An idea would be to issue a digital 'token' with each order. When you get something really special and limited, make it visible to people based on a pre-requisite number of tokens. Dunno if your cart would handle such a thing, but it's definitely possible to limit visibility in some carts to established customers.
I didn't order a PG, mainly because I still don't feel like my building skills are good enough to build one yet, I'm fine with building MG Kits and i feel like I would mess up or lose a important part to a PG. So I'm happy with the MG and HG kits I got from you guys during the sale. PS boxing "day" sales haven't been good for a couple of years now. Started going down hill when Boxing "day" became Boxing "week".
Rise up to the challenge (btw PGU is by far the easiest to do, they made it that way probably because of new builders and a certain virus in 2020 and that's the release year of the first PGU - It's different because there is 3 builds to do (most people stop at 2 and don't build the rest of the armor for a very good reason). Btw, I'm honestly different, I would buy if there was a major discount so if there WAS that day you feel ready, the PG kit you bought will be ready on your hands. And yes, this is one of the real reasons why the word "backlog" exist and it's totally cool.
Why don't you put all of your sealed boxes(brown ones full of sets) on the top shelves, and also put all of your overstock in some of your shipping boxes and put them on the top as well. Just keep a list of what's up there and if you run low on a set pull some down from the top. Might help you with keeping the aisles clear

Most big box stores will do price adjustments if they sell at price lower than your very recent purchase. Just bring in the receipt showing the higher price and they credit you back the difference. You could offer price protection to customers - if you sell for lower price within xx days then they can request a credit for the difference.
I hope you get a better handle on your logistics situation for selling future gunpla, I will definitely spread the word about your website from US! Love from Ohio!
Black Friday/Cyber Monday I wasn't able to do. Money is tight. I used to work retail though, so I've been on that side of sales too, which at least for the store I was working at, those are not the best sales days. It's been around 8-9 years since I worked that job, but I think it was sales around Memorial Day (I'm in the US) were bigger sale days, as in, the most % off the original prices. I'm in the US, so this might be different, I'm not sure. I work in a small warehouse. One of the things we ship are direct to customer items. When I have to split up an order into multiple packages, I can go to the shipping company tracking number site with the tracking number and it'll tell me the tracking on all packages related to it. Have you tried doing that? When you split an order, see what the shipping carrier tracking page tells you? Rather than what tracking may say on your own website (I've never been to your site). Might work the same for your customers. Maybe not. Worth a shot.
I was alerted through your website as I marked " let me know when it was restocked" so if you want to do the ones who support yall it's one way supporters find out
not only established accounts, but with promotions like these (the PGU one) you should reward active users, so making it so only accounts that bought something in the last 3-6 months could be another way to reward your community instead of newcomers. The added benefit is that with this condition you filter the people that made an account for this promotion and doesn't buy another thing until you do another crazy promotion.
Hi there! Have you thought of using something to mount your phone to so this way you can use both your hands? I know about glasses with cameras but there is a strap where the phone can be mounted in the center of the chest 😺
I think the idea of only selling to previous customers is the way to go. And perhaps people who have ordered at least a couple weeks before the sale so you dont get people ordering something small like a marker and then putting it in the private warehouse to game the system.
I bought an expensive TV from Costco and the deal waa great then 3 weeks later it dropped another $1,000 luckily i went to the online price match thing they have out in a claim and they reimbursed. Alot of places have Price Protection for 30 days so if you find it cheaper at that store or anywhere else they will honor the price. I am not sure about boxing day or black Friday prices though. I am fron Ontario aswell so it is a good thing to know.
I just found your channel, watched 2 vids. Feedback.... In 35+ years of experience, when I saw the amount of stock you have I was horrified. That is a LOT of money tied up. (I don't know how much you sell though) then it was the absolute state of the place (a mess). I don't know who ami is to you, wife, girlfriend, employee? But from what I saw I would let her go and get someone more "enthusiastic" she could use that phone she is always looking at to look for another job.
I guess for me it will be last year I bought a new iphone 15 with two year contract on black friday. I thought it is a sweet deal but turns out around january, they offer 20 dollars less monthly for two years. So lesson learned black friday or boxing day is not always a sweet deal anymore.

I remember seeing the short and thinking about buying one, but I forgot and missed out… Would have loved to have gotten one with the special “stuff”, but there is always next time. As you mentioned in the end of the video, I also hate when stores have one sale, and then immediately have a better sale. Recently in December, a certain gunpla store with warehouse in the name had a great Christmas campaign, and if you spent a certain amount, you were able to qualify for a model kit. The discount in general was the standard 15%, but the week after the Christmas campaign ended, they had a 40% sale on select kits….. Would have been great if those kits that were 40% off were also included in the Christmas campaign. And having another sale after the Christmas season makes no sense.

I enjoy building PG's more than building RG's....I have big hands and RG parts are so small.
