It’s the 30th of July. A hot summer night in Arkansas and I am hearing a song from over 40 years ago, I was 7 when this concert was recorded, and it sounds as fresh as if it were performed yesterday. Price and Sue Ann making my night even hotter.

Gosh, the memories.... seems like just yesterday Prince released his first album... Still Waiting was by far my favorite song from this album, with Soft and Wet a close second....
Such a talent and amazing entertainer even back then .. just "waiting" to be discovered world wide. Not to mention the unbelievable voice of Sue Ann. They had great chemistry ..shame they didn't do more... I would imagine she could have taken V6 to some high levels.
You couldnt be more right. Prince was such a great and absolutely rare talent. When I began reading about Prince and his beginnings, I found him to be remarkably strong mentally. His father did not throw him out of his home once, but twice . Also, an important fact about Prince that I found poignant is the fact that his father would tell him, "Do not touch or play my piano because you will never play as good as I do , ever ." Well, I _never_ forgot hearing Prince say those words . As he told of this moment in his childhood, I could tell he also never forgot his fathers words. I found his father to be very cruel and selfish . Of course this could and would affect Prince for the rest of his life and it hurt him , deep in his heart, but he was so strong and so very intelligent. A remarkable human being Prince was! He became a beautiful piano player, even playing Mozart. Of course, most of us know he was musically talented playing many instruments. Ending this comment with these words::: Everytime I saw Prince on stage I would think of that little boy, out on his own in this huge world and knowing it had to be terrifying. Prince was blessed to live with his best childhood friend and his mother until things picked up with his music and he began to travel. Prince was one of the greatest musical geniuses of my time and I know there will never be another like him. ...and for the record....Prince could outplay his father on the piano and he became a ... 🎵Superstar🎵

Starting at 4:33 it seemed as if Prince was giving us some of those
' _Do_ _Me_ _Baby_ ' sexy vocals that _only_ he knew how to give.

Prince should have made more easy grooving R&B like this. It sounds so smooth and un belabored.

Sounds like Prince on piano...
Great ear - agree.
It does sounds like it indeed, but it is Matt Fink trying to find his way into the song.

In the bedroom, all that pressure building, he was waiting so long
