Hi Beautiful bike. Can you tell about your rear lights. Did you remove the original brake light or did you change the base completely. And did you use short or medium signal lights. What light did you go with in the front.
Thanks, I removed the original brake light setup along with the turn signals. I replaced it with Triumph's MULTIFUNCTION LAMP KIT A9838046, I think they are mediums, but not sure as they came in the kit. The work as running lights, brake lights and turn signals... very bright. For the front I swapped the long turn signals for the mediums... A9838049.
The tracker bars by Biltwell needed no wiring or cable modifications. The were an inch to short for the throttle control., so I fabricated extensions. I since changed to the Triumph T120 bars and they are a perfect fit, with no mods needed... and look the same as the tracker bars.
Peter, you can learn from my mistake. I thought the whole emblem had adhesive backing... and with a little heat they would come right off. I damaged the tank, trying to remove one. luckily only one side as I discovered there are two screws that hold them on. You will need a heat gun or hair dryer to soften up the glue on the center part of the emblem were it says triumph... its the white area. Once you get it warm enough, you will need a small screwdriver to peel back the center part of the emblem. It's made of a thin metal and can not be reused. Once peeled back you will see the screws. If you position your new emblem right... it will cover the holes from the screws
Very easy and cheap... I went to my local hardware store and got 1 inch conduit straps. Here is a link to what I used. I rapped tape around the swing arms... painted the straps black, used stainless hardware. The bags have a thick plastic backing. Drilled holes to match and align the bags... no issue over 3 years use.www.lowes.com/pd/Oatey-4-Pack-1-in-Galvanized-2-hole-Pipe-Strap/1001120472?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-plb-_-ggl-_-LIA_PLB_142_Pipe-Fittings-_-1001120472-_-local-_-0-_-0&ds_rl=1286981&gclid=Cj0KCQiA37KbBhDgARIsAIzce17A1Zc5DhD4WlrUDqjUc0Vj9itGp-0guSBu4Vlnh_PjtlH4wono7PEaAr5zEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Thanks... yes they are held on with two screws. I learned it the hard way as I thought they were held on with adhesive and scratched the tank on one side... hard to see in the video. You have to peal off the center part of the badge and the screws are behind it. The bobber emblem only cover one hole the other is very hard to see... I'm good with it.
I think this is by far the prettiest speedmaster. If possible, would you list all the after market parts. I like the bobber overall look but the speedmaster is clearly more comfy and practical so your bike seems to merge both

They are from Bitwell, they are their High Tracker bars... there is one issue with them. From bend to the end of the bars, they need to be another inch longer. The throttle will bind of you mount the throttle control flush with the end. I had to add spacers, but the bars are perfect for me. www.biltwellinc.com/products/tracker-high-handlebars-1-black
@@Yo-Ken seems like most good alternative bars need that extra inch for the controls; what spacers did you use to make these fit? I can’t stand the beach bars. Btw- I see your in NJ as well. Sussex county by any chance? I’d love to check out your mods in person as I’m looking at several for my 2022
@@btotheg I had some aluminum stock laying around that was then right diameter and fab the spacers. I switch to the t120 bars, perfect fit and no need to change cables. They are almost identical to the Biltwell bars. I moved to North Carolina, and I sold the Speedmaster... it was bitter sweet, it was a great bike.... I wish I could keep them all.
@@georgepacheco5682 I forgot one more part number. A9700592... this kit contains the wiring harness and cover for the lights to mount to. Its all plug and play
Those are Biltwell high tracker bars. They are not a bolt on fit, I changed them with Triumph's 120 Bonneville bars. The 120 bars are almost identical to the Bilitwell's, and they are a direct bolt on with no changes to the cables.
@@Yo-Ken The speedmaster just has its proportions right in how it looks .Big, But not to big. My R3 gets attention for its size. That thing of yours is a super model.
Hi I like the new Brighter indicator lights and darker screen! The Pear shaped wing mirrors are shorter than the originals and are not good for seeing rear Traffic ? But as for the rest the bike looks so dull in matt black with saddle bags that are practically useless! To me you have completely lost the look off triumphs representation of the bike and the straight handlebars look crap! Each to there own I guess! Good news is you probably have the best cruiser triumph have made for years! Have a nice Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow... lots of opinions there. I'm not a chrome guy, it was way to gaudy for me. I bought the bike for its overall design not its trim... I would have bought the bobber black, but the seat and rear fender design was not to my liking. The mirrors if adjusted right will give you a good field of view. The bags are for short cruises not for long trips... I have my gs for that. I can fit bottle of water and my lunch. The big bags don't look right on such a small bike, but thats just me. I ride the speedmaster aggressively... the beach bars are comfortable, but not so great for spirited riding. In the future the bike will have black wheels... making it darker and not to your liking, but hey it's my bike and like you said... "to each his own". Safe riding.
I like your handlebars vs the beach style on the stock bikes.
