he is spot on bought the q3 im a q2 owner lenses are better no question but thats it . sent it back bought the psvr 2 few weeks ago when it dropped in price . its my daily driver now i acnt disagree with his views . sony ought to be trying harder to sell it
You tell them Dave how it is the only one with balls to bring these things up because the other ones get paid for lieing by meta call it out how it is good video
Have you tried any modded PCVR games yet? When I get back to my PC in a few days gonna try Alien Isolation in VR, that should def get a official VR mode for PSVR2.
Like you say Dave, each to their own. Nice to hear your opinions. For me, it’s hard to beat the overall versatility of the Q3. For PCVR the psvr2 may work better for those that want oled blacks/contrast.
You not gonna talk about the mura on the PSVR2 I have them both they are both good but they both have their drawbacks. The controllers on the wquest 3 are awesome on the PSVR2 they are awful. PSVR2 cxannot do standalonme. and if you have ypour lighting right the pass through isn't that grainy and the new games coming to quest 3 look ppretty damn good. And the PSVR2 has good colours and blacks but it's not that cpmfortable either too plasticy and a pain in the arse to puit on with the earbuds and the button you have to press on the back and pull the headset. Just to take it all off when you need to do something. quest 3 you just flick passthrough on. and the passthrough is super grainy on the PSVR2 and b;lack and white so each to their own i guess. I use them both for PCVR and if you was expecting standalone games to look like PSVR2 games and PC games you are an idiot. But Zero Calibre 2 looks awesome tbh.
It's not that much better on PC the PSVR2 some games look better on my quest 3 some look better on my PSVR2. they are both great headsets and i am keeping them both.Quest 3 has the same graphics on PC just need to use the oculus debug tool to get great visuals the out of the box visuals aren't great but easily fixed mate.
Yesterday I watched video, where was said that PSVR2 has nat only better colors (mainly black), but also better WHITE than Quest 3. So the picture is brighter and with better contrast, than on Quest 3. They also said, that Quest 3 was designed primary for nonwired use so there is higher picture compresion, with lower resolution and lower fps than on PSVR2, because of the weaker hardware. PSVR2 was primary created for wired connection with higher quality where picture compresion is lower and fps with resolutuon is higher. That is the reason, why plaing PSVR2 on PC is more imersive, than Quest. Because it is closer to reality. So it is not only about technical specification, where both headsets has similar resolition, but also about quality of picture compresion. I have never heard this informations.
@@frishter Technically yes, different is only few percent. But the picture seen in Quest 3 has higher compression and lower quality, than in PSVR2. That is the point.
@@janapetru9681 It also has 25 pixels per degree compared to 18 of the psvr2. Unfortunately it does have compression. I wish I could try both, the through the lens pics made the quest 3 look better, but also hard to see the benefits of oled through a screen. Both seem to have their advantages and disadvantages but decent products. I think for ps5 owners, a psvr2 seems like a solid choice just for gt7 alone.
We are spoilt in choice of headsets, and they are all great for the money. There's so much negativity towards VR from doomsayers who have never even tried VR. We as fans should not add to the negativity by fighting over which headset is best which will only damage the growth of a niche market.
@@VrDaveTheRave ROFL.. jokes aside , wishing you and your family a good holiday. Let's get some gaming in when you get back . Great video as usual. The quest is a fantastic headset for what it does , mobile chipset allowing us to play vr , it has made vr more mainstream but has also pushed vr one step backwards imo. With so many games coming out on quest only Devs are now taking the easy option and releasing games on the quest which lets be honest gives us a bare bones at times , uninspiring graphical experience. This is instead of pushing vr further. Half life alyxx , resident evil 4 and village , call of the mountain are where we should be aiming and not mine craft esque visuals.
@@VrDaveTheRave If this is true, you should have mentioned it. However, Quest 3 has no mura. Compressed graphic does not make mura. You know what exactly is mura, right?

Cheers, mate. have one for Sunday. After that, I think I will take a few weeks off and 😓

Time for some GT7 in VR. Sony must be mad for not porting that game to PC, it would sell bucket-loads and sell a ton of headsets.
Make it happen Sony!
Enjoy mate 👍
