at least 10 people that have enjoyed your journey because I did, and the enthusiasm for what you do is very contagious. Only last week, my therapist became a new devotee after listening to me talk about how much joy that you have brought just to me alone. She said she loved the way that you capture and distil your subject. Onwards and Upwards, your doing a good thing - your audience is proof of it. ❤️
this is going to be great.... so i love this its was soooo chill im glad you had a great time there. cant wait to see where you two are headed too next
Ahhhh.. time to pull out the Tim Tam's, a cuppa tea n try not to make a mess , if you know what I mean ...😅 . Great to see you post , you've been missed ❤️ from Melbourne..
Hi one pack wanderers! Thought about you today. A giant. Banana shark sculpture was put up in Bondi, New South Wales today. Sorry you missed that one Tia 😂😂
Thank you !!!! ... love love love everything you do !! ... was starting to get worried and was going to call all the hospitals in the world !! 🙄 ... but Yay !! ... you're back !! ... you have a charmed life but it is of your own making !!! ... big big hug from Australia !!!
Oh, so many good memories, I have heard many stories of the increased crime, lack of employment and drug addiction on the main island, it wasn't comfortable in Nadi! I was relieved when you went to the smaller islands and met the real Fijian communities! New Guinea and Australian natives were cannibals too! I stayed on a former plantation where there were no cars, no internet, no tv and one shop - but the spacious Bure, local donkeys, endless beach activities, friendly people and all you can eat fresh food really made the days endlessly relaxing! Where I was they had music, singing, carving, basket weaving, tree climbing, jungle trecks, kids club, etc! What a beautiful postcard that is Tia, I'm so glad you enjoyed the experience, until next time! 💕
You absolutely smashed this one! Best Fiji video ever. You truly mastered the Bula spirit and your time in the Yasawas was emotional to watch. As soon as you talked about the Kava night, I knew you would just experience the hospitality. Well done on being so authentic in your capture.
I lived in Lautoka Fiji for a while and loved it. The slow pace of life, Fiji time, the sugar cane trucks, impossible to overtake because of the crazy drivers. The friendly people, the mangoes, the curries, the markets.. It all came back to me. I love following your travels 😍
My husband and I await your videos with great enthusiasm and childlike anticipation. You certainly showed Fiji in all it's glory. The homestays looked so amazing on those islands. We have heard how friendly and inclusive the Fijians are. It was beautiful to see the joy displayed by the children leading such simple lives. You takes us back to our adventures of the early 70's but we weren't as adventurous as you two. Can't wait for your next adventure.
I wondered where you two disappeared to. What a great doco, it was like watching a mini-movie, and I loved it. I'm an Aussie, but Fiji is one of my favourite places to vacation. Thank you so much for all that effort, and a beautiful piece of work. 👍🏻 😎
We loved your video, so lovely to see parts of Fiji not many would go to. We have been to Suva a couple of times on our cruises to Hawaii. Such a beautiful country, lovely people. Thankyou so much guys for bringing us here 💖
Very professionally edited & composed. And this is the most beautiful I've seen my country of origin portrayed. I can tell that you'll achieve all your dreams & more because you've immersed yourself in an ancient yet very humble culture.
I absolutely love this long form, movie style video. Like your Aussie wrap up, it so beautifully captures the experience. Thank you for letting us feel like we're also on a journey.
Well worth the wait Wanderers. Cultural kava with serene scenery and dynamic dialogue. You should be proud of your latest quality production. I look forward to the next one.
Tia and Cheveyo, that was the best!! I absolutely loved how you took us along on your Fiji journey. Your calm easy narration allowed us, the viewers to take in all the beauty that's Fiji. I'd happily watch it again. As always, I can't wait to see where you're both off to next. Take care💖
Arhhhh Fiji, the land where a chocolate bar turns into a chocolate liquid in approximately 3.5 seconds 😂You two are hilarious, but these longer vlogs are ruining my diet lol I snacked my way through the entire thing 😊 bought back some amazing childhood memories of our family adventure their many many moons ago. Awesome work guys 🌺🌺👋🏼🇳🇿 p.s gorgeous Post card Tia👌🏼
We have been waiting with huge anticipation & you did not fail to deliver. What a beautifully done video! Thank you, once more, for allowing us into your travels & experiences. ❤
@@OnePackWanderers you know when you watch a vlog and it’s good, really good and entertaining and they have a million people watching and you are satisfied? Guys, we waited a while for a new video and then you give us this absolute masterpiece. Thank you. One of your greatest videos you've ever shared.
Yeah I think this was their best.
