how come i've never met anyone who shares my unconditional adoration 4 this guy? he raised me , from the first time i. heard a song by him. Ii've never and will never. let him go. you aint enjoying music if you aint experienced thee greatest
U haven't met me!!!! I feel exactly the same, his songs have and always will be the soundtrack to my life, listening to certain albums brings back particular memories in my past, my past loves, family members now long lost, Prince was always in the background somewhere playing in my car, my stereo and my headphones on the bus on the train over all my years x I miss him so much, but I am truly grateful for the legacy of music he left for us all. Peace x
Prince and I were born a year apart, he in 1958 and me in 1959. He through his music was my best friend. Prince never let the elevator go down. Whenever I was sad he reminded that although sometimes it snows in April we will always be able to play in the sunshine. Prince was always there with songs thar became the soundtrack of my life. He is missed by not only close friends like me but also the world where he is so sorely needed.
Prince had an all female band contractually (by Warner bros.) It wasn’t his idea, he talks about this live on stage when he performs “what’s my name.” NPG is undoubtedly his best group
@Tony Warner bros gave him a deal only if he had an all white band. (In this new day and age.. it’s all about inclusion smh..) Which is why when third eye girl would go on Tour he would always bring Liv Warfield, Cassandra O’Neal and Damaris Lewis (THREE beautiful black women) to fill in the show as well to not make the band look “as white”. Prince is a genius.. and when ppl would ask him about third eye girl “band” prince words were: “it’s equal opportunity funk” dont you see! 👁 LMAOOOO ..new power generation forever! 🔥 #NPG #3121
@@larrybranchii No matter. I saw him and 3rdeyegirl live and they were great. Played great versions of his old tracks etc. All his bands were obviously brilliant but PlectrumElectrum was a bloody good album too.
I was at the 2nd show that night. And if the person who took this photo was too, I was standing right behind and to the left a step or so. Amazing!!! Thanks for posting.

I love 3rdeyegirl - one of his best groups. His live shows with them are incredible.

One of the best rock bands ever with prince at the helm

I love the fact that Prince drops so many clues and hints about real life in his music.. especially when he performs live. #3121
Much, much better than the studio version
